- SpaceX is targeting Monday, June 24 for a Falcon Heavy launch of the STP-2 mission from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The primary launch window opens at 11:30 p.m. EDT, or 3:30 UTC on June 25, and closes at 3:30 a.m. EDT on June 25, or 7:30 UTC. A backup launch window opens on June 25 at 11:30 p.m. EDT, or 3:30 UTC on June 26, and closes at 3:30 a.m. EDT on June 26, or 7:30 UTC. Deployments will begin approximately 12 minutes after liftoff and end approximately 3 hours and 32 minutes after liftoff.
Falcon Heavy’s side boosters for the STP-2 mission previously supported the Arabsat-6A mission in April 2019. Following booster separation, Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zones 1 and 2 (LZ-1 and LZ-2) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Falcon Heavy’s center core will attempt to land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. - Наука та технологія

1:56:20 Cosmic 2-5
2:04:48 Cosmic 2-4
2:11:08 Cosmic 2-3

You can see at least two of the nominally non-visible deployments by watching the reflection in the satellite at the bottom of the view closest to the camera. 1:03:49 and 1:08:50 At 59:03, you can actually directly see the deployment pass at the very top of the screen, it is just very briefly visible.
The deployment of NPSAT1 was quite a jolt for me - up to that point, I had been observing two round satellites on the bottom left of the second stage. As it left, I suddenly discovered that one of those had been a reflection all along.

36:11 Rest in peace, cursed center core.
The center core is NOT "cursed". The flight characteristics are different than a Falcon 9 Booster Stage. The center core was MODIFIED to handle the loads from the side boosters. Thus the MASS distribution is different. While it appears the same as a Falcon 9 it is NOT the same.
They will modify their algos in the flight reentry computer. They will get it right. This is only the third flight of a Falcon Heavy. They'll get it right. They are not stupid. This is NEW technology. And only SpaceX has pulled it off....with Falcon 9.
Now they need do it with Falcon Heavy.

Direction to building a Space Craft Hybrid.
Let's start, Liek Myrabu a university professor out of New Mexico, Lightcraft is his invention. An Engine for the Hybrid. 12 Lasers, 4 shaped disk , massive compared to what Liek used in his Discovery channel debut. And used internally, with the heat of the sun , heat shield tiles and the latest alloy used on that satellite heading to the sun. A set of 3 Lasers firing sequentially, air is triggered in like a combustion engine, instead of gas, air is injected. Using a similar engine that is used on a Russian icebreaker (Discovery channel video) and 250,000 kilowatts of power , will lose some but I can get a generation of 120,000 pounds of thrust. If you ever take a look at this ,and I hope you will. I will make yours and my Dreams reality . Thanks

THE PUZZLE
LIGHTCRAFT a propulsion system created by Professor Leik Myrabo out of the University of New Mexico .
Turning back time to an earlier era of the warplane. Someone in New York working on his fighter plane,
tried firing his machine gun with his best line of sight. A problem arose when he fired , this took the
propeller to shreds, so he came up with a solution, using a chain and timing so the mounted machine gun
would fire between the high speed propeller. This would be another form of sequential firing .
Maglev, high speed trains that virtually float due to magnets on opposite axis, like the trains, the technic
1200 turntables also use this same system with no belts and floats on magneticity which you can control the
speed .
The tiles on the space shuttle. The greatest invention used primarily for reentry of the shuttle. I once saw a
video on these tiles where one of the tiles, much smaller about the size of a baseball was placed in a furnace
until it glowed like the sun, when it was removed from the furnace a scientist picked up the block with his
bare hands and it didn't even burn him the slightest .
The combustion engine, it has moved multimillions of people and has being thrown into everything from
bikes to planes. It works on fuel, cylinders, spark plugs and timing causing a controlled explosion
Shoes, wallets, jackets have this unique thing that comes from a weed plant. Velcro which will play a part in
the internals .
Finally a Russian ice breaker of all things. What's unique about this ice breaker is it power source, it shares
the same as most naval carriers and it will outlast its crews .
Ok you don't quite get. Going to help you. Leik Myrabo, Lightcraft laser propulsion. Please watch video via
UA-cam and listen to narrator for keywords such as heat of the sun and explosion. The actions given in slowmo is also something to look at, including the air gun used to spin the disk .
EVERYTHING MENTIONED HAS ITS PURPOSE
To replicate a combustion engine, where air is used as the fuel and the laser is the spark plugs. Under normal
circumstances this would melt a regular engine. Here's where the tiles come into play. With what I understand
the tiles can be formed to meet any requirements. Using them internally is part of the equations. The setup
is for also external use as well .

Most beautiful footage of a crash we've gotten so far!
Would naturally have preferred success, but if you gotta go out, go out like that!
Uninterrupted drone ship footage was spectacular as well!
20% faster than Arabsat at reentry burn cutoff! That in itself is astonishing and that they got so close is, and I shun the market-saturation of this term, simply mind-blowing. Wonderful shot just after landing burn startup when the sky lit up and the water was lashed from the deck of OCISLY by the plume.
Also, dat IR footage of the side boosters. I've run out of hyperbole. Just breathtaking.
@András Ács I thought that seemed pretty quick!
I bet everybody in the room were chocked when they first saw the entry burn at 32:15. The IR camera made the burn look like the booster has exploded, then when they switched to the onboard cameras an saw everything is still fine everyone chilled the hell out :D :D :D
Center core landing looked like it was going well, the blast is seen on the center of the barge. Watch again, you'll see it suddenly fly off, almost as if a safety routine steered it away (maybe something they built to preserve the ship during an anomaly?)
If the onboard computers decide that continuing the landing attempt is not safe, the rocket steers itself away from the drone ship (or solid ground in case of LZ-1/2) to crash(-land) in the ocean instead, thus keeping the ship intact.
That blast was the three engines going to full throttle to abort the landing. You are correct.
@36:10 *Beautiful progress.* Landing a moving rocket on the moving ship is hard.
Good Luck to SpaceX to make their Mars dreams come true.

Fantastic mission. The landings were particularly exciting, as usual. Not that I was wishing for the center core to miss the landing, but it did make for a great show and some tense moments. SpaceX learns from each mission failure and eventually turns them into consistent success.
Of course i still love you centre core ;_:
I love what space x has done with the presentation of their launches, it's like a huge sports event! (except that it's interesting and useful for humanity 🤔😀)
When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England. - Monty Python
It will all work out on the next one, that one will stay up.
Lol the Falcon 1 launched on the fourth try.
Previous attempts (both castle and Falcon 1) were simply building the foundation, where it would “stand on”.
So they are having problems with the center core recovery. This is not surprising. What needs to be understood is that the center core is not like booster stage of a Falcon 9 as it has been modified to handle the additional stresses of having the loads from the side boosters attached. There are different flight dynamics as a result since the distribution of mass has been changed.
They will figure it out. i haven't a doubt about that. This is a new technology and, although the core rocket APPEARS to be the same as the booster stage of a Falcon 9 one must understand that appearances can be deceptive.
Congratulations, Space-X, on a successful flight.
It was also going faster than any other landing attempt
Traveling faster, and its further out to sea.
It looked like it was on target to begin with at start of the landing burn, but then it aborts and ditches, just missing the drone ship.
The Centre core is programmed to do that if the computer is not happy with the landing, it will take the rocket as far as it can away and ditch.
They got more data than with just throwing it away!
@@JonEhBee Of course. I am not being critical. And that data is valuable.
How many times did the Falcon 9 fail in the recovery attempts before they got it right? And when they did get it right, now it has become exceptional to lose a booster.
They will get it right. I have no doubt. (And they caught a fairing to boot?)
Go Space-X
Doubt they will figure it out, not enough flights before bfr comes online
What an impressive sight to see those side boosters landing. Still gives me chills. Great job SpaceX team.
Absolutely incredible. Honestly, the F9 landings have become routine for me, but the FH landings are still very emotional for me. Even though I’ve watched the first FH live stream like 20 times.

OCISLY: Welcome back! Come land here.

Well, according to Elon, the thrust vector control system of the center engine failed and the rocket went into its abort routines.
36:10
Oh😀, oooh😗, ahhh😮, ooof😦, ouch😖.
But anyways they did a great job!👍
At 27:47 I believe there is a 4th object tumbling between the two boosters and before the boost back burn.
My first thought was a leg from one of the three was freefalling.
When the center core was landing on the drone ship, the dust and smoke was dead center in the X, then it veered and ditched. My second thought, now I know which one lost a leg.
It veered at the same time the legs should deploy, realized that one was gone, and did a programmed ditch to save the drone ship.
Speciation for sure.
Lets see if I'm right when they release the final report.
Great theory and all but I’m sure as you know by now, three years later, the reason that the center core failed is thrust vector control melting, therefore, being locked in place.
The center core saw a cool rock in the water and wanted to go get it.
36:44 It's probably nothing important, but when I saw this all my sci-fi horror vibes started to tingle 😱😅
