Lagoon 42 'Mirage'

Launched in 2019 in Sydney, 'Mirage' is a four-cabin Lagoon 42 in excellent condition. With upgraded 57hp Yanmar diesels, modern Alpi Walnut with Asburgo floor, teak cockpit floor and upgraded fridge freezers, she is a very good example of this very popular Lagoon model.
As one of the most successful Lagoons ever produced, hull #1000 has just left the factory in France. VPLP were given a brief to design a more performance-orientated cruising catamaran, whilst still adhering to the ever-important Lagoon DNA. The rig was moved aft, a more powerful sail plan was introduced and a very easy self-tacking jib was fitted. The end result was a safe, fast and stylish production catamaran.
