I believe we love vintage shopping because…. as I call it “the thrill of the hunt” And today, I went to goodwill, stopped off for a quick lunch & while eating… I was shopping marketplace on my phone & surprisingly, came home with a hand painted sink for my bathroom! Who would think I needed one ….but I love it!!
I can see the light fixture in a foyer or a good size closet.

Brandy, your vintage collection has so much history and charm. I find so much inspiration as you speak about each one, where you would use it and how much you love the pieces. Best way to shop is to purchase items that speak to us and we know they will live in our home, our hearts forever. For that light fixture I'd love to see it in a large walk in closet or in an entryway that is more of a rotunda. The shape of it should live in a space that welcomes you in. Love what you said about the ship art. I have a canvas print of a wooden walkway on the beach into the ocean that appears infinite, with no end in sepia. Now I don't swim and like you I'm afraid of the water but I find the piece comforting, calm and I get lost in the vision like a dream. For that reason, it's one of the only art pieces in my bedroom. Please continue to share more of your antique loves. I love to hear your passion for vintage and antique pieces. My Friend, have you ever thought of opening up your own store?!?! Seriously, you would bring joy to your customers and I will be one of them 🫶🏽🤗🤎

Normally, I would put in the living room. But, thinking out of the box it would use be awesome in the bedroom. I have so many ideas for it. But, on a den also could work.love your videos.

I’m thinking the fixture would look good in an entryway. Love all your finds! I have a vintage lamp stand that has needed a shade for years 😮. Not even sure how to get one to fit 🤷♀️
I could see that light fixture being put in your laundry room when you get your house. I actually have a marble lamp just like yours that my uncle gave me when I first got my new apartment. I recently got a brass bell ornament from CB2.
Brandy, I love all of your finds! I wish I had stores near me where I could find those pieces! One day, if and when I retire, I may have to scout for some stores. I have been able to find vintage pieces online and I love them so much. Also there are many pieces that are replicas of vintage pieces which I purchase and love. Keep showing us all your beautiful pieces. That desk is awesome btw!! Oh the light fixture....screams foyer to me! But I could see it anywhere really. It's a beauty!
Yes, one day you will be able to scout out your favorite vintage stores! I do like to shop online too, especially if I’m looking for something very specific but I think it also keeps me from buying random finds LOL. I would say the brass calligraphy is very Ralph Lauren. I see the beautiful light in the front entryway in a tall ceiling room. Where did the dining table go?
We ended up giving it to a friend that bought a house.
My comment disappeared so I am making it again. If you wanted to hang the light fixture and plug it in, Amazon and Etsy sell old fashioned cloth covered cords. I think that would look pretty cool. Maybe hang it in a corner of the living room? P.S. Where is the yellow pot? Haha I can't wait for you to style it! Thanks for the video!

Love your videos, not sure why I have to subscribe every time I watch one of your videos. I noticed this happened with 2 others I follow. So every time you post I watch and sure enough I’ve been unsubscribed. I’m sure it’s not you, or is it?😆🤷♀️ I’m still going to watch but I’m afraid this might be happening to others and it’s affecting you in some way.
