There seems to be a couple of issues concerning dropping frame rates with this upload, It seems to be on UA-cam's end as the original video file I uploaded plays perfectly. I hope this gets sorted out by them in the next few hours otherwise I don't know what to do? ... re-upload and hope for the best?
There's a couple of other channels, like "My Mechanics" and "Sarah N' Tuned" But I agree, this is a great restoration channel, and I've been subscribed for years now. lol
@@jrand2631 My Mechanics is beyond a 'restoration' channel, though. The lunatic makes his own nuts and bolts - he even made a tool to make a locking nut.
@ I’m just a few steps behind you with my 1987 FZR1000 restoration. I had some really disappointing news on the pistons, head and valves but I’ve got a great machine shop helping out. I can’t wait to hear my engine fire up again…your enthusiasm and excitement are both contagious!!! I can’t wait to get that feeling again. Thanks so much for all the work you put into this channel.
I love that nothing is 'sent out', nothing is 'done by a mate'. Full raw talent from body work, paint, plating, mechanical work, electrical, upholstery... everything. That's as dedicated and raw as can be. 👍
We are very lucky to live in a world where we have people as gifted and as passionate as you are. UA-cam is a better place with you in it. Thank you so much for the continued extremely high-quality content and wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Best wishes from Bournemouth Mark
It isn't boredom watching the wiring loom work, it's empathetic frustration. The headers and exhaust produce a sound that will make you forget it's not a V-Tec.
This is what i love about your projects. You keep them as OEM as possible, and any upgrade you do, is tasteful and subtle. Well done, it looks amazing.
There really aren't enough superlatives to cover your attention to detail, patience, skills and down right hard work you put into every project. You sir are a King amongst men. I doff my cap to you.
What a moment firing up the engine! I think parents get the same feeling when their baby is born, hearing that first cry. Thank you once again for a wonderful video. I read in the newspaper yesterday that Nissan and Honda are having talks on partnering up.
What a mammoth undertaking! Well done as always. Imagine how many hands and machines touched this car at the factory. Then, one motivated guy brings it back from the dead by himself.
I’ve never enjoyed the little things in a restoration video as much as George the vacuum. The steering wheel lined fabulous. Such a great garage sidekick. You have a talent for these videos and restorations. The cadence/pacing is so easy to follow. Will be sad-glad to see this project finished up.
Hello! This is an exceptional restoration where the vehicle is better than when it left the factory! A colossal work of mechanics, bodywork, upholstery! I watched all the episodes of this Honda CRX You are exceptional! Well done and thank you again!
Well that hour passed by in next to no time… mesmerising content of an excellent revitalisation of a Japanese legend. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us next. 👍🏼
What a pleasure to watch. You must be very proud. It's all fantastic but the sound of the engine on start up must be a highlight for you. Well done indeed 👏
Mate!! hats off to you for the wiring loom that would have been a nightmare! Love how those interior panels turned out, excellent workmanship as always!!
This video was awesome as always. I think my favorite part was your expression when you had started it for the first time. That joy can be shared with many who have felt that experience themselves. As always your attention to detail cannot be surpassed. Well done and it sounds tough. What a difference the panels make. I am looking forward to the next video
Superb restoration! Love these models, I had a fair share of Civic and CRX of this era. Best one was a ‘90 Civic vtec EE9. I can still feel and hear all the switches, handles, gears, pedals etc. many years later. Wouldn’t mind to have one at some point again.
Hey! Peggy and I saved this video for Christmas Eve. What a wonderful job. You really do absolutely wonderful work. See you next year. Peggy said thanks for the faceshots!!!
Having watched all your CRX rebuild videos, I'm impressed how well designed and screwed together it is. Modern cars are so often not designed to be easily stripped down or are held together with a multitude of push clips and pins. Fabulous job 👏
The best restoration channel I ever watched , I subscribed so long ago and I never regret that , I learned a lot from u thanks for the explaining what u do. Keep going, simply the best.
Not gonna lie, a little disappointed for not bringing the car back to the booth with the finger trick.. 😂 Man you are such a talented person doing every single part of the work by yourself, it doesn't matter if it's a motorcycle or a car. One of my top 3 channels. God bless you Mate!!
Without a doubt the best restoration videos with the perfect amount of commentary. I’m always impressed by the effort to making sure you capture the right details. Bravo, wonderful work.
So you're not just skilled at restoration, but complicated wiring and high level automotive work as well? The new wiring harnesses was something else. One mistake could have serious consequences yet you didn't flinch. Love your direct and no nonsense approach to your videos and channel. Subscribed!
Merry Xmas to Mr RRC and Family and thanks for keeping me entertained with all your terrific vids. I hope Santa delivers all the tools and parts you need.
What an epic journey. Thank you so much for the added work of filming and editing ON TOP of all that work you did in that bad boy. Bravo, my friend. I hope the CRX gets you something nice for Christmas. You deserve it!
Incredible work, my man even went through the effort to realign the radiator cooling fins - not something I would even think to do! The work you're doing continues to impress and inspire me. One day I'll have a civic hatch to fully restore top to bottom...
Another brilliant video. Quality filming, quality restoration and always interesting. Best channel on you tube. You deserve a knighthood for services to restoration and recycling!! 👍👍
Incredible amount of work! I know you really didn't show much of it, but that wiring conversion/retro-fit must have been a real PITA. Major props on your success with that! The little CRX is really coming back into its own now and looking great. Looking forward to the next episode!
WOW my good friend, your generosity really knows no bounds I've said to to you before but I really cannot begin to explain how much gratitude I have for you and your generosity when it comes to this channel. you really are a star! Cheers 🥃

I thought it was jumping slightly
@@RRCRestoration Yeah, it’s a bit stuttering, but still watchable. Still enjoyed it. Thanks, buddy!
It makes a visual style that is not disturbing. Don't worry about it
@@MTY_garage Yup, I wouldn't worry about it. If you do reupload it, I will gladly rewatch it!
So it wasn't just my semi-sh***y internet.
Still the best restoration channel on UA-cam. Always quality work with no bs
Agreed
My favorite fake restoration nonsense is when they have to clean "rust" off of wood.

I'd love to see the MOT tester going over this. I bet they'd take a couple of hours just gawking at it.
What a great series.
15:40 I think the whole world was cheering!!! Great job! She sounds purrrrfect!
Love it! :)

@@RRCRestoration You do know they make radiator fin brushes that straighten the fins right? lol...

Haha, was funny, "My Summer Car" sounds filling the petrol tank.
I thought I was the only one to notice that!

This restoration is really amazing. Hard to believe that interior is as old as it is. You truly brought it back to new, and then some
Best channel around.
Most attention to detail, nothing short of genius, and no BS. Thank you for letting us watch!
Ive done car audio and security installation since 1988. This really brought back dome great memories.
A perfect end to the week to start the holiday break!
All the best for Xmas and the new year! Hope the channel goes from strength to strength for you!
Thank you so much, I hope you have a very merry Christmas :)
Loving the My Summer Car reference

That motor and exhaust sound epic! Think I might have my doorbell changed to that! 😂
What a mammoth undertaking! Well done as always. Imagine how many hands and machines touched this car at the factory. Then, one motivated guy brings it back from the dead by himself.
Watching this car be restored to better than new has been so satisfying. I'm sad that it's almost over
素晴らしい仕事です。ホンダを愛してくれてありがとう。
I remember when the CRX was common to see on the road. I miss them.
“Yes! You beauty! It still goes!” 😄. Hope I can have the same moment with my car shortly 😬

Absolutely love watching you work your magic. A real craftsman in my eyes, thanks for sharing.
Receiving the same joy watching you put your cars back together as I do my own, yet while you do all the hard and wonderful work 😅 👍👍👍...
The best part is: it's a HONDA, so worth it.
Wow thank you again for your kindness it means so much to me :)
Love seeing a classic Japanese car going back on the road. Nice quality restoration as per usual man!
Outstanding! Thank you for taking us along the ride, it looks phenomenal. Almost done!
What a Hell of a job! I'm enjoying watching all of this. You , sir, have a LOT of patience!
It never gets old seeing the restored hardware installed back on the car
Thoroughly enjoyable channel. Really relaxing watch without all the drama. 👍👍👍
Wow, what an amazing transformation that was

That engine note 🤩
In an age where hyperbole is the norm sadly, i think this is amazing. Your work is outstanding

I can't imagine the satisfaction gained, after all the hard work refurbishing each part, re-assembling the whole thing. Great job!
It certainly is a satisfying process, there are a few jobs i wont ever repeat though like stripping the paint and underseal off of the shell manually.
Ive loved this series the crx is a car I love even though ive never had one and you do such quality work

better than the first day it came from the factory well done mate great job as always
