Thank you so much LDS faith for this amazing song. I love you guys and your light! I went through a long time of feeling frustrated with the LDS faith and had countless negative thoughts. I want to apologize for all the negative thoughts/perceptions I had about this faith and anyone I may have hurt. I truly believe Gaia is a better place with you all here. Even though our beliefs may vary, I still wish to become one with you. May God bless you all =)
I have known the tune "Kingsfold" since childhood, and this hymn sung to that tune is quite compelling. I was baptized and confirmed this past weekend as a new convert to the LDS Church.
My grandfather never returned from World War I. My father said that this hymn gave my grandmother a great deal of comfort. She asked for it to be sung at her funeral.
Mormon and very grateful and very proud to be one! It truly is the Kingdom of God on the earth. I searched high and low, went to and researched every other possible church and spiritual path and finally found the Truth. So happy I did.
When I was younger, I tended to not care for President Monson. He was just an old guy who kept talking about how bad pornography was. Many years, a lot of pain, and a lot of scripture study and enlightenment make it hard to look at him without tearing up now.
This song draws out the beautiful, eternal connection that exists between all living beings throughout all space and time. It is the Mormon temple ceremony in song.
Such a great hymn to remind you how short our time on this planet is. It also contains one of the greatest questions ever. "Do you think that you could ever, throughout all eternity, find out the generation where gods began to be? Or see the grand beginning where space did not extend or view the last creation where gods and matter end?" Out of all 3 of those events I honestly cannot say which event I would love to see more... However if forced to pick one i'd say to view the beginning of our universe. Imagine seeing the spark that set off all of existance...
I agree Morgan, the meaning of this hymn goes deep into the core of the spirit. It is my most favorite hymn. I love this message, I love it, I love it, I love it... :)
When it asks do you think you could ever find out the generation where Gods began to be, or the grand beginning, or the end the implied answer is no. Because there was no beginning and there will never be an end. Like the third verse says “the works of God continue …Improvement and progression have one eternal round” A round or a circle has no beginning or end but keeps going around.
Such a beautiful song. I've been struggling quite a bit lately with my faith; however I feel like there's someone that's still there who loves and cares about me. And that's Jesus Christ.

@@nacht_owl Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I can testify as a fact that our teachings are of Christ. We teach from the Bible as much as we do the inspired words that are contained in the Book of Mormon. Which were inspired directly by God and Christ themselves. You should educate yourself and pray about what you learn before passing judgement on something you do not know.
it truly is! makes me think how little but important we are and how great and vast the universe is which was created by the Supreme Being Who did it to perfect us.
One of the things that I like most about our Church is its humility to say that there are more things we don't have an answer for right now so there's a need for a continuous revelation.
That does it - I don't believe I've ever heard this sung at Sacrament meeting, so next time I am asked to sing a solo, I am singing this song!!! It's beautiful and amazing.
So beautiful. Don't believe any Mormon doctrine, being an Evangelical Christian, but both a grand old English Folk Melody, loving sentiments and beautiful harmony.
“Remember that ofttimes the wisdom of God appears as foolishness to men, but the greatest single lesson we can learn in mortality is that when God speaks and a man obeys, that man will always be right.” ― Thomas S. Monson
Fellow Mormons, don't let the nasty comments despair you. We have always been persecuted and will always be until the second coming. I am content in the knowledge that we have Heavenly Fathers promise that his gospel will not be taken from the earth again, and the work that is being done by the missionaries and in the Holy Temples around the world will continue to go forth until it has filled the entire earth. Nothing they say or do can stop it. Heavenly Father loves the persecutors also, they are his children as well as we. But, in the end every knee will bow, and every tongue confess.
Thank you sister for your testimony. Lot of confused frustrated atheists anti mormons on here youtube that breaks my heart. They seek for physical or theological evidence to prove how right they are. That scares me. Thank you for ur testimony that warmth my heart.
Thank you for your lovely comment, don't be scared darling you are on the right path I will meet you some day in this life or the next. Lots of love from South Georgia.
Thank you sorry I just been bullied and oppressed so long for being Mormon a follower of Christ. That's how I realized I'm in the true gospel: Jesus' people has always wrestled with oppression and social issues like his disciples, Moroni, Mormon, Moses Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and the list goes on.
There is no end to glory; There is no end to love; There is no end to being; There is no death above. There is no end to glory; There is no end to love; There is no end to being; There is no death above.
I'm Jewish convert to LDS I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. I love the Gospel! The peace I feel surpasses understanding. I'm a biochemist, I see Gods amazing beautiful design in all chemistry inorganic and organic.none believers simply lack faith and they are the fools that can't see beyond their own prisons they've treated for themselves.like most bigots, they are blinded by self hate and pride. I pray ppl will seek these things for themselves and find the truth.Jesus is the only way
I'd also like to say that this is a hymn of the church. If you do not believe in the church, I find it particularly rude and not well thought out to come here and attack the church. I for one, came to hear a beautiful song that influences me to feel the Spirit. I'm not including tactful debate, of course, just straight out attacking Mormons and what we believe in.
RealMusician In fact, a lot of the hymns in our hymn book are not necessarily written by members nor expressly for the church; it's no secret, authors and composers are all listed and duly referenced. Example: The text for Beautiful Zion (44) was written by George Gill, an LMS missionary who served in the Cook Islands (my home) and is even in the CICC (Cook Islands Christian Church) song book which pre-dates the LDS hymn book. The tune was originally (and continues to be sung here) in tonic sol-fa notation. The Church endorses wholesome music which amplifies and uplifts the Spirit. Such music can come from many sources, including those outside the Church - as long as the piece or song is compatible with the principles of the Church.
Satan has no power over the righteous. If the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is bad then surely it has no power. And yet so many persecute the church for loving Heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Why persecute people who love God ? Food for thought.
Who persecutes Mormons for loving God. Mormons are questioned because they propagate lies to others without investigating the source of their own doctrines. Mormons do not love the God of the bible they do not love the traditional Jesus Christ, they love Mormon Jesus and Mormon Joseph.
darkroad1 What good is the truth if it hurts others? If you find spiritual truth in any harmful work, you are misled. Try and gain a real testimony. Just because one is a believer in Christ doesn't mean they cannot think for themselves! God gave you and I a brain; let's use it to understand what He wants us to know, not to think of ways to persecute others. I'm not a father myself, but I wouldn't be very happy with my children making propaganda against each other to claim who's right. If one child calls it love, and the other doesn't, it's obviously not love.
tee wolfman Would you kindly explain to me why you think we believe in a different God? Joseph Smith was simply the prophet. We don't worship the prophet. Prophets of old weren't worshiped either, lest the believers were merely confused. Worshiping another person is idolatry before God. Worshiping God is what a disciple of God should do, amongst believing in Him, trusting in Him, serving Him, listening to His word, etc.
***** We have a modern-day prophet for a reason, actually. But we do uphold Joseph Smith as the first prophet of the Church, and as the servant of God through which Christ established the Church, which he established in His earthly ministry, in the latter days. I'll rationalize and tell you that there were still real Christians in other churches brought about by the love of God just as there are fake Christians within the LDS Church that were simply born into it and are ignorant of the word of God. That's why you sometimes have to distinguish believer from religion, because you have to know that every single child of God is unique. Even if a doctrine is a disappointment to God, there could be those who unknowingly uphold that doctrine who REALLY just want to understand God, and that's the thing that makes God happy (although you could still pursue to understand God's doctrine to try to understand His will; that's a big reason for written holy scripture right there). Nonetheless, you must understand that the church that Jesus Christ established during his earthly ministry eventually fell apart. Jesus resurrected and left the earth, His apostles died, the priesthood was taken away, new churches began based on opinion, and multiple translations of the Bible were made. This was an apostasy. And believe it or not, but the reason why the Church exists is to bring the world His truth. The Priesthood was restored, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored, and the Church now has a modern-day prophet who gives the word of the Lord to the world. Along with that, temples were built, hymns were written, churches were built, organization was made in the church, all for the glory of God and to share His Gospel for those who want to know. :)
One of the best moments of my life will be when all truth is revealed and all the bullies, trolls and griefers who go out of their way to judge, abuse and bash on other people for various reasons realise and have full knowledge of what they were actually doing. :) The expressions on their faces will be priceless. That is why we need to love those who hate us. I just wish they would come to realise what it is they are doing. And if they do understand, then I pray for God to show mercy unto them.
As well as modern day revelation, modern day prophets and apostles, as well as the Book of Mormon. There are many things The Lord has blessed us with in this day.
+drummer703 Do you guys still hold to the Adam-God doctrine like Joseph Smith and Brigham Young did, or do you contend that because those teachings are false, that they were false prophets?
***** To deny that God continues to reveal truths to His children in this day is denying God's love and power. If God were to close off the heavens, He would go against His own word. But God is unchanging now and forever
I'm a new LDS I don't know much about the gosple, but I only have to say, that I leard with LDS missionaries that GOD is the only who can give me the right answers about the true and through a Pray God answered that I'm in the right way ! many people can have alot of knowlege about the gosple but God answer our prays through our desire of our heart not becuase the level of knowlege that we have !!, now I'm reading the scriptures and I'm learning many things
Kolob means calf althochdeutsch Kalef and is not a planet and not a single star, but the same as Olam, which means world or universe. The universe is God. If we write the word God and with a T ( = D ) backwards, then gives the name “dog”, but this has nothing to do with the “Dog Star”, close to the Sirius in the constellation Taurus. The word “dog” is an anagram and is equal to the Slavic word “bog” or “Bogh” meaning God in fact.
"Find out the Generation where Gods began to be?" News flash Mormons, there is only one God the gods do not exist. Yahweh has eternally been God and will eternally be God he is the Alpha and Omega. No God was formed before Yahweh and None will be formed after. Joseph Smith changed his story about seeing God the Father and God the Son so many times. The story just God more and more exaggerated as he went along. It took him 20 years to get to the final story of two beings appearing to him.
***** Your Gorden Hinckley said if Smiths account of the first vision was false then the LDS were involved in a fraud. There is no middle ground it is not semantics. Smiths account was a fabrication and the Mormon Church is a fraud.
Wolfman! You stand like a Muslim! "There is but one God; and his name is Allah!" You may choice your belief; let others alone in peace to enjoy their beliefs! Only the insecure attack as the tee wolfman! Why are you so insecure?
tee wolfman Tee wolfman! I have the greatest respect for Pres. Hinckley, but I do not agree with that logic! The brilliance and wonderful poetry of the doctrines of the LDS church is so far ahead of most of Christianity that even if Joseph was not a prophet; he is one of the greatest religions leaders and theological thinkers of all history! Stop your mockery and start thinking!
jeffrey elliott I stand as a Christian and declare what YAHWEH himself declared. You are my witness and the servant whom I have chosen so that you may know and believe me and understand I am He. No God was formed before me and after me there shall be none. I even I am God and there is no other. True Christians believe there is one God Mormons are not Christian but lie to people when they claim to be.
You are right, You and I only have one God. He is Alpha and Omega, He has and always will be our Heavenly Father. No disciple of Christ can deny that. But there is more to eternity than our Heavenly Father. He created us in His image, that we may become like Him. I will use all Bible references to help you see what I know to be true. God is the literal Father of our spirits. Deuteronomy 14:1 "Ye are the children of the Lord your God..." Acts 17:29: " Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God..." And we have the potential to Be like our Father. Matthew 5:48: "Be ye therefore perfect , even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Romans 8:17: "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ..." You have more potential than you think.
I don't care what others think of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But I do care and feel deep sorrow for those who deny the truth. But I do pray for them always. I used to make fun at this church too..I do it because others do it too. But as I took one lesson..it changed my life and the testimony that was born in me has never changed till now. And I am proud to be a Latter-Day Saints.
I know without a doubt the LDS Church is Jesus Christ's very own Church and that we live forever and have lived forever. Through sacred experiences that I can't write here, I know the there is a God, Jesus is the Christ and that life after death is truly only the beginning of a most joyful, happy existence for those who keep the commandments, repent and love the Lord Jesus Christ.
ive died and come back to life, im here to tell you all that this is bullshit. don't buy into it. I was taken to Valhalla where odin resides, not kolob where this god is
If you did then you'd know the truth. You'd know of the spirit prison where you'd abide due to your lack of Faith in God, and who knows, maybe accept the gospel and go to the spirit world. Who knows? :) See you on the flip side. :))
When difficult times came and many people professed faith but did not have its reality, the solution would not be to have the church start over with new apostles and prophets, but for truly godly people to continue basing their teaching and life on the Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:1-17).
Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, a man of character and kindness. I know this because I read, pray and sincerely desire to know the truth. It's a blessing. You can accept it or not. I accept it.
Joseph Smith taught that spirits were not created, and that spirits did not have a beginning because they will not have an end. This goes nicely with the words to "If You Could Hie to Kolob" and teaches me that Kolob is a beautiful metaphor. There is no end to glory; There is no end to love; There is no end to being; There is no death above.
Eph. 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Music can speak to everyone on every level. Without a doubt, this arrangement ranks right up there with O Magnum Mysterium by Victoria. Such beauty and expression with the overtones of heaven.....
HOPIINDIANS I'm a baptist as well and born again as the Lord Jesus is my King, but even though I know this song is not true according to the scripture, I still listen to it bc it is beautiful.
You cannot help when listening to this song and its words of knowing it is truth you are listening to...it almost helps you to feel like you belong somewhere else and this earth is just a small part of your existence. I enjoy this song, it carries me away to another place where there is no pain, sorrow, grief or unhappiness. I want this to be sung at my funeral to give hope to the hearts of others so they will not be sad for me...for I will be simply going home.
Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
wow...beautiful words and music. When I sing this I can feel His Love. I think about what he made to me, I think about eternity. I know that there is no end coz we still live with our families. Im thankful about it...
The central and most powerful idea in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Atonement of our Savior, and the universal Resurrection. The Atonement began on what is now holy ground in the Garden of Gethsemane, then finished by His humiliating subjection to the cross. Because of this, all of us will be resurrected and saved! This is the most basic and important idea in the Mormon religion. I'm thankful for it!
This song is so amazing. I truly feel the spirit when I listen to it. Even those who don't believe in God surely feel something when they hear this song. Close your eyes, listen to the words and the music. Picture in your mind what this song is saying. I can almost hear the angels sing. :)
I figure that faith is powerful enough to lift us away from doubt. The scriptures give us the knowledge we need to understand our Savior, Jesus Christ, including the Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon. That's what they are there for.
Since I listen this Hymn for the first time it took me to feel the glimpse of eternity and the rendering is beautiful. The Spirit can be felt immediately.
My favorite verses of this song are the last ones, where there is no end to anything, and that everything goes on forever. And really, there could be no end to this song. We could write endless verses of things that never end.
Of course us Mormons are not close to perfect. We've made lots of mistakes and confess/admit/repent for our shortcomings regularly. We do strive for perfection by living a clean life, fasting, prayer, reading scripture and following astonishing advice given from our church's leadership. We love ourselves and all others including those leaving derogatory comments as this most beautiful and peaceful song plays.
Come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, salvation is through the only Begotten Son of the Father. The call is universal and applies to all of God's children, whether African, Asian, European, or any other nationality. As the Apostle Paul declared to the Athenians, all of us 'are the offspring of God'. This means to me that we all are sons and daughters of God, so it follows that we can be like Him someday because of the Atonement of Christ. Beautiful song, video and uplifting message.
As I said before, I agree with this scientist/man of faith - Briefly, he said, "God doesn't need a...papyrus scroll to reveal Abraham's thoughts and words to Joseph Smith,...If the only function of the scrolls was to awaken the Prophet to the idea of receiving such inspiration, they would have fulfilled their purpose."-Henry B.Eyring. To me this says that it's not about the scrolls, but the faith of the prophet and the will of God. God can Do Anything, including reveal His word to prophets!
It isn't racism to embrace your race and culture. It isn't racism to learn more about another race and culture. I'm very proud of my ancestors, and interested in other cultures. The Book of Mormon's whole purpose is to bring us all unto the Savior, Jesus Christ, and His main teaching is to love one another.
Speak Kind words to 1 another and treat each other like you yourself would like to be treated. We all have Free Agency and the choices we make determine our happiness in this life and the next.
I have many Mormon friends and they are great example to how to treat people regardless of there religion or beliefs. That is why l don't listen to people who bash and put them down. If Mormons only talk to Mormons they wouldn't have thousands of missionary's around the world talking and teaching strangers. l will not respond to any comment that puts any religion or people down because l feel that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ wants us to unite and not fight.
The focus is to tell everyone that Jesus is the Christ. Knowledge is dead without faith, that's why I approach sacred things like the Word of God with faith. It's all good.
Well, He was speaking of the creation of the world. He was outlining a simple truth that we could never understand at a deeper level on this earth. Just the thought of creation in itself is boggling. Also, what was important to our lives is very clearly written.
The original name of the melody was "Kingsfold". It is composed by Ralph Vaughn Williams, simetime pre 1893, which the oldest protestant hymnal in which I can find it. There are over 40 poems written to it, which are sung by various denominations. It would appear from this that it is one of the most beloved of the melodies in Christianity. Of course Kolob is the most doctrinally deep of all, being part of the fully restored Gospel. It is my favorite.
Watching the white figures, hugging their beloved savior, I love it so much. I can't wait to have that chance, to hug Jesus, and finally get to touch him, even though his presence is large, it feels like he is already here, but I still just can't wait.
Let's not forget, he also discovered "an old Nephite tower" in Missouri, the bones of a giant "white Lamanite" named Zelph, and declared that the "Kinderhook Plates" were ancient records, just as the BOM and BOA had been. Modern archaelogists work an entire lifetime to make a single find, but ol' Joe Smith was stumbling over some of the most remarkable ancient artifacts in the history of the world with every step he took.

Did you won?
Love those last two verses. Beautiful song and presented wonderfully. (:
An understatement and testament of why the Latter-day Saints should be among the humblest of people in the world.

Same. I'm also ex-Mormon and I occasionally criticize the church and its teachings. But if anyone starts attacking my people, I will fight them!
I second this! I will join you in that fight.
You're still a Mormon.
Beautiful but sad at the same time - sad that such great artistic ability can be wasted so to promote absolute bunk.
I love this hymn. It's oddly catchy and it just fosters this feeling of reflective peace and calm.
I just miss the hymns. The only thing that makes me near to heaven.
I really love this song, it inspires me.
seeing Gordon B. Hinkley at 1:46 almost made me cry, he was the best prophet we ever had in the modern church.

I love this song. It is so beautiful. Mormons, you done good on this.
Mormons didn't write it the church doesn't even own the song but i agree it is a beautiful song
W.W. Phelps, am early LDS poet, wrote the lyrics. However, we did not write the music.
well we still don't own the song
I am Christian LDS (aka Mormon) and "PROUD OF IT!!!!
Mormon is not Christianity. It is a heresy of Christianity.

So beautiful. Don't believe any Mormon doctrine, being an Evangelical Christian, but both a grand old English Folk Melody, loving sentiments and beautiful harmony.

I can remember back in the day this hymn was so sacred it would never been heard amongst the gentiles.
What you mentioned reminds me of the standard of truth quote by Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon Still stands after all persecution of the world
Thank you sorry I just been bullied and oppressed so long for being Mormon a follower of Christ. That's how I realized I'm in the true gospel: Jesus' people has always wrestled with oppression and social issues like his disciples, Moroni, Mormon, Moses Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and the list goes on.
so very true.
Beauty at its Best! :)
apparently we can't all just enjoy a good well made song
There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.
There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.
This is a Ralph Vaughn Williams tune that Mormons stole and called their own.
RealMusician No one stole any tune, apparently the church complies with international copy right laws ;)
Personally, I find the doctrine of the fake religion rude and obnoxious, so tough luck really.
TopRobbo1970 What makes it fake?
does anyone know where I can find this arrangement?
If one child calls it love, and the other doesn't, it's obviously not love.
darkroad1 ***** I don't know where the hate in the doctrine is, especially since it includes the Bible. You need to giv me an example from scripture.
tee wolfman Would you kindly explain to me why you think we believe in a different God?
I no longer consider myself a part of this church but this is a beautiful song
One of the best moments of my life will be when all truth is revealed and all the bullies, trolls and griefers who go out of their way to judge, abuse and bash on other people for various reasons realise and have full knowledge of what they were actually doing. :) The expressions on their faces will be priceless. That is why we need to love those who hate us. I just wish they would come to realise what it is they are doing. And if they do understand, then I pray for God to show mercy unto them.
the only thing that brings our church to it's true factor is the priesthood. it is the only thing that makes our church different.
But God is unchanging now and forever
drummer703 I noticed you didn't answer my question at all...
***** Read it again
Mormonism is an outstanding Christian doctrine stemming from the ancient eastern doctrines of Christianity.
Being mormon or Christian is your opinion and I also have a opinion people shouldn't judge church
Actually it stems from Freemasonry as the founder was a master mason
Doubt your doubt before doubt your faith comes from president monson btw
Doubt yourself before you ever doubt the brethren. You have taken an oath to support them, don't question them now.
Look it up. It's Uchtdorf
tee wolfman
Can you site a reliable source?
that's some dumb shit.
I love this hymn, it always brings my mind and spirit at rest..
If we write the word God and with a T ( = D )
backwards, then gives the name “dog”, but this has nothing to do with
the “Dog Star”, close to the Sirius in the constellation Taurus.
The word “dog” is an anagram and is equal to the Slavic word “bog” or “Bogh” meaning God in fact.
mental gymnastics you're pulling there, to make connections.
wew lad
Huh?
Whoa there, Mr. Scholar! Easy now. How many shots did you have before erratically spitting out such nonsense?
"Find out the Generation where Gods began to be?"
News flash Mormons, there is only one God the gods do not exist.
Why are you so insecure?
tee wolfman
Tee wolfman! Stop your mockery and start thinking!
jeffrey elliott
I stand as a Christian and declare what YAHWEH himself declared.
Deuteronomy 14:1 "Ye are the children of the Lord your God..." Acts 17:29: " Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God..."
And we have the potential to Be like our Father.
Matthew 5:48: "Be ye therefore perfect , even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
Romans 8:17: "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ..."
You have more potential than you think.
Hahahahahaha you honestly cannot make this shit up, oh wait... Someone did.
Kevin Stitely GOD.
I was taken to Valhalla where odin resides, not kolob where this god is
+cboneau1994 Really?
+cboneau1994 Not gonna lie, I'd be ok with this, as the Nordic gods were all about honour, glory and noble actions.
If you did then you'd know the truth. You'd know of the spirit prison where you'd abide due to your lack of Faith in God, and who knows, maybe accept the gospel and go to the spirit world. Who knows? :) See you on the flip side. :))
Wow... You do know it's people like you who make us Mormons look like tinfoil hat wielding lunatics??
My favorite hymn!
Notwithstanding all the debate over details, this is one beautiful hymn.
Kolob...I can wait to go there...I miss my father in heaven so much
Whoa, whoa, whoa! We can speak directly to God too. It's called Prayer. No one ever said our Prophet can only speak to God.
Joseph Smith taught that spirits were not created, and that spirits did not have a beginning because they will not have an end. This goes nicely with the words to "If You Could Hie to Kolob" and teaches me that Kolob is a beautiful metaphor.
There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.
Being mormon and hearing this song can be a poweful experience
Such beauty and expression with the overtones of heaven.....
we sang this song in Relief Society today I just love this song it is so beautiful
This is my favorite version of this hymn. Articulation and harmony by both men and women are inspiring. Thank you.
I'm not Mormon but I'm Baptist but this song is very beautiful. It just has a very beautiful sound to it! 💙
HOPIINDIANS I'm a baptist as well and born again as the Lord Jesus is my King, but even though I know this song is not true according to the scripture, I still listen to it bc it is beautiful.
I'm a nonbeliever but a fan of religious music. This one is quite nice.
I love love this song so beautiful it is haha I want it played at my funeral
wow...beautiful words and music.
What a testimony! Bless him!
I love this song. Can't we all just enjoy this song and leave all the hate comments off?
i am also a latter day saint and i am proud to be part of this beautiful church
Child’s prayer and I will be what I believe make me feel the spirit so much, I feel like no matter what Heavenly Father will always love me
Come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, salvation is through the only Begotten Son of the Father.
I have noticed that and it makes me proud. The Church is wonderful to me, and highly misunderstood by bashers.
The arrangement of this song brings tears to my eyes like nobody's business.
this is my favorite mormon song, it always makes me cry
As I said before, I agree with this scientist/man of faith - Briefly, he said,
"God doesn't need a...papyrus scroll to reveal Abraham's thoughts and words to Joseph Smith,...If the only function of the scrolls was to awaken the Prophet to the idea of receiving such inspiration, they would have fulfilled their purpose."-Henry B.Eyring.
To me this says that it's not about the scrolls, but the faith of the prophet and the will of God. God can Do Anything, including reveal His word to prophets!
There is no end to priesthood. There is no end to truth.
I love this hymn. It cheers me up.
It isn't racism to embrace your race and culture. It isn't racism to learn more about another race and culture. I'm very proud of my ancestors, and interested in other cultures. The Book of Mormon's whole purpose is to bring us all unto the Savior, Jesus Christ, and His main teaching is to love one another.
my favorite hymn for a reason
Hymns inspire me.
Speak Kind words to 1 another and treat each other like you yourself would like to be treated. We all have Free Agency and the choices we make determine our happiness in this life and the next.
Awesome!
Just listen to the music. It is rather beautiful. Life is too short for hate.
Thank you for this. My family had a similar experience and our faith in Jesus Christ helped us through.
Where Gods began to be?
Where Gods end?
Before Me there was no God formed,
And there will be none after Me.
- Isaiah 43:10
The focus is to tell everyone that Jesus is the Christ. Knowledge is dead without faith, that's why I approach sacred things like the Word of God with faith. It's all good.
Beautiful and majestic.
Let's not forget, he also discovered "an old Nephite tower" in Missouri, the
bones of a giant "white Lamanite" named Zelph, and declared that the
"Kinderhook Plates" were ancient records, just as the BOM and BOA had been.
Modern archaelogists work an entire lifetime to make a single find, but ol'
Joe Smith was stumbling over some of the most remarkable ancient artifacts in
the history of the world with every step he took.
