O Holy Night Lyrics [Verse 1] O Holy night! The stars are brightly shining It is the night of our dear Savior's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining 'Til He appears and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn Fall on your knees; O hear the Angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born O night, O Holy night, O night divine! [Verse 2] Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming Here come the Wise Men from Orient land The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger In all our trials born to be our friend He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger Behold your King; before Him lowly bend Behold your King; before Him lowly bend [Verse 3] Truly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His Gospel is Peace Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother And in His name, all oppression shall cease Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we Let all within us Praise His Holy name Christ is the Lord; O praise His name forever! Must be one of the most beautiful + moving pieces of music ever written, and the King’s choir version could not be surpassed. I’m having this at my funeral whatever the time of year.
O, sublime beauty of treble and all male voices! King’s College choir is the last hope of traditional English choral music.God, protect this choir from the invasion of political correctness! St John’s College choir Is not what it used to be anymore...
I liked the arrangement and particularly the dialogue between the trebles and the men in the second verse. The quality, purity of tone and intonation of the trebles I found especially remarkable.
This was super. Measured, controlled, beautifully constructed and performed. It's not better or worse than Cleobury's, just different. Time moves on. Let's honour the past, but look forward to the future.

I love hearing the european sound of the singing - slightly rolling R's etc. I have lived in america most of my life but I did hear the Vienna Boy's Choir and I loved the enunciation
I know Mr. Hyde is in general a Bit slower. If you listen to Once in royal... From CfK2019, youll get to know what I mean - that was his first Carol service
I hope you’ll forgive me, but I very much prefer this arrangement compared to the others I’ve heard by them. This sounds clearer, better paced, more in tune, and it feels more divine and perfect. Merry Christmas, friends. And religion or no, be well and safe.
It's Church of England (anglican). They parted company with the Roman Catholics almost 500 years ago in the 1530s. When this chapel was built and the choir founded, they were catholics! They've had getting on for 600 years to become this good!
Why is the west walking away from their Christian route? This is one of the greatest exports.

I agree
I would do it all the time before that so you can enjoy it 🙂. Things that play at your funeral you will never hear.
Like Angels singing. Heavenly voice
Absolutely The same, merry christmas
My best friends and now my favourite Carol, God rest her I miss her but she always loved Christmas
There must be a God up there. And he has sent these angelic voices down to earth. Absolutely brilliant and tear-jerking
I listen to this in every version I find, but I wonder what the original sounded like and who is the original composer/singer 🤔..
This time of the year, when you start dreaming about a better world, better humans, humanity... But there won't be ..
❤Merry Christmas eternal life thru Jesus the Son of GOD! John 3:16,17 ❤

The harmonies around 2:30 are absolutely amazing
The most beautiful Christmas song to put into the voices of a boys choir.
The truest statement 👍🏻🥰
Unsurpassed bliss! Surely this is the sound of Heaven!

Oh holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night
Of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world
In sin and error pining
Till He appeared
cnd the soul felt it's worth
c thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks
c new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh, hear the angel voices
Oh, night divine
Oh, night when Christ was born
Oh, night divine
Oh night, oh night divine
Led by the light of faith serenely beaming
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand
Over by night a star is sweetly gleaming
It came the wisemen from out of the Orient land
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger
In all our trials born to be our friends
Behold your King!
Before the lowly bend!
Behold your King! your King!
Before Him bend.
Truly He taught us
To love one another;
His law is love and
His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break
For the slave is our brother
And in His name
All oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in

Christ is the Lord!! One of the most divine songs in Christianity!
I sorely miss Dr. Cleobury. But I wish the new choirmaster the very best!

Really amazing ❤❤ so peacefull
Dari INDONESIA. ❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏
Sublimi, le voci angeliche dei bambini sono superlative. In questi canti gli adulti devono farsi da parte con i loro vocioni.
I love hearing the european sound of the singing - slightly rolling R's etc. I have lived in america most of my life but I did hear the Vienna Boy's Choir and I loved the enunciation
I’d like to be there and listen the angel’s voices… 🥰 in love ❤️
God I’m telling you is amazing.
Check out the 2017 version, that's really the one!
Gloria in excelsis Deo - always!
I’m from Taiwan and this is the only song I listen to during Christmas season.
Love this version 🥹❤️
Love listening to this, Christmas night, on the TV lights off in the house except for the Christmas tree.
the arrangement was a bit slower compared to the previous versions from Sir Stephen Cleobury but still its good
