I played through Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon five years ago, so I'm excited to play this Luigi's Mansion 3DS remake on my channel too! You may have seen the GameCube version, but this playthrough will feature my impressions, reactions, and commentary throughout the full game of the 3DS version including all ghosts, all boos, all bosses, and the ending! SPOOKY-GOOD GHOST-HUNTING FUN
G-g-ghosts! Time to suck those suckers up because Luigi is back in the first portable version of this spooky classic. After winning a mansion in a contest he didn’t enter, he must beat its many bosses and puzzles. Follow a map on the touchscreen, shine a flashlight, blow fire, shoot water, stun ghosts, and trap them…before Mario is trapped forever! All this ghost-catching tomfoolery pays off! As you suck ‘em up with your Poltergust 3000, you could also rake in millions in hidden, in-game riches for our hard-luck hero. Make sure to search every area using the Game Boy Horror’s map on your touchscreen and activate its Boo Radar to track down every Boo in the mansion or spot ghosts’ weak points. After beating and capturing boss ghosts, you can select their portraits from the gallery to best your own score in tense rematches-a new feature in the Nintendo 3DS version!

What I always liked about Luigi is how overtly terrified he is throughout the game. But he keeps doing little things like humming to himself to keep himself from freaking out. Because he knows Mario is somewhere out there and he's going to rescue him.
Makes every single milestone that much more impressive.
I completely agree. The fact that the underdog has to rise up to the occasion and save the shining bright star is a really traditional way to instill to people, that courage may come from those of whom it is the least expected. First and foremost, from themselves. Luigi is the same as Frodo Baggins or Samwise Gamgee at his core.
I remember watching dark moon as a kid and I would rewatch the episodes every year 💕💕 Luigi’s mansion will always be one of my all time favorite games

I love this remake of the original game, I really like how they changed some things like cutscenes, angles and the looks of each room, it's really detailed. The ghost design looks more high definition too!
Oh my god.. I remember watching your first videos of Luigis mansion YEARS ago. Me and my brother would sit on the floor for hours memorizing your videos and seeing how to pass those really hard levels. I miss those days, been looking for this channel for years!!!! So glad I found it, it brings back memories. I miss my brother, and those times.

When you walk into a dark room in Luigi's Mansion, the first thing you should do is interact with anything that you can interact with. This because Speedy Spirits only show up when found in furniture and stuff, and if you light up the room before finding one, you'll never get another chance to catch it, unless you go back to look for them during the blackout. If you find a Speedy Spirit but fail to catch it, you will never get another chance, even during the blackout.
I love this series so much. Started since the original gamecube version came out. I never regretted getting it (I was about 6 or 7 at the time).
I remember sitting in my cold living room in the winter with the heater on and watching my dad play this game and then finding this after my dad became a douche and loving it and after years I still love it so thanks zack (it was on the GameCube tho not the ds)

Future E Gadd was the Dark Moon version! You could see the monitor with the purple moon pieces behind him!

Well, let me add a bit of layer to that. Yes, Future E. Gadd is the Dark Moon Version, but we must understand that he's the original Luigi's Mansion E. Gadd from 2001, meaning he's far more wiser and intelligent than his remake counterpart. While the remake is done this year, but now the original E. Gadd made a tangent in the original timeline by sending Gooigi back into the past, but his purpose being in the past makes no difference, so it's all fine in the timeline.

I remember when I used to watch your videos all the time, I’m defo rewatching all of them again.
Zach, the blue ghost that you encountered in the first portrait ghost room was a Speedy Spirit. They are ghost that are very fast and when you catch them, they reward you with loads of cash! The reason why I mention it is because when you don’t capture them like you did the first time, they never come back! It’s crucial that you find them all in order to help Ace the game!

This is an excellent game, I like all of the 3 games, I can't pick one but I do kind of prefer 1 and 3 for the portrait ghosts now that I look into it. I like how this game makes you ponder your role though, aside from King Boo or Mr. Tubbs, whatever his name is, it makes you wonder if E Gadd is completely good. He's not necessarily a bad guy but him and by extension Luigi are capturing these ghosts who were people at one point (not to mention a baby, that's dark to imagine) and trapping them in a more limbo than the one they're in now; I mean some of them like Lydia aren't doing anything wrong and are simply just unfortunate victims
I hope you will do a walkthrough of the new Animal Crossing game that comes out next year! Your AC:New Leaf walkthrough had me subscribed and I've been telling my friends about your channel ever since! Keep up the good work Zack!

I enjoy watching another person playing my favorite game. However, I do think Nintendo did spend a lot of time working on animations for the original and did really good. They should've done the same for this one. I do prefer the original as it has a spot in my heart. Will continue watching this tho, to see your reaction as you play!

A lot more. As someon who playe this at gamecube during my childhood I was disappointed with the Dark Moon. It's so much easier and "cute". This one used to give me nightmares (That's what I loved about it)

I also grew up playing the original gamecube version. Best game ever when it comes to a creepy vibe from the series so far. I was slightly disappointed that dark moon didn't have the same creepy vibe as the first game, but I still enjoyed it. Dark moon. Yeah it wasn't as creepy. I prefer this game over dark moon (I love the series to death). Luigi's Mansion scared me when I was younger; and i grew to love it over time more and more. *happy sigh* memories. I can't wait to see Luigi's Mansion 3. 😍
@@AspienGirl not only It wasn't as eerie as the original but It wasn't so complex and detailed. I mean, look at the ghosts from the First game: all If them have unique bios and background. They had a striy, and that's what o really liked in that game, to discover little by little the story If the mansion, while in the Dark Moon u only have generic ghosts. Hope they make the third one more like the First game.

At 34:18 I was so triggered that Zack didn't get the speedy spirit YOU CAN ONLY GET IT ONCE AND IF YOU MISS (Spoiler Alert)IT YOU CAN'T GET IT UNTIL YOU GET THE BLACKOUT oh um it's super important to get lol
Inferno You can only get a speedy spirit during the blackout if you didn’t already activate it. So he’s screwed out of getting it forever which triggers me.
