The Game Over where Luigi looks dead inside (the first game btw) was a beta version and basically you had a certain amount of time to save Mario, and if you failed you would get that screen where Luigi isn't dead, he's just depressed he couldn't save Mario and therefore Nintendo canceled this because it was practically impossible and the screen would scare children.
It’s a little more creepy that he’s depressed. I don’t know why. I feel like they wanted to make it look like he was sad and like a zombie but overdid it a little… for a Nintendo game at least.

Honestly the LM3 Game Over is likely to scare some youngsters. The implications are terrifying. All the heroes are trapped forever with no hope of rescue...
There are other characters that could theoretically rescue them too.
Toadette, Daisy, Rosalina, etc.

@@KT-rp9tx also, luigi's mansion 3 is on a haunted hotel, i don't think any of the canon characters would know about that place. (Watch the first cutscene of the game so you can understand what am i saying.)
@@CHRISCTRD That's true. But if you look at the cutscenes in co-op Gooigi is clearly a character on his own and I don't see him getting trapped anywhere, so he could technically rescue everyone.

One thing I know for certain that Luigi's Mansion 3 did right was the Game Over screen. In the first game, Nintendo COMPLETELY missed the opportunity to put in a SECOND Game Over screen that comes only if you lose the King Boo fight. Dark Moon made it clear from the start that King Boo was back when he shattered the second game's namesake MacGuffin, so the "Trapping Luigi in a painting upon getting a Game Over" should've been in Dark Moon.

That’s because it’s not in the game, it was never a game over screen. It was used in the 2001 E3 trailer if I recall and got mistaken to be a game over screen.

Me and my older brother played Luigi’s Mansion because they still had it (I remember playing it years before) it was fun but the controls were kind of delayed but it was still very fun so if you see one than you got to try it

Luigi's mansion beta I don't find creepy, I just like that his nose seems even bigger than usual.
Luigi's mansion 2 isn't creepy at all, it would have been just as creepy if it said "Game Over".

Make a 3D game where Luigi can beat castlevania enemies through various means
For example
Take the Mummy’s sheets off and blind them with the torch to capture their souls
Head in the room use the rainbow light to bring the soul out and capture it
as for the reaper use the plunger to slam it’s skull into the ground repeatedly until it’s soul comes out
And as for the giant head make it so you have to shoot rocks at it to destroy it and capture their souls
