- This is the biggest barramundi i have ever seen in real life let alone caught! This giant barra is my PB in both the freshwater and the saltwater. Super pumped to have my PB barra caught on film.

People aren't going to like it, but impoundment barra don't count. The only fresh water barra that count are ones that come from natural waterways that swim from their own will. Stocked fish don't count.

Hey mate, Yes i was runinng the 300 Tranx on a shimano Expride rod. Yes i run my Vanfook DT 58F hooks on all my lures, super sharp and very strong.

Yep that net used to seem big but it was a mission to get it in there thats for sure. I was up him, 😂 but he managed in the end. I find out just how hard it is to do solo soon 😉

never fished the Fitzroy. always mondy, big A n PF. first quarter of next year that will be changing n the fitz will be the long term target. knowing u r going through the learning process ur self Deano i have been watching closely over the last few vids. i have to start somewhere so between google earth pro n ur self its a gud start. congrats on the PB man.

Hi dean! When using live sonar an you get a fish to follow the lure. Is it best to pause or keep lure moving once the fish is checking it out? I’m new to the live an sussing it out!
Hey mate, depends if you are fishing for cod or barra! I have found a mix of results with barra, some ate on the pause and the others ran away. With cod i have found they almost always run away on the pause. I think barra if they have followed for a while then they will hit on the pause.

I just keep winding and get slower as i get closer to the boat, finding they will eat at the rod tip which is scary as

Big girl my first barra was salty got of the plane at townsville got a bag of pillys took my sister fishing on the break wall one hour later 105 baz scaryest part was giving my sister the rod while i climed down to land it. Addicted now haha
