Lake Kurwongbah bass think it's winter again?! Gangbanger G2 lure saves the day & catches BIG fish!

What a strange session! After a couple of weeks of edge bites a sudden change in weather and a drop in temperature have tricked the Lake Kurwongbah bass into thinking it's winter again and they've headed for the depths...
After hours of bobbing around with not much to show for my efforts a lure change to the 'Hot Bite Gangbanger G2 Jig' lure saved the session and produced two stunning 40cm bass.

Always nice when on a tough day you pick up a couple of nice fish. Anything 40cm or better at Kurwongbah is a good fish.

it sure is 😉 always good when a session gets turned around, especially with consecutive cracking bites! could've done without that blardy eel though 🤢

I’ve blanked 3 trips in a row and rivers are chocolate brown and topping the banks! 😂

now that does not sound like perfect pike conditions 🤦‍♂️ i was in the uk a couple of weeks ago and yup, when it wasn't freezing it was raining 😲 mate, you should come over here and i'll take you out bass fishing - it's bloody amazing! seriously, these fish hit like a steam train! and the locations are just stunning, bobbing around in a kayak in the sunshine... it's lure fishing heaven 😉
