This is a record of his 20s. He’s emphasizing that he has to live & be a human before he can make art. He’s talking about the beginning, when he was 9. Before he knew what he was doing, only dreaming of where he’s going. That flow represents the rush to get there. The confidence that comes when you don’t know what you don’t know. The imperfections of not knowing how to be a human. Not having a flow, as a rapper or a human. It’s part of his storytelling device. Risky, because if you don’t know him or read his lyrics, you might shut it off and move on. But he’s making the music he wants, the way he wants to. 대박!!

My reaction to finding out that Jino was paying attention to lyrics was so dramatic lol. I'm so so proud. I feel like we got this as a treat and then he's gonna say "Ha ha never again!" and never spoil us like this again. I'm so happy he's taking time to listen to the lyrics for this particular album since it's so message-driven. These three are some of my fave tracks we got on the album. The Erykah Badu collab was the one I was most looking forward to and of course she never dissapoints. All Day reminds me a little of different songs I grew up listening to but with an RM flavour to the vibe. Tablo added a nice colour to the song. Somehow Anderson manages to package the energy he has in real life onto a song. The smile I get when I see him being vibrant, fun and dynamic is the same smile I get listening to Still Life. He breathes so much of his personality into it.

I agree, Sugar and Jhope with RM would have been perfect for that song. BTS members definitely all compliment each other musically . The Rappers get their point delivered without it being depressing and I specifically listen to their message and the vocalist line bring the next level of great music where the meaningful lyrics are still there in the songs but it's much more palatable which may be why the fans love BTS and know the lyrics and sing along and at the same time grooving and dancing along to their music. I believe that certain tracks RM'S on solo album will definitely appeal to the hard core Rappers and RM fans. RM is a brilliant lyricist for BTS. I'm a huge fan of BTS. RM, SUGAR AND JHOPE GOT me interested in Rapping. 💗❤🧡💛💚🤍💙 💜

No, they are trying to do their own thing and shine on their own. Adding other member would take away from it Cox of the solo Stans would ruin it for RM.
Disagree. This is RM's song and album and he's shining very brightly on his own- we don't have to insert the other members everywhere yk, they're all doing their own thing and exploring different styles of music with the artists they want to work with.
I think it was during Tiny Desk concert, he explained meaning behind the song "Yun." Yes, you're right, it's an artist of some type of medium... it was a painter, and Yun is his last name (I had wondered when the tracklist was revealed, what Yun stands for, and now revealed it's the painter's last name). RM said thought a lot about Yun's view and message on "life." They really both are "artists" in their own realm but faces the same thoughts in their career paths about these philosophical existential contemplations. (tried to throw in whatever big words I can throw in... not sure if made sense... hahaha...)

I believe that the reason for BTS success is the vocal line supports the rappers and visa versa. The 3 rappers bring their own individual style to the Rap line. I like Suga's rapping then Jhope brings his own personality into the rapp line. Your right RM too much to say he Needs to edit. Anderson Pakk and RM really compliment each and it's more up beat. All this is from a dedicated fan and is only my opinion. 💜
I love it when fellow ARMY can be objective about BTS's music. They're phenominal but they're also human and it's okay to acknowledge the things they excell at and the things they could improve on. It doesn't make us less ARMY. RM is my bias but even I thought the same thing as Jino in that he could do well to mind how many syllables he tries to fit into a rhyme scheme. He's a stellar rapper, but he'd be even tighter if he made those minor edits. Also I totally agree with you about the reason for BTS success. The vocal line and rappers lean on each other for musical balance. It helps that the members are strong and diverse in style when they rap and sing so it keeps things dynamic.
I´m really having a great time with this Album, not all the time you find an Album which so many great songs together. RM had done such a great job. Each collab is fantastic, RM is showing here the highest level of musician and professional he really is, this is no doubt at all now, if there were any before. ALL DAY with Tablo is such a great fun song with such rythm, great lyrics and perfect rap, my godness, it´s soo good, I really hope RM and Tablo can continue creating great music like this in the future. Also Tablo is so good, maybe better then RM, he has been in the business for so long, he knows his shit (He had a horrible problem a few years ago bc of haters who destroyed his career and even family back then) but he used to be the #1 in all Asia before.

About the too many words in a beat, I just watched the Sang interview, and that is Namjoon's verbal style. Which informs his poetic style. And rap is his poetry.
About coming in too soft when you think the beat should be hard, that point of view comes from your experience as a DJ and exposure to thousands of songs. But isn't the reason BTS and Namjoon have a certain spectacular level of success because they refuse to do it 100% of the way other songs have done it in the past? In other words what sounds off to you is a surprise because it's different. It forces a listener to pay attention in a different way because it's not expected. Isn't that something that works, rather than something that doesn't?
