Hi Anthony. Please watch this where Namjoon explains through his album ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html He did an interview with Zach too. Ms. Badu's kids listen to BTS. So she came to know of them through her kids. Namjoon has sent a LONG letter to persuade her. She didnt have to go through them all. lol. She and the other artists on this album are masters of their craft.
Yun Hyong Keun is the artist who painted the art on the cover photo, one of RM’s favourite artists. This song is based around a quote from him about living as a person before you can be an artist. It is his voice at the beginning and the end.
I just wanted to let you know that RM did a small film where he and the collaborators talk about the tracks. They talk about how the collaboration happened, production, thoughts and behind the scenes stuff. I know you have been doing interview reactions lately (which is so entertaining) so I thought you maybe wanted to check this out too. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html
Speak your truth Anthony!! RM is hip-hop through and through! Please react to Indigo Magazine film where RM speaks about each track and Erykah and other collaborators it's so nice to hear the mutual respect between the artists and the respect they have for Namjoon just gives me goosebumps!
I can tell you really enjoyed the UA-camr's outro at the end of the video. But seriously, "Yun" is a phenomenal song. I was so excited to see RM working with Badu. She's a living legend. I first discovered her music back in grade school and her presence, energy and voice are overwhelmingly enigmatic. You can't help but be drawn to her and her craft. The same goes for RM. They compliment one another VERY well.
Actually her kids are fan of BTS So that's how she get to know about bts and their artistry..!! Also one thing i saw your reaction on wild flower So just wanted to say one thing is that INDIGO actually comes in between blue and purple in shades Blue which actually refers to RM as he said Blue significant to him And purple for Army's
RM said he had to gather the courage to have the nerve to contact a LEGENdary queen to collaborate with him. Could he even have the right to do that? He wrote a letter to her and she responded with a resounding YES.. He couldn't believe she responded. RM wrote this song and had Badu the queen in mind while writing the lyrics. Yun is the name of the artist that RM admires so much, an artist who said that one must experience life (be human) before creating art.
Thank you Anthony; so many reactors not that much younger than yourself have commented that they have never heard of Erykah's music (or, apparently, the 24h upload delay). It's also great to see your hyped reactions to jhope's live performance and genuine excitement over Indigo. There's a huge amount of behind the scenes etc but Tiny Desk Namjoon made me smile so much.
I'm 71 yrs old and yup I'm a big fan of every member of BTS. Love their music. Found BTS during Covid. I've laughed with them and cried over some of their music. They are all amazingly talented men. RM's new album Indigo is one of my favorite albums. Music has no age barrier. I will always be a fan. Love your reaction videos and enjoy your music as well Anthony. Ty for the joy you bring to UA-cam. I might be old in years but that doesn't stop me from enjoying music from all age groups and genders. Music uplifts my soul.
Yun is an Artist, RM loves his works of art. Yun's art is on the cover of RM's album. Go watch Rm's tiny desk where he explains what YUN is about musically. Love love love your reactions
RM's dream he is forbidden to have can also be just live, having a family and loved ones to trust around? Sometimes all members seem to miss that because thats the one thing they had to give up in order to be where they are now. How RM said that beauty only comes with sadness. As if they have to suffer to create good music. And in a way its true. Most fans they have are lonely people or struggle with anything feeling like that. When I was a child i always felt sick when i heard the song Karma Chameleon by Culture Club. Idk why but i actually loved the song. And when i grew up i didint felt sick anymore but until this day i can feel the time of my childhood, i can smell it and see it. That's my childmemory song.
Thank you Anthony!! I appreciate your comments and opinions, especially your comment about the haters that just spew hate...I also agree with you about RM 👍.
Hi Ray! I'm 63 and always loved music . From Frank Sinatra until BTS and almost everything in Rock. If you never listen to Beethoven, try The Simohony n° 5. Tell me later. And RM, he is already a classic from this century. Super good luck, stay healty! Hug
Upload all RM album reaction in youtube please I really love your understanding the music and lyrics. Anthony is becoming funnier day by day like if it's correct
Thankfully there are people like you who understand the meaning of these collaborations rather than just shitting upon RM accusing him of using these artists for his benefit...all the collabs on his album really served their purpose Nd were done in a really planned Nd meaningful manner..there was no clout chasing or easy success motive here...giving exposure to local artists from Korea to showing appreciation to the Rnb queen..only RM can do this...as per his interviews he has been working on this project way back from 2018-19..he even took the initiative to send Erikah Baidu her parts in the song Nd the way he wants it to be sung along with literally 4 pages of his thoughts regarding the vision of the song Nd his request for her to be the part of this song...who shows so much dedication Nd values in today's world were Collab projects roll out more like label deals or exploiting each other's fame.
I think you're spot on with calling RM a scholar of life. I think being the leader of BTS and the introspective nature he has, he ends absorbing the criticism and hate he's gotten like "well if someone has a problem with what I do or how I do it, I'd rather hear the truth than a lie" but a lot of time its just substance less hate and like you said xenophobia so he's been playing with his personas, his different sides in his songs, at times getting lost in the sides of himself that are sad, broken, looking for meaning
Honestly: I agree with EVERYTHING you've said. Like EVERYTHING. By the way I hope you do react to the interview/magazine explaining everything about Indigo (probably best after you've listened to the whole album though 😂)
i love how you genuinely took the time and effort to do these not for the sake of the views, but because you love and respect the music and wanna dig deep the meaning behind these songs.. thats why you're one of my fav reactors! thank you anthony
I think L’etranger is a reference to Albert Camus’ The Stranger which tells the story of a French man living in isolation & doesn’t have much attachment to life, emotionless. He is just sort of living. The overall theme is that the only thing certain is death & all life is meaningless in the end. Regardless of how you live, we all die in the end. It’s been like 15 years since I’ve read it so I don’t remember the whole story.
Deals with mans repsonse in the face of absurdity, a story about a man who accidentally shoots and kills another man and the consequences that go along, the opening sentence is one the most famous from 20th century authors, the murder scene is extremely significant, especially how it happens, as a reader thsts my fav part, its almost as if u can relate to merasault, and in a weird way u justify his actions due to circumstances
This song is beautiful. I feel I could listen to it a lot. I love how it sounds and the meaning. It's also very poetic, as often with RM's lyrics. It's beautiful. I don't find other words to describe it. Of course, RM's and Erikah's voices are just.... so sweet to my ears. And, as you say, it's a discovery too, 'cause I did not know Erikah Badu. But there's a lot of artists I do not know. I'm 34. And I agree with you, it's a young age in perspective of everything that was created before. Our childhood culture is close to those who are 15/25 age old, one of the big differences is that internet wasn't a big thing when we where children, even if some of us had computers at home, internet was VERY limited (at least in France, but I guess it's the same in all Europe) and was far from what it is today, so we only had radio, magazines and TV to discover music. So... discovering music outside what everyone was already listening, you had to put a lot of effort ^^"" but in the end, except for metal music which is not that much popular nowadays, music tastes are not that different.
Wow Anthony I loved how you got into your analogies and the concepts and your explanations you just really did a deep dive into this song. You were so passionate it’s like this song came at the right time for you. Again loved it hearing your analysis was fun for me I enjoyed it please pat yourself on the back good job!!!
There is nothing wrong in saying that bts fans are young.. it's almost true because their songs are or were for the teens or youth..and ARMY itself means Adorable Representative MC for Youth...jhope used to say that they are called bulletproof boys because they protect the youth , the teens and those in twenties from society's prejudices expectations...And now as they grew up, the range of music grew along with them too...but the misconception about BTS that it's just children's music, without realising the depth in their music , the elder people just ignore them.. and there are exceptions ofcourse...those elder people who realised that BTS music could resonate with all , are still their fans.. So to say that people in their teenage and twenties are more into BTS is not wrong or anything to be ashmed of... You keep going Anthony.😌💪
You should definitely watch RM's video Indigo Album Film even if its not a reaction. He explains his entire album, by explaining wach song, why/how/when each song was made, the structure of how he came to have each song in the order it was.
React to RM Indigo Album Magazine Film full video he explained everything one by one It's amazing to see his music work and brain work. MUST SEEE ANTHONY PLEASE IN UA-cam
I think u have to check his album magazin film on bangtantv where he told about how he collaborate with all artists and album making. I hope u check out that. BTW I love ur reaction
Comment j’adore regarder tes vidéos Anthony, j’aime ta sincérité et franchise, un gars qui sais de quoi il parle sans trop baratiner, continue t’es génial 💜
Great comment about the fandoms. There’s enough love to go around. Personally, I found BTS through Black Pink ->Stray Kids->BTS. (Granted, once I found BTS, I was completely engrossed and I have been going down this wormhole for the last 5 months and I see no ending soon! hahahaha).
this is so dumb but I have realized literally just now that *'fore* means before, and that's what joon says in yet to come, it's "we're gonna touch the sky' fore the day we die" as in before not for!!! lmao, okay, now I get it
"f you I'm an idol, yeah yeah I'm an idol" -- your intro reminded me of Awakening :) best song ever. Well, all of them >_< Good morning! (your question got answered so) Oh! there is a behind for all the collabs, the "magazine" on their channel, so let us know if you want spoilers or you'll watch! Totally worth it and it goes in a breeze even if it seems lengthy!
Thank you Anthony for clearly speaking up against racisem ! I am 44 and grew up with Tupac, Biggie, Snoop, BoneThugsHarmoney, Erykkah, EazyE, DrDre etc. I like Kpop so much because I find so much of the OG HipHop Flow in it. I have Kpop Playlist which sound like straight 90´-2000´ finest HipHop, R´n´B, Soul Classics. So I agree 100% RM is HipHop to the core I mean think of Persona... But I feel the same for many others ...
Your comentary about the Erykah Badu feat reminded me about the hate Lisa from Blackpink got when she had braids on the Money video. People hating on her saying culture apropriation. i was like, thats culture apreciation.
A minute you dropped this. 🫶 By the way for the references of his songs and how the inspo came about. Here's the link.💜 🖇️: ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html
If u remember the fiesta rm mentioned hitting a sort of mental block, that hes having a hard time finding things to draw from to create his art, “a true beauty is a true sadness, now you can feel my madness” to me it sounds like hes saying, hes struggling with this concept and its become harder to find things to pull from, but even then he manages to express his sorrow in this situation, its almost like hes one the only people who could do that. He truly is a scholar of life, as he attempts to juggle the life he created
Anthony please don't watch these lyric translation videos they are not correct. It's a literal translation and not what he actually saying/meaning. we are Army's we analyse and understand what they're saying that's why they are Army translater's they post the correct info and give us as in International Army's a heads up like (this means this it's a saying in Korean he means this and it sounds like this) type. I hope you understand what I'm saying. Thanks for always supporting our boys💜
@UCUg3RpFK_IWF1m_9nroz_Uw very true. Doolset is the most trusted in ARMY fandom. And if someone wants more understanding of the songs, just listen to the artist WHO WROTE that song.
RM has released a video with him going into detail about the album/songs, along with the featured artists, producers, etc on there as well: ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html
🤍 this is a great video. And thank you for mentoring people in that it’s OK to give your opinion without tearing someone else’s opinion down. I want people’s opinion I just don’t want their Hostility. Every time you talk about something that you’ve heard there’s a chance that someone else may like it as well so try to do it Anthony said it’s ok to spread the word, not the hate.❄️⛄️❄️
JUSTHIS, DONMALIK, Huh, KHAN, Mckdaddy, Los "마이웨이 (MY WAY) (Prod. RTee)". If you want to watch underground rappers you can watch show “ Show me the money”.
Here is the making of the album. You can check all the artists and their thoughts on this album ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BANGTANTV. Yun is the artist, he is 70 plus years and he is the most admired artist by RM. He is like a teacher to RM. Kim Namjoon also said that besides the artist, Namjoon can also be writen Namyun. Im fortunate enough being born in the 70´s so I was able to listen to amazing artists and went to marvelous concerts.
I'm no going to search Erica Badu on Spotify. I have been into Jazz since I was 14, then Blues, RNB. Latin and the beat goes on. 🎷🎺🎻🎵🎶🪘🎸😎 Knowledge is exactly what you said complicated. I used to think knowledge is power.
According to a survey of ARMY's age, those in their 30s are the most, and those in their 40s and 20s are similarly the second most. Next is teenagers and over 50s.
Literally Who? Y'all not done sneaking in your faves on a bts praise like yeah go listen to him and let this man give RM his flowers jeez! What's wrong with you? "At the top" my ass 😂
That rant at the beginning... I know this is going to be a good reaction 🔥 let's go RM! E: Why did this ARMY choose that pic of Erykah?🤣 She's so beautiful! Some ARMY can't stand seeing BTS w females😂
What are you talking about its RARELY army that creates these lyric videos straight away because it takes away from the streaming. Lotta time these pop up immediately because ppl want clout and views from these groups fanbases. Army has showered her with so much praise like you ppl just get on the internet saying anything.
@@ariesvixen853 yes and those kinda ppl are apart of every fandom and are called delulu for a reason. Your statement seemed like it was the majority out of the millions and it's like nah. They can call themself army cos they like the boys music but ARMY respects anyone who respects the boy. We don't have to claim them and act like they are everyone just because those ones be so loud and delusional. Can't help who supports you but can't ignore the actual millions of sane grown ass fans who dgaf. That's all. 💙
@@jamkutie 🙄😮💨 Anthony is so chill and laid back and hilarious and talks sh¡t and I love his opinions and pov he puts out. Shame on me to assume the ppl who watch him would be of the same likenesses. The part of ARMY I'm use to is a lot like that. Like I said ~ chill 💜🤗 My bad that you're getting so offended over my joke&opinion and a post by ARMY w bad pic of Erykah. I didn't realize I was talking to the part of ARMY who prob took Corden's 15yr old joke seriously too. I haven't come across ppl who throw delulu out of nowhere in a while. Why are you getting so offended though over nothing?

Blue which actually refers to RM as he said Blue significant to him
And purple for Army's
RM is the best...!!!
RM said he had to gather the courage to have the nerve to contact a LEGENdary queen to collaborate with him. Could he even have the right to do that? @UCUg3RpFK_IWF1m_9nroz_Uw very true. Doolset is the most trusted in ARMY fandom. And if someone wants more understanding of the songs, just listen to the artist WHO WROTE that song.
@@jesskb tysm!
PLEASE REACT TO INDIGO ALBUM FILM MAGAZINE. NAMJOON EXPLAINED ALL THE TRACKS
I laughed so hard at the end lol. You could do a reaction to that song it'll be hilarious
RM has released a video with him going into detail about the album/songs, along with the featured artists, producers, etc on there as well: ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html
“Rappers i monkey flip em, with the funky rhythm” 😏
RM The leader of Korea
❤❤❤
Jagaechi really messes up translations. I avoid them now for English translation tbh
💜🔥💜🔥
I like that song
20:02 😶 ☺ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
An artist
JUSTHIS, DONMALIK, Huh, KHAN, Mckdaddy, Los "마이웨이 (MY WAY) (Prod. RTee)". If you want to watch underground rappers you can watch show “ Show me the money”.
30:50 you get the like for this sh** XD
Baduizm straight 🔥
Here is the making of the album. You can check all the artists and their thoughts on this album ua-cam.com/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BANGTANTV. Yun is the artist, he is 70 plus years and he is the most admired artist by RM. He is like a teacher to RM. Kim Namjoon also said that besides the artist, Namjoon can also be writen Namyun. Im fortunate enough being born in the 70´s so I was able to listen to amazing artists and went to marvelous concerts.
30:52 lmao💀💀
Off topic, you live in Belgiam? What city? I love Belgium and my husband and I own a Belgium Brewery in FL.
Agree with you about toxic fans on both sides that keep discredit other groups. Too bad.
OMG that F...........k word explains much
U gon have to show me some yelawolf
Naw not nas, Yun the painter hes quoting, but man does quote nas alot, i feel like these youngins dont catch the nas bars, but i know u do bruddanem ✊

Wrong 60 plus, toddlers to 70 up.
Majority is young
If u dont know tribe! Shame on you! 😊
I think Jay Park is at the top when it comes to freestyle rapping about shit that matters. He's genius, too.
Jay my guy but he aint no namjoon
Literally Who? Y'all not done sneaking in your faves on a bts praise like yeah go listen to him and let this man give RM his flowers jeez! What's wrong with you? "At the top" my ass 😂
@@idontreallycare152 whats wrong with you?
That rant at the beginning... I know this is going to be a good reaction 🔥 let's go RM!
E: Why did this ARMY choose that pic of Erykah?🤣 She's so beautiful! Some ARMY can't stand seeing BTS w females😂
What are you talking about its RARELY army that creates these lyric videos straight away because it takes away from the streaming. Lotta time these pop up immediately because ppl want clout and views from these groups fanbases. Army has showered her with so much praise like you ppl just get on the internet saying anything.
@@jamkutie easy there, just kidding. Kinda 😂
But it has gotten better. Even those types of ARMY you don't like are still ARMY and part of the fandom.
Lmoa.. Anthony went and got everyone all hyped up w his energy. It's contagious 🔥😂
Please do next song on 'All day' (RM's album).
