Think the Stretford End stayed the same ? Use to travel over from Dublin back in the day , loved Old Trafford then , great days great atmosphere . December 1971 .... "United, United, top of the League" !! ..... then we blew it ..... !! The Scoreboard End was being demolished and rebuilt (away went that big old scoreboard with ABCDE etc. half time scores). Does anybody recall how extensive was the Stretford End rebuilding that season ??
