Heavy but boring as hell nowadays the terrible things about metal bands- everyone usually lays down their best material within the 1st 4 albums then labels drama politics et cetera seem to take over I used to love this band they are definitely respected by me and were an influence early on I miss alan and Frank or maybe just the passion for songwriting back then after the end complete I couldn't be bothered with them much glad they didnt pack it in though

Old school death metal, that makes you remember of the golden '80 and '90 years, when Death, Morbid Angel, Pestilence, Obituary themselves, and other bands, released some milestones of death metal. Simple, brutal, classic, evergreen.

Basler Jones ...yup its true ,because their influences are trash metal and black metal...death metal is sub-genre of trash metal and black metal.
Doesn't sound thrashy to me, it sounds like the same groove they always had, no silly blast beats either, like most death metal bands.

Saw Obituary in Houston Back in November, straight 🔥🔥🔥
Obituary is a great band, I love their sound. You can tell who they are the instant the music starts and the riffs are powerful. If I was a monster walking around demolishing everything in site I would want Obituary playing on some mega speakers so loudly that the entire area could hear it during my demolition rampage. No-one sounds like Tardy - he is as distinctive as Ozzy.

I've been a fan of them since Slowly We Rot. It sounds great & gives a fresh & different perspective to what they have been doing all these years. It would be boring to hear them play the same style for the thousandth time.

Love Obituary. Seen them live once in London,Ontario,Canada in 1997 on there,"Back From The Dead" tour. Killer show to, was at the old Embassy Hotel which only held 300 very cramped people lol.

C'mon guys John Tardy's vocal approach is more thrash metal oriented much like Jeff Becerra of Possessed. And Obituary always had this Celtic Frost influenced heavy as fuck midpaced riffing. This song rules.
