Thank you for this useful information.We are arriving 28 November. My hotel is very close to the U2 Markisch Museum Stop.I plan to take the FEX Train, get off at the Aleksandra Platz stop and transfer to U2 here.Is this transfer possible ? (FEX to U2) Thanks from İstanbul .

No, the FEX doesn't stop at Alexanderplatz. You either need to take the Sbahn (via Warschauer Straße) or Ubahn (U5 to Hönow) from Hauptbahnhof.

It depends on you're Destination. The Airport is in the section C ( Berlin suburbs ), Berlin ( without the City - Center is in section B, and the the City - Center is section A. So you can chose for example section C / B ( Airport to Berlin excluding City -Center ) or for all 3 sections ( A B C ).

Yes, but only the first time when you in Berlin. It is from this time on value 24/ 7 on all Public Transport options ( all U, and S - Bahn, all Buses and Trams, Regional -Trains inside Berlin and all BVG Ferrys too ), and it is unlimited until to the end of the Ticket is valideted ( mostly 3 Days )

If you have the printed version, it depends on how many days it's valid. I've twice bought the 6-day version and it is printed with the start and end dates, no need to validate it. Update late 2023: I've been back to Berlin recently and in 2024, and now thec6 day welcome card is like a normal paper ticket and has to be validated before first use. Unfortunately the prices have also risen
