MISTAKE - there IS a lift in station Nádraží Veleslavín, the most central station is one more station on the line - station Můstek - where the line A cross with line B - there is also a lift from both lines to the surface - the Wencelsas square!!!!
@@mohamedelsaid6183 thank you. Yes I always try to make videos when I visit every country I visited. I have others too. I will be going to Japan in November and I will make one too
Thank you so much for this informative video-guide. I am always stressed about finding the right transportation outside the airport since i tend to mess up.
No. Metro is different and separate from bus. They are located in different area. You just need to choose which one you want and find the location of transportation
@@foodloverasian143 Of course you can buy another ticket and use it for metro, but it's waste of money. Just use the same ticket from airport in both, bus + metro.
MISTAKE 2 - there is also bus number 100 that takes you to final station of metro line B (yellow) Zličín (=Zlihcheen) - total time from the airport to same station Můstek - lines A and B is equal!!!!
1. In the beginning, you might want to let the viewer know that the ticket machine have choice of 4 language if you can't read cze! 2. You might want to let the user know that you ONLY put your ticket for time stamp only ONCE for the time period of the ticket, doesn't matter if it is 1 ride or 72 hrs(3days), if you accidently put the ticket in the machine again! you just invalid the ticket and throw away the money!
Thanks for the tips! May I ask, if I buy a 72 hour ticket and I have validated it once at the airport, this means I just have to keep the ticket with me for the next 72 hours and I don't have to validate it again?
Most places accept cards, but not all. There are places to change your money, that are not taking all of your money, e.g. the official one of the czech railways at the station, but you can search for others on the internet. Depending on the conditions of your credit card, some ATMs can be a good option, too. E.g. the ones of komerční banka (KB) - you have to decline the fixed exchange rate for a good result.
Thanks for the informative video. Question: are we suppsoed to validate that same ticket everytime we use public transportation? Like suppose i buy a 72 hour-ticket am I supported to validate it in every station ? Thank you
Sir..I will come to the Prague on September 2023, but I'am still confuse, because it's my first trip going to there. What is the route from the airport to the cvut?
When u get off the bus, make sure to get off at the last stop. That will be the train station and there where you get on to use the train to go to your destinations. Super easy and convenient
Just got back from Krakow, Warsaw and Prauge . Yes-Prague is one town where being 65 and older has a few benefits. ALL of the public transportation (buses, trams, metro, venicular) are all free. And yes-Have photo ID that demonstrates you are part of the greater generation@@moonx-cz
Note re unpaid fare for the 'big piece of luggage' (bicycle or big backpack/suitcase) - its extra CZK 20 with 30min or 90min ticket ('luggage ticket' is a separate one-off ticket). BUT if you have ticket for period of 1D or more, 1 'big piece of luggage' is included and goes for free on any journey. They define 'big piece of luggage' as bigger than max 25×45×70 cm. (smaller than that is free with any ticket, but 3 max) If you have stroller/buggy, it goes free. BUT, if the baby is not inside, then you have to pay for it as 'big piece of luggage' -CZK20:) What is the most interesting- if you have snowboard or skis: it goes for free with ANY ticket-why specifically snowboard/ski are free, no idea:)
@@ccmarcum The 59 trolleybus does not go to the city center. @foodloverasian143 it is 20 czk per item of large luggage. It is on the screen you choose the length of time your ticket lasts. You can be fined if you have a large check on sized suitcase and do not pay 20czk for it. I am pleased you didn't get fined.
@@foodloverasian143 the bus driver doesn't give a damn. He/She just drives the bus/tram/train its his/her job, nothing more. Interesting, but it's rather disappointing that you didn't even bother to read the names of the stations properly. Surely for a video about this specific route giving the station names is sort of important?
