Interesting interview! My experience in seminary from 2008-11 confirmed the observation about going to seminary to "figure things out" rather than for the purpose of becoming a pastor. I'm sure that trend has only increased in previous years.
I wish WSC can establish a campus here in the Philippines. There are men here who have gifts but cannot go to a formal schooling due to financial status.
Including myself, I have come across a number of pastors who have been hurt/mistreated by the congregation they were serving. That's makes it incredibly difficult for the pastor to want to continue in the ministry after he and his family go through such a heart-wrenching experience.
