- The Temptations have had many great singers to come through their lineup over the past 50 years but the duo of Ali-Ollie Woodson and Theo Peoples was one of the best tenor/baritone combinations that recorded for the group. Though they only performed together in the group for about 4 years (1993-1996), they helped the Temptations forge ahead in the 1990s and produced some fantastic tracks along the way.

I am a stone Temptation Fan from way back. This is by far the song that touches me the most. I wish it could be played for all who think they have no hope. We can go to God no matter what we have done in life that was not pleasing to him and his arms are wide open to accept us, Broken Pieces and all. When I am down on myself, I listen to this song to remind myself how much God loves me and you. It touches the depths of my soul. Thank you for posting it.
If there was a baritone deeper than Franklin's, you'd probably have to go to another planet to find it. Amazing.

Today I said good by to and friend that had been in and wheelchair about 19 year this song came to my mine broken pieces by the Temptations. Some of his pieces he could not use but but on the 5-18- 2013 God give them all back to him now he can walk and never got tried take you rest rest in Jesus arm Barry Keith Robinson

Your description could not be more accurate. I agree wholeheartedly. Their talents are/were stunning individually, but in combination they were overwhelming. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform together live only once (Macon, GA 1996), but the For Lovers LP will always be there to remind us of how magical they were. Peoples and Woodson, with McGilberry, were the closest thing to the Classic Five we'll ever see/hear. Thanks for loading, and thanks to God for sending them our way.

Lost my grandson 8.2.2023. He was 38. The first 33 years he was with me a lot. The last 5 his sickness got to be too much and I turned him over to his Mother. It just hurts so bad some days and this is one of them. Lost my beautiful daughter in law 12.13.2022. I feel broken.

this is a beautiful tribute to the temps who have passed on and are so greatly missed!!!! i got to see them twice! i am 63 and saw them in the early 70's with otis singing lead and the supremes opened for them-then again in the late 80's with aliollie singing lead! oh how i loved them all!!!!! thank you for posting this beautiful tribute!!!!! i have to say, david was a bit special and he did some beautiful work when he went solo and of course he is greatly missed!!!! thanks again for post!!!
