Wait so you're telling me that Sektor actually gets WORSE as a cyborg and Cyrax gets significantly better and changes a lot more than Sektor does when he becomes a cyborg, when in the story Sektor WANTS to be the cyborg and Cyrax DOESN'T? This really shows the cycle Cyrax goes through, the tweaks they make to him make either one of the objectively best characters in the game or the absolute worst. I still love him but man he’s the one that you just can’t win inbetween

Imagine you're hiding in a secure safe house, protected by bodyguards and mercs, then cyrax come in and drops a 32-hit combo with a laser net, and blows the building with bombs.

I have always been a sucker for these type of informative videos diving deep into the Meta of characters and their games, this series is very well made and has deff caught my attention, I just subscribed and will be anxious for more content in the future! Good stuff guys!
Cyrax is one of the few characters in UMK3 that can punish jump kicks on block (with air grab). He also has an air grab infinite in the corner that looks funny. His strings are kind of bad (the kick string and bLP ender string have bad gaps).
You didn't mention this explicitly (however its really easy to see in your clips), but MK3 Cyrax has no damage scaling present after throw. They added the damage protection for it in UMK3.
That grab infinite was crazy hard to set up so I never could replicate it in video form :I

I loved human cyrax (and sektor) as a concept. It showed what they were like pre cyberization. I could see why Sektor was in such a hurry , he was clearly lagging behind everyone else. It be cool for both of them to return as DLC but have Cyrax be Human and Sektor be a cyborg (with reverse skins too!).

I love Cyrax, his fighting style mixes a bit of capoeira, and as a Brazilian and a capoeira fighter myself, i find it really awesome

Even though I've never been anywhere near a competitive level player. It was only when you mentioned it here, that it dawned on me how Cyrax weak actually was in MK: DA. All this time I thought I just wasn't good enough with him.
Nah, he straight up sucked really hard, I think MKDA Cyrax is the worst MK character of all time, but cool design though.
I was waiting for this, I have never played cyrax, but this makes me want to try him if I get MK9.

In my time playing MK9 competitively, I have never known Cyrax's net restands when used twice in combo. How insane!
Cyrax is a powerful character relatively easy to play. With reset combos (mk9) you can beat up opponents in a few seconds.

I don't really understand what you're talking about since I've barely played any MK game that was not Shaolin Monks, but hearing you talk about this with such interest and seeing these flashy combos is pretty entertaining

I love the Yellow Robot ninja Cyrax he always visually looked good always cool tragic backstory nice place in the lore even tho recently hasn’t been used as much always is a beast competitively if used wisely combos is god tier with the signature bombs and Green Net of death it’s just broken but has also varied over the years
