Before passing judgement on her sister, i think that people in situations where they're a third-party witness, are in a bit of conflict as to whether or not to report it. Even if she did report it, that may be worst because then the trust is broken between the sisters and that may be the only link out. Ultimately, the sister should be supportive of whatever her sister wants, because in the end, if she doesnt want the help, then no matter what, you can't force it on someone. It could just end up backfiring pushing them away. . So, i dont think it would be fair to shame her sister, because we don't know if anything was even asked of her. If she was asking for help, then that's a different story.

Call the cops. They'll come by and they'll ask her if she needs any help. But what happens after that? if she wants help, she will have to ultimately ask for it. you cant impose what you think is the best thing for someone. One thing that can be done, is tto build a network of people that can help convince her that she has an exit. that she has a way to escape.

I don't condone domestic violence. I been there. He tells me to leave I'm out. The most I stayed in an abusive relationship was 8 months. Females stay with abusers in hopes they'll change. They won't. He did tell her to leave. She should have left. And continued to her friends or family's house and left him.
Anyone in a healthy relationship can see the signs of abuse. My ex used to laugh when people would ask if I had ever hit her or cheated on her, kinda discouraging but it made me feel better than she could laugh at the idea of me being dangerous as opposed to her living in fear

She is definitely terrified , there is high chance he is threatening her and her family , he whispered something terrifying that’s why she backed up , he blamed her for everything and made her confused thinking that if I play along he will change. I have been in such relationship and it’s like death and burning continuously in flames , he choked me in public and told me it’s a joke to tell everyone and lot of other things . I have such similar parents so yeh please save her she is in really abusive relationship and want help
