I️ wonder if Stellantis is going to put Mark in quotes on the brochures, “it’s so satisfying it’s like I’ve been constipated for a week, had a hot fudge sundae, and dropped the biggest stool of my life”. It’s a hell of an endorsement and definitely relatable to every prospective Durango Hellcat buyer.

I just watched 2 jaded, cynical auto journalists giggle like 12 year-olds who just discovered beavis & butthead for 10 minutes straight and it made my Monday. Also, it's a telling endorsement of this Durango.
I like how Dodge still feels American with an unapologetic capital A. I'm German but I love character. Character is romance. I want to have a stupendous big gas guzzling tarmac wrinkling American beast mobile.

Most fun I’ve seen Mark have on a drive-review. It’s awesome that this thing exists...even if for just a little while.

As much as I have to knock about Dodge and their quality issues, they really have appealed to the simian portion of our brains and words cannot explain how much I appreciate them for that.

Man, the Durango is so underrated. I rented an R/T for a long road trip with lots of mixed driving. It’s so fucking good. Comfortable, nimble, quick, spacious, but not too big. Lots of good features. I downright hate most FCA products, but the Durango is a great SUV.
Actually when the 2000-ish Durango RT debuted, they in fact said just that. They were right then too.
And by today’s standards, it was laughably slow, but probably matched this new one’s mpg.
So the spirit of Durango has been pretty consistent I’d say!

Driving the Durango Hellcat is like:
1) Bullying a 5 year old.
2) Taking a dump after being constipated for a week.
There’s nothing more to say really.
And here's me, my whole life up til now, not knowing those 2 things were ever related.
In other words: extremely satisfying
Mark rarely ever laughs in the proper driving portions. Even in the genuine top tier sports cars. This must have been a blast
European car manufacturers: We are going to make this 1.6l engine into 1.2l engine by taking out one cylinder, so we can lower the emission levels.
Japanese car manufacturers: We are going to put a battery and electric motor into this car, so we can lower the emission levels.

I really got a laugh out of Jack trying to go through the facts and vehicles specs and Mark just laughing like a crazy as he hammers it and toyko drifts it. Really enjoyable review!

This was the most fun I’ve had watching a goose video. The pure enjoyment, laughter, shit-eating grins, and watching these guys just lose it like toddlers in a ball pit. I couldn’t help but laugh too.

Outside of some luxury features, this is Mark's car. I saw the thumbnail and thought - this is one Mark is going to love.

I never thought I’d witness pure joy on this channel.
I am a subscriber to this channel for several years and I saw all the videos since then. I can tell you, I have never seen Marc with such a huge smile while driving a car. That's way more telling than anything said in the video. I wish we would have more industry branches which would sell products to end customers that make them this happy by using them. Can you imagine that? Let us remember this episode and learn from it. There is nothing more convincing the buyer to make a purchase than his expectation of instant happiness from using the product.
I was just thinking about how I have never seen Mark hammer past those farm houses at 8:00, and then Jack commented about how Mark was going straight gorilla. Loved it! What a blast to ride along for this one, thanks guys!

This video did me good. Mark is usually so stoic and restrained, barely cracking a smile with his puns and jokes. To see him grinning from ear to ear and laughing like a little kid made me smile. Oh, and I want one of those.

Honestly, this vehicle fits Mark's demeanor just fine.
Picked up one of these in June and we absolutely love it. Nailed the review, it’s not perfect but good luck not smiling while you’re driving it.
I also picked one up last year. You’re exactly correct, so much damn fun it’s crazy. Everyone that gets in mine can’t believe that an SUV can be that fast.

@@S8ER yeah, Im not sure if I would drive it across the county. Haha my wife drives the 18 srt durango. She averages about 13 mpg and I average like 10. Lol obviously we didn’t get them for hood gas mileage.
I know two other people that have the hellcat durangos. And those are literally the only other ones I have seen so far in the road.
@@gfsheetmetalweldingcorp5751 we’ve made several 1,000+ mile trips now. The real downside is seeing them getting stolen now. 😞 Staying at a hotel becomes a sketchy ordeal
@@S8ER i purchased a kill switch for the battery for both mopars we have one for my truck. Goes on battery w remote control. And also switch to hide in car for start button. Now I just have to make time to install them both before my car is missing. Look up on UA-cam. Fairly easy to install both the battery one and the hidden toggle switch.

Performance SUVs are just amazing sleepers. I bought a new X3 M40i in 2019 and it's unnecessarily fast and makes no sense. I love it so much. It's not as fast as this 0-60 but I still love the rocketship SUVs. It's a truly fun sleeper category.
