Awesome find Tyler! 😁👍 Years back I had a '94.5 F350 4x4 5 speed Centurion conversion with the 7.3 Powerstroke. Truck had 400K plus miles. *It was a land yacht!* 🤣 I think you will make a good chunk of change selling this truck. Glad to see Zane was there to help. Enjoyed the video very much. Take care, be safe and happy wrenching 🔧🔩
When you said 1992 I was like "wait what" then I saw the first part of the video description and saw "92 powerstroke swapped" and the puzzle in my head came together
Cluster was most likely installed with the engine, as the 7.3PS cluster is unique. If you paint it make sure to replace the cab mount bushings as they’re clearly shot. S&B silicone ones are pricey, but the best you can get.
That’s what I was thinking unless it started life as an idi turbo diesel, but those were hard to come by. And oh yes. Can’t stand when body lines don’t line up.
@@dash456789 I have personally seen a 1992 7.3 idi with a stock turbo. Very rare though. I had a chance to buy it for $300 but was young and didnt know what it was.
@@tcfinds I’m currently doing that to a 95 F250 Powerstroke I just acquired. It’s somewhat satisfying going back to OEM and making all that work like it’s supposed to

I've always loved those 92-96 and 97 2 and 350 bodystyle Ford trucks!💗💗 if drive the heck out of it! And those dodge wheels actually looked really good on it!👍 my neighbor has a all white 97 4door longed 4x4 f350!
The 90s Ford body style has gotta be my favorite. I’d love to find one of these ol girls in decent shape single cab of course . Or even a good ol Cummins
lol i work on a 92 powerstroke swapped f super duty (basically an f450). It''s a little bit of a special truck though. It has two standard transmissions with a double overdrive. Differential geared at 5.13 and the double overdrive brings it down to a 4.10. It's the ambulance package turned into a truck that will haul anything. It's kind of cool for what it is, but the chassis has 500k miles on the engine 330k. Everything is tired and its time for a new truck. Guy says he's never put a clutch in it with all 500k miles cuz he never slips it so that's kinda cool if it's true.
Just found your channel and I'm loving it! Some really good content. I've got 2 powerstrokes currently. I'm needing to level my 97 CC dually ... I noticed that this one had front blocks on it. Just curious on how they felt? Ive heard conflicting reviews on running them. Really wanna throw a RSK on it but i just need an inch or two to run bigger tires and thats the "Cheap" way out.
The blocks are debatable. These actually didn’t feel too bad but I hardly drove it before I sold it. I would just get a decent set of blocks and you’ll probably be fine. Not much different than these guys running leveling kits in their coil springs. Thanks for tuning in!
My 1500 dodge ram is a 2000 and when I got it the guy told me it had a charging issue he said he was pretty certain was a bad alternator but when you jumpstart the truck it stays running until you turn the key off which told me that the alternator is fine, but it turned out the battery was leaking and it ran down the sides and the i believe it was a ground coming out of the engine side power distribution center fuse box and the cable was almost rotted in two.. replaced that and a decent battery fires right up no problem..
A on those old diesel weather it's a semi truck or pickup truck I always put tranny fluid in the filter housing cause it's a cleaner and a luber just a suggestion
@@tcfinds it's old school all the old school guys use to do it I put tranny fluid in my diesel fuel even if it's red die but I very seldomly see any red die diesel at the pumps in California
that $18,000 truck is now $70,000... In 10 years it will cost a person $115,000.. inflation and never ending printing of money is amazing isn't it? let's print more for other countries
Great find there and runs great too! Minor issues but still overall a great foundation. Cowboy Cadillac right there! Blessings and respect!
Thank you! We will see where it goes

Daaaang pics??? Yeah a buddy just sold a 97 2wd in very fair shape for 14k 😳. I’m still torn, we will see how bad the diagnosis is with my buddy jrod.
I like this dudes videos because of how simple no bunch of fixes just simple fix and start
Thanks I appreciate it, try to keep it simple as I can.
I say fix what needs fixed and enjoy it.
Amen to that

@@tcfinds The IDI-T wasn’t available in ‘92 yet. So most likely that cluster was swapped in with the engine if I was a betting man

Great find, Tyler. That OBS is typical ranch working machine.
Thanks sir. Yes it is, I hope to use it for its full potential.
Keep it! I'd start by ripping out all of the previous owners "crapshow" of wiring.
Oh that’s gonna happen.

Nice! My friends dad had exactly what you described whilst growing up, have a soft spot for them.
Them trucks she indescribable. That truck has history carry on its legacy an history.
I like how they took the time to swap the powerstroke badge over too lol
The took the time to do it, might as well make it right! Lol

Absolute thumbs up! Just found you, great content- I'm hookrd on Ford Powerstrokes! you bet fix it - I would.

I’ll bet that’s true. What a cool truck.
i love obs fords . my dream truck
I'd love to own it
That's a great truck. You should do a part two on it.
Would if I could but I sold it.
fresh oil w hotshots and some clean diesel w additives could clear those injection misses on the cheap
They like to rattle when they have no Fuel! Best diesel motors made thanks to International Harvester
Agreed. My Ford welding truck is the most reliable truck I own. I adore it.

Beefy tires made it look 100 percent better

sounds great, put a bigger turbo on it with some injectors and turn the boost up. Then it will pull whatever.
She’s long gone but I have something even better coming up.
Had 1 with a 460 duel tanks 4 inch lift and 38s was a monster
The 460 is a beast of a motor!
you body work guy is a pro
I'm in love you need to keep it put some gym polls on it😂😂
I’ll find a way to! It needs them

It should be a crime that you only have 1.7k subs
I appreciate that, I give me hope! One year I will make it big.
Gotta save them old trucks im a dodge guy but them old ford's were beasts I wonder if one of those switches was for the fuel pump
You and me both, but I can appreciate any old rig.
@tcfinds exactly the old rigs are better then the new ones I like them all as long as there not new lol
I vote for Keep. Fix her up and enjoy with the fam
Well unfortunately she’s long gone..but I got another one up my sleeve ripe for the picking!
So I got questions I love your videos. But where you get that ford truck from?
Alsobthe dodge wheels look pretty good on it
Yeah they do!
Boy that's good ole fashioned body work try that on a new truck 😂
Better check the tanks for rotted off pick-up screens/feet.
Brake bomber for those wheels
26:42 What's that melody in the background, I really like it.
Just a fun one on my editor, duly noted
This over in pipe creek ?
Why as a matter of fact..
Fix it and keep it as a back up rig
Whatever you do to it , at least make the body lines match up from the bed to the cab
I sent her on her merry way

Careless starting.
Pretty much
I always like to shut the hood all of the way before I go for a drive.

No rear power window option back then.
Gotta love the Chevrolet clearance lights 🤮

I don’t need more 😭

Can't kill them power strokes
Sell brother......
Sold!
Will never kill a 7.3 mines 481,000 still performs like new
That’s impressive!
I like that shirt hahaha
Hey can you help me find a truck like that
There was no 98 powerstroke & the powerstroke didn't come out til 94½, up til 94 they had the idi
That's a factory CD changer. Not a 8 track player.
Typical Ford, just will not die.
Looks like it’s been 7 months with no updates. If you still have it but are considering selling it I’m in Dallas and would be interested in it.
She’s sold unfortunately but as of today I picked up a couple rigs that are VERY similar
My 94 IDI has 288k miles haha
Fresh! Wait and see a couple idis I snagged this week
@tcfinds I can't wait also will there be any more videos on this truck
I didn’t know ford had a good side
Just one lol
Oh yea
Even though the Dodge Wheels makes a truck look a lot better
That’s the truth. Always been a fan of this style dodge wheel.
😊👍
92 powerstroke? I'm sure that's a 7.3 idi with a ats turbo kit installed.
nvm
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👼👼🙏🙏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Id fix it
Not like the 1992 Cummins or 90 -89 not happening 12v all the way
Id takenit and have the wheel fixed

NEVER put lift blocks in the FRONT!!!!!!
BAAAAADDDDD!!!!
