Fun fact: the wedding photos with the bouquet were taken days after the wedding, which is why there is only Elizabeth and Philip. The original bouquet vanished on the wedding day, so Elizabeth is empty-handed in all the group photos. And no, it had not be laid on the tomb of the unknown warrior. Why would she do that before the photo shoot? Royal weddings since then have always had two bouquets made, just in case.
It's interesting that the Queen swept away protocol in the 1960s willingly for Sir Winston Churchills family to arrive last at his funeral as a sign of respect for the great statesman, but failed to realize the standing and affection the world had for Princess Diana in 1997 at her death. When it came time for The Queens funeral it was dignified and absolutely amazing befitting a great Queen of England
