When I was little, our family had a lump of coal that got passed around to different family members every year! haha it started a long time ago with my dad or one of his siblings. And then it became a tradition to pick a person to give coal to, and the person with the coal previously got to pick. It was fun :)
I went to Lush yesterday Elle and bought everything in their Christmas range, You seriously have to get So White Bath bomb! It is a little white ball with shavings of bubble bar slices in it which makes lots of bubbles. It smells amazing!

i live in the U.S, but i am from Europe. one of our Christmas tradtitions is that we open our presents on Christmas Eve. my family goes up to a room and sings songs, while the "angels" (really my dad haha) delivers the gifts. so yeah. a pretty unique tradition! i get my presents a day earier than the rest of the country! haha =]
Hi Elle! I live in Holland in Europe. We celebrate two holidays; on the 5th of December we celebrate Sint Nicolaas or as we say is Sinterklaas. Little children (approximately until they're 7 or 8 years old) 'believe' that Sinterklaas exists, and that he comes to Holland from Spain (long, long story haha) with a steam boat in the middle of November.
I bought the Gnome Name Bubble bar too, and here in Germany it's called "Knecht Ruprecht" which I think means 'santa's little helper'! haven't used it yet but I'm soooo excited about the smell!
In Germany, we get our stockings on Dezember 6th. The Nikolaus brings them and they contain sweets and fruits and in my family something small non edible (as kids we got little books, last year I got Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature travel sized shower gel in five different scents ) on the 24th my family goes to church, where kids re-enact the Christmas story and then we eat really fancy... and then we open presents. On the 25 and 26 we visit my grandparents
If you like those, try the sparkly red bubble bar (it's called Holiday Bubble Bar on the website)! It's amazing! BTW I finally went to my first Lush store and they askedf how I knew about Lush since I was so excited to finally be in one, and I told them I found them from watching makeup videos on UA-cam (it's because of you I tried them in the first place!). Congrats on having them feature you!
Every Christmas Eve. we go to my grandma and grandpa's house and we open presents from them and my aunt and uncle. We have all this food and its amazing. This year my mom is having a "Mexican Food Fiesta" she makes the food every year. On Christmas morning my dad usually has to work so I wake up my brother and we open presents from our parents and Santa!!! =)
The christmas pickle. you hide it on the tree and the first person to find it gets a small extra present (its and ornament pickle) and there are awesome santa christmas shower jellies from lush too!!!
Here, in Sweden, we celebrate on Christmas eve. We eat ham and stuff and then we watch donald duck at 3 pm. Almost everybody in Sweden watches that show and it's almost the same every year. Then Santa comes with our presents. We always spend christmas with our grandparents and my uncle and cousin.
In Estonia my family celebrates Christmas on 24. december. We like eat blood sausages, roast pork, mandarins/tangerines, gingerbreads, boiled potatoes and a lot of other stuff. Then we kind of go to another room or sth like that and after that there are presents under the decorated fir-tree and then we just open them. In Estonian the Santa Claus is called "jõuluvana" and gnomes are called "päkapikud". MERRY UPCOMING CHRISTMAS!!!
In Poland we start to celebrate Christmas on 24th of December. After a whole day of preparation we start our ceremonial supper when the first star appears on the sky :) We eat beetroot our mushroom soup, fried fish- carp, especially prepared cabage.. the list is long cause generally there should be 12dishes like 12apostles. After that children go to another room cause the little Jesus comes with the presents and puts them under the decorated tree. Tthen we usually sing carolls :)
In my country we open our presents on Christmas Eve. But before that we have christmas supper and it is always vegetarian (that's the tradition - meat we can eat on next day). We start feast with appearance of the first star on the sky (in remembrance of the Star of Bethlehem). We also have one empty place setting (symbolically left at the table for the Baby Jesus or for a wanderer who may be in need) The meal begins with the breaking of the opłatek (look like Roman Catholic unleavened Host) :)
Im from Australia and now lush is TOT on my chritmas list!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want the gift package with the Fairy Tale Scrub (SO CUTE) and the snow fairy shampoo gel! im so excited now :)

Ohhh and I forgot! In Poland we also celebrate 6th of December as a Santa Claus Day which is called Mikołajki :) That's the day when Santa brings us presents ;D Wish You wonderful and warm Christmas Elle!!
In Germany the Gnome from Lush is named Knecht Ruprecht. And I think most countries in Europa (except United Kingdom) open their presents on 24th of December. In the evening or after church.
In Denmark christmas is celebrated the 24th. of December. Cooking dinner all day.. at 3 pm kids watch the disney christmas show on tv.. before dinner some people like to go to church. After dinner we danse around the tree and sing and then open all the presents:-) santa claus is called Julemand (jul=christmas , mand=man) Merry Christmas=Glædelig Jul
So I had never noticed LUSH before and today when I was shopping I found one in the Macy's at my mall in Columbus!!! I'm so glad I watch your videos or I would never have stopped there!! :)
In Sweden we celebrate christmas the 24th of December. When we get up in the morning, the "kids" get something little like a book. Then we eat all day, exept from 15.00 when some watch Kalle Anka. (without a doubt one of the biggest traditions in sweden.) Then at night we get to open our presents. It's a very slow process, and I used to hate it when I was a kid... Not opening the presents, but waiting the entire day. Santa in swedish is "Jultomte(n)", only "tomte" means little gray people. :P
Eeee! Lush! So so christmasy and so so exciting :) I want to eat their products they're so yummy! I'm applying for a job there! I'm in the UK and our traditions are pretty much the same as in America! I loveee you and your sister, I hope you have a magical Christmas with your family :) x

We (in Holland) celebrate two holidays in December! - Sinterklaas (Sint Nicolaas) on the 5th of December, little children believe that he excists. He'll get to Holland from Spain in the middle of November (well, not really of course, but that's what they believe) and give presents in childrens' shoes over the night. On the 5th of Dec. children get a whole bag of presents. If you want to know more about it, google! Because I haven't got enough words here, haha. - Christmas with presents Xxx
I live in Denmark and here santa is called "julemand" :) "jule" = christmas and "mand" = man :) We get presents on each sundag, the 4 sundays before christmas and then all the christmasgifts on december 24th after eating duck with "brown papatoes" (sugarroasted small patatoes" :) Merry Christmas :)
In Iceland, we have 13 Santa clauses. Kids put their shoe in their window, and one Santa comes each night from December 11 until the 24th. That day is Christmas day, and we eat together and open presents. It starts at 6. And kids have to wait for the dinner to be over and everything to be clean until they can jump into presents. They used to have Lush in Iceland, but its gone :( I miss that store.
Hi Elle, I'm from Hungary. We have Mikulás instead of Santa Claus, and he comes at night between the 5th and the 6th of December. You have to clean your boots and put them on the windowsill and if you've been a good kid, Mikulás will put presents in them. But if you've been naughty you might just get sticks. Christmas Eve is on the 24th, which is when we get presents under the Christmas Tree. Jézuska (Little Jesus) brings the presents. The 25th & 26th are the 2nd and 3rd days of Christmas.
In Russia we celebrate New Years as our holiday. The traditions are pretty much all the same. We have a tree that gets decorated and presents and a Santa Clause. Santa is called Ded Maroz. i live here in america and i celebrate hanukah but i also celebrate New Years and get presents on both holidays(:
Hi Elle... I'm half Austrian, half Dutch. So in Holland we celebrate "Sinterklaas" (haha, get the connexion with "Santa Claus") on the 6th of December. He visits the houses at night, while riding on the roof of the houses on a horse (I know, it's crazy) and he puts little gifts in your shoe that waits there in front of the fire place hahaha... but thats only for small children. We scare them by telling them they will be put in a bag, and dragged to Spain. Where Sinterklaas comes from.
I really want to try the snow fairy casue i love cotton candy scents...but my all time favorite is the sexy peel!! I hope you get to feeling better, i hate getting sick around the holidays!!
I can't wait to try all of these and give them as gifts! Thanks for the breakdown on how to use && what they do too!!! As always keep up the good works && feel better!!! =)

Oh it's so much fun to read these comments about Christmas in other countries! I didn't know that the Czechs have this same thing about little or baby Jesus as us Hungarians:) (Btw in my prev. comment I meant the 1st and 2nd day of Christmas, not the 2nd and the 3rd.) And I love these Lush goodies too, I got some for my birthday in October, now I think I'm gonna buy some for Christmas.
hi elle! I live in Honduras but I think that we have similar holyday traditions! like eating turkey and jam and opening presents but we open them at midnight!
I'm from germany and we celebrate in the night/evening at the 24.dec...our santa claus is called "weihnachtsmann."..we also celebrate at the 6.dec...all kids have to clean their boots and leave them in front of the door or under a fireplace and than the "nikolaus" put some stuff in there at night ...
In Finland, where Santa actually lives in Lapland, we call him Joulupukki :)) We don't exactly give him anything special, but the presents are still always from Santa :DD
i know in europe..germany especially on the night of dec 5(im pretty sure its the 5th..sorry if im worng people) a child puts a boot in front of their door and st nicholaus comes and puts one little present in the hoe along with some candies. its a tradition my family does..im half germa. but ys i agree is neat how many different ways people can celebrate one holiday
i went into lush for the first time this past weekend and i fell in love!!! i can't wait to actually buy some of their goodies!! thanks for the review elle! feel better!

I was thinking about skipping Cinders but the way you describe it makes it sound soooooo good. We don't have a LUSH nearby but theres one where we're having lunch for a trip for law class so I'm going to sneak off to get my mom some Chistmas gifts - definitely think that I'm going to have to get myself some stuff, too, after this vid!
In Sweden that no-name-thing is called "Tomteskum", which means "santa foam". Tomteskum is a popular christmas candy here. you can google a picture if you want to. :) They are shaped like little pink santas. They are yummi :*

In Finland, where Santa actually lives in Lapland, we call him Joulupukki :)) We don't exactly give him anything special, but the presents are still always from Santa :DD
i know in europe..germany especially
on the night of dec 5(im pretty sure its the 5th..sorry if im worng people)
a child puts a boot in front of their door and st nicholaus comes and puts one little present in the hoe along with some candies.
its a tradition my family does..im half germa.
but ys i agree is neat how many different ways people can celebrate one holiday
The mouse one is super cute! I think i'll get that one!
i went into lush for the first time this past weekend and i fell in love!!! i can't wait to actually buy some of their goodies!! thanks for the review elle! feel better!
Seriously i want that yellow thingy that smells like cinnamon! I LOVE cinnamon! My friend bought cinnamon pastilles at Victoria Secrets for me when she was in the US a couple years ago! Looooved them! cinnamon gum, tea, pastilles - anything cinnamon!

They are yummi :*
hahaha I love how you start smelling realizing you can't smell :) and when you didn't do it you said "not that I could smell it..." it was sooo funny xD hope u get better soon!
