Hey JMT, I learned something from your channel. Although a small thing and doesn't require any skills, the importance of clean filters. Our HVAC at the church building kept over loading the breaker as soon as the air handler blower fan would engage. I checked all the filters and every filter had been in there since 2019. I changed them all and viola, the units work fine now. Our air handler distributes for two condensers. It saved us from having to call a company for a service call and that is a beautiful thing!
Church sanctuary filters should be changed at least every six months, depending on room usage. Our church uses 4" think filters and we can use up to MERV 13.
Thank you for correcting the rubout bushing. You restore my faith in at least one tech... You. Doing it right is so very important in a business. You may go negative in a job because of other people's messes, but you should be in it for the long haul and your business will grow. I do understand there is a balance, and some customers do not care, but too many times, a company is approaching things the wrong way. They try to make huge profits on every job. Again, balance, but being super reliable (always on time) and perform your work as a craftsman, you would be surprised about word of mouth and growing the business. Also, sometimes a before and after photo now that everyone has a cell phone, helps. Best!
I knew the thermostat sensor was off so it best to change the thermostat itself as it comes with the sensor. For these types of systems, I find it better to change the thermostat with the solenoid coil as they work together. It avoids callbacks. I always recomened it from now on. Thanks for watching brother! 🤙🔧⚡️🇺🇸

👍💪❄️🇺🇸 great vid. Quick question was the solenoid coil bad or u just changed with tstat?
I think he said he changes them with the new thermostat. That way you don't have to worry about call backs.
