IF we get KR's recent event, you'll get a full set of Ancient gear at 1490 with a free chest included in the event so there's no need to do brelshaza normal to get that gear.****
Returning player, gone for over a year. Played for 2 days, realizes the reasons why I left in the first place. Same grind running the treadmill dailies and chaos dungeons. Its more tough now for returning players because everyone is doing legion raids and no que for abyss raids or dungeons. Cant even play to enjoy the new content story because I heard your gear lvl needs to be 1445. As a hardcore solo gamer, this also sucks as well. No guild, no group and Solo content is severely lacking in Lost Ark. I may just play Breaker for kicks and giggles otherwise dont think i'll be coming back.
As a new player, do you have any tips on what to buy for the current event? Still in story mode but don't want to miss out on anything I may need in the future
Hey man! It’s really easy to fomo in this game and not want to miss anything, but there will ALWAYS be events going on for materials/books/etc. The very unique event is the golden frog but you need a good amount of gold for that and you have so many other important things that you need to spend gold on at this point in the game (when you get done with the story and start doing weekly raids/etc to actually earn gold). You should come to my discord because we have a lot of people there including myself that would love to help you along the journey with any questions you have. You’re bound to have a LOT over time. Some of the best things to buy though if you get some coins to buy them in the anniversary event shop are the cards packs, the legendary card packs (on the second page), and the honing book chests, those are going to be super valuable in the future. Of course any extra materials you can buy are also good.

Probably going for a Glaivier with the even as my "Main DPS class" (I want to have one Main dps class since i normally play supports just to have one of each type and my supports are already juiced). You also played a huge factor in terms of choosing what DPS class to build and i decided on Glaivier in honor of you

I’m going to go Eso, I typically don’t enjoy higher apm “spammy” builds without a set rotation. Surge is an exception because while it is pretty high APM, you generally have rotation through building stacks, etc.

I'm having a hard time deciding on which character to use the pass, so it would be awesome if we actually get 2 "paths" I'm between using it on a 1580 or a 1540, but many people say that it would be better to use it on a brand new character. I guess I'll just wait and see what we'll get and decide haha

If it's like the last event we got, then I'm planning on making breaker and levelling to 1540..then do a hard push to 1580 like i did with soul eater (I used the Soul Eater pass on my Deadeye). The theamine event I'm planning on activating on my arcana, as I really enjoy playing my emperor (currently 1550 atm)
It's so much fun!! I enjoy high apm classes as I'm currently playing Emperor, WInd Fury, FI WD, Pistoleer as part of my top 6. I also have a LC SS which is what I use for my lazy class.
I'm making a breaker, the only real problems are the shards i have been saving up all my bounds shards and im up to 1m idk where i will get the rest, im guessing the event as u said will give me 500k but the rest ... well idk i hope the giga juiced event comes in clutch so i dont have to spend my gold on buying shards.
They should release Breaker now on March 6 because how is it possible that it comes out on the 13th in China and we have to wait until the 20th, I don't understand why the delay

Also, as I recall, the mats needed to hone are also reduced by a large margin when the event is activated on a character. Not sure you calculated that into it or not.

When you craft your brel gear (ancient gear, that "gold, shiny" gear), you''ll transfer your relic gear (the dark orange gear) and that 1490 gear, will automatically become 1510 when you transfer from relic to ancient.
For this event, I want to put it all on my main, if not I will go down my top 6 in order to put the pass/event on my highest item level possible. The game is just brutal to start a new character and I can’t do it again until the verticals progression hell is fixed/reset.
That's what's smart. They want ppl to always make the new op character and swipe them to the newest content for money. Korean players were swiping near $1000 to get breaker to echidna lol

Hoping i will find some special honor leapstone chest and find inside Limited Time Gold Event Shop Token. So i can use these tokens before event ends and ofc i already have Honor Shards ? You can make him early but since you can’t finish the class selection and choose breaker, I don’t think you can put anything in his inventory. I’ve actually never tried though.
dont hone in one go, or u will waste the mats from event (this is something that happen to me, waste some mats when claim the event 😂😂). like hone weapon to 15, when armor still 12

my main is sorc and i wanna swap main. cause of current situation of sorc. But i literally stuck between; db, gl, souleater and sharpshooter. I'm sick of gatekepting with sorc and this event will be good for me. Any idea which class should i pick. I wanna find party easily and sometimes wanna see myself at mvp screen.
DB is pretty hard/ can be annoying to fast reclear content but if u want to see fat surges go for that. Other than that, souleater is pretty busted and will probably stay busted for awhile + even if it gets nerfed will still be above the average classes. GL is nice since u are auto accepted in any party and red sees okay numbers. Sharpshooter ds pumps but I’d say the other 2 do more but they aren’t ranged so up to your preference. I heavily recommend souleater, which imo, is the perfect class design.
Yesterday i complete LOS30 !! And im playing for 6-7month !! And totally f2p (not even bought card with blue crystal) .You youtubers told me its super hard and take 2 years !! Am i super lucky or you guys hype it to the moon ?! Lol
If you didn't buy card packs, and didn't do abyssal dungeon runs every week, yes that's extremely fast. But even then, it shouldn't take 6 months to get LOS 30, this system still needs some work for sure.

Not yet!! I’m assuming it’s going to be 3/20, after the server merges on 3/6 and 3/13. We could be surprised though and get it sooner :)

What iLV do you park your Wardancer at this point ? Can we create a new character at 0 iLV to start collecting the frog mats now ?
New character is fine for getting rest bar, frog mats are roster bound.
