But, if there is no God, then you and I are just pond-scum evolved over millions of years, and it really doesn't matter what we do, good or evil, there is no significance to our accidental existence. But we can feel that there is something more. I can feel that you and I have a purpose. How could accidentally, chance-evolved pond-scum have a purpose, meaning or be special? It couldn't... For example, according to you, God knows what I’m going to do next year! So next year I may come to a place in life where I think I can go left or right. If a decision that I think I’m making in the future is known by a God then all of our lives are movies that were already written and doesn’t have meaning because it’s already determined. I gave myself to Christ several months ago and have been recently reading the Bible and listening to stories and discussions from it to learn more. I really enjoy your story telling and how Im shocked at the results of some. Ive heard stories and names from the Bible like everyone else but never actually sat and read it so it’s completely new to me. When I found out he actually fought God and won I was shocked. When you described him fighting him I was so excited to realize who it was. The fact God has taken human form twice so far shows me how he loved his people enough to guide them in life like you guide your children. The miraculous birth of Isaac came after Zeus, Hermes, and Poseidon visited Abraham and Sarah. Sarah laughed when she saw them pissing on a calf's hide. Some claim that Poseidon is the real father of Isaac. Zeus and Hermes went on to visit Lot (Philemon) and his wife (Baucis).

The story of Jacob and Esau is simply to explain that there are two paths to ascension either internal work by wining over the deception within like Jacob or enduring deceit by reaching forgiveness after suffering like Esau !! Heavenly Father is never wrong, HE knows exactly what he's doing. There was absolutely nothing wrong in this case. He knows what's in our hearts. He knew exactly who was Esau and who was Jacob. Therefore he made his decision.

Strange Jacob catches no flak for refusing his starving brother sustenance without a ludacris payment. One could almost be forgiven for thinking this type of fierce dog-eat-dog business ethic is both biblical and encouraged.

Stop praying to Mary, she was a human used of God like many other humans. No where in The Bible does it say that God needs any help from dead humans, listening to prayers. You should pray to God, in Jesus' name, because only because of what Jesus did on the cross, are we even able to speak to God. Even Jesus, never said pray to my mother, or worship my mother. When Jesus was teaching and His mother and brothers came to talk to Him, He didn't even go to them, He said, Who are my mother and my brethren, and looking at the crowd He said, behold my mother and my brethren. You should not have any graven images that you carry on your body, or bow down in front of, including candles with images on them. You don't need to go to a man in a booth to ask him what you need to be forgiven. God does not need help, especially from humans. Pray to God, in Jesus' name. Ask God for forgiveness and give Him thanks. Don't pray to saints or any other dead humans. Don't reverence humans on this Earth, like the pope. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all you need.

Jacob didn’t tricked Esau into selling his birthright, Esau despised his birthright, this shows Esau’s character. Jacob deceived Isaac and stole Esau’s blessing, the wealth that Esau actually was after. Birthright and blessing are two different things.

I remember differently, didn't Jacob's mom dress Jacob with a sheep's cloth to appear as if he was his brother, because his father was blind at the time and blessed the wrong brother due to the mother's deceit? I am a Christian just making sure we are not changing the truth, if I am wrong than I apologize.

I subsequently asked a follow up question "Was their father not blind at the time" Yes, you are correct. I apologize for any confusion in my previous response. Just this past weekend while listening to a sermon I kept thinking I can't wait to meet him one day. Oh the joy... I'm also trying my best to learn about the geography as well. God was waitin for the right moment to bring me back to full health,

recollecting on all the dark thoughts ,youda thought i commited treason,

this is what I do I paint a picture with my perspective,
just to give it back to you all so you can find it effective,
knowing that lifes a struggle but only the strong survive,
should give you more then enough reason to get up and strive to the point of nothing but success,
doubt may creep up but only the faithful are blessed,
this type of motivation can only inspire those who've been through,
the types of pain and sorrow from a broken heart that needs to be branded anew,
so I'm glued to the messege like its God sent for you all to hear,
the truth behind the misery that surrounds us trying to swallow us up in fear

the best things in life are free but most people are married to the game,

I gave myself to Christ several months ago and have been recently reading the Bible and listening to stories and discussions from it to learn more. I really enjoy your story telling and how Im shocked at the results of some. Ive heard stories and names from the Bible like everyone else but never actually sat and read it so it’s completely new to me. When I found out he actually fought God and won I was shocked. When you described him fighting him I was so excited to realize who it was. The fact God has taken human form twice so far shows me how he loved his people enough to guide them in life like you guide your children. Heavenly Father is never wrong, HE knows exactly what he's doing. There was absolutely nothing wrong in this case. He knows what's in our hearts. He knew exactly who was Esau and who was Jacob. Therefore he made his decision.
