Bro free version of davinci is bad for grading apple log because it is limited to 8bit footage while apple log is 10 bit, no?

i need help with one very important thing, I am not using any external drive to store my log footage at the time of recording and I use a windows laptop.
what is the best way I should transfer my footage to my laptop so I can color grade the footage properly?
Currently I am just sharing it through whatsapp at HD. ould really appreciate if you would help.

on the bottom right corner of your timeline you will see a settings/gear icon, click on it. go to color management > select DaVinci YRGB color managed > select the color profile of your camera, eg slog3 for Sony . Save and come your clip in color and the option will be available
