everything on the indian is small but his head.. he looks like a cartoon character his feet are girl size his hands are ashy and small his head looks like a balloon. plus his personality screams estrogen. hes cringe lol

Only if yall can stfu so I can hear the guest
Thank you Andrew and team for hosting me, for the your many questions, jokes and insights. The humor and astute awareness with which you view and make fun of life is appreciated.
Bro you are packing 🔥
You're the freakin man Dr. Huberman, keep at it
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You got my respect! 🔥
I’ve been watching your podcast for awhile now, and man it was adorable to see you thrown in with these animals! Really glad you came on this podcast. Both you and Lex always maintain a patience and kindness that seems very genuine. Seeing that has been inspiring to me. Thank you for what you do!
This was a great watch. Funny and interesting at same time 👏
Watching this 4th grade teacher be so patient with his students is really heart warming
This is the best summary of of the pod by far!
The choice of words is sublime
pretty much 🤣
That should be the title for this podcast.
@@oneskillpoint4669 lowkey I cringed when Huberman was dying to finish his statement and bless us with info but stayed quiet to let the guys get their laugh...haha
The level of interruptions Mr. Huberman has the patience to tolerate is seriously commendable.
lol watch him on whitney cummings' pod and you'll see god-tier patience
Shultz wasn't expecting such a long answer. He wanted to talk together. Huberman wanted to just monologue forever
Dr.*
Huberman was terrible on this podcast. He was the one interrupting and not integrating into the group. He seems like a dark person behind the scenes. Seems like a time bomb. Maybe all the steroids and butter are catching up with him.
@@glorianenclave3463 Sounds like you're projecting

He knew the assignment
bro exactly
The amount of time he tries to start his sentence “im sure…” at 11:19 while being interrupted and like a true gentleman realizes the clever remark timing is gone and gives up had me rollin

His patience throughout this podcast proves he’s going to be an amazing father one day. Especially for teenage boys 😂
He's getting old fast. Doesn't look like kids are in his future. Especially with all the butter and adrenaline. He was trying to dominate the room rather than integrate with the other guys. Not an empathetic dude. It was hard to watch and you can see on their faces like "man this Huberman guy is a douche."
@@glorianenclave3463hahaha what are you even taking about. I don’t know if huberman will have kids but he is very healthy and men can have kids at very old ages.
From my perspective they gelled just fine and the guys on this show clearly respect him. If anything he probably thinks they are douches.

Huberman’s ability to speak for 10+ minutes on a random topic like Foot Fetish just shows you the breadth and depth of his knowledge. He did it while avoiding comedic distractions from Schultz’s and others.
Facts!
Absolute facts !
Totally agree, such a missed opportunity on their part
I found it totally obnoxious! I mean… the guy is in a podcast full of comedians and he’s still talking like he has Lex Fridman in front of him… there’s such a thing as reading the room and understanding context. I think Huberman is brilliant but he could’ve had more fun during this conversations.
@@FelipeZabala i think its just his brand
He’s gotta come back on! I love Andrew he’s completely 180’d my life when I found him 6 months ago. I couldn’t be more appreciative of him and what he does
Huberman is great, not sure he had great chemistry with this crew though.
Things I learned from this podcast :
1) breathe through your nose not mouth
2)take cold showers and ice baths
3)lift weights 2*3 times a week
4)do facial exercises
5)take naps
6)avoid alcohol and drugs
7)move your body

Huberman's short and long term memory recall is very impressive. I would have lost my train of through so many times throughout this interview.
Dr Huberman is like the adult that was accidentally sat on the kid's table :D
The way Huberman has deep, thorough and convincing answers for the most random questions is disturbing. A true national treasure.
Lmao
Such a good episode so far, just wish the urge to interrupt would dissipate more with informative guests like this
Totally. I really enjoy this podcast, but with a guest like this, with all this interrupting and Beavis and Butt-Head laughing is annoying as shit
Go watch Rogan then boys
We see the good doctor talk all the time uninterrupted elsewhere all the time. This podcast is for making ppl laugh
Agreed!!
Huberman has his own uninterrupted podcast that lasts arouns 2,5 hrs... This is informative and fun. Watch the episode with akademiks. The poor man couldn't even finish a sentence.
This was a great learning experience! Saw the JRE podcast for Dr Heuberman as well. Absolutely love this guy!
Best part was the importance of good story telling to capture an audience. The key thing that stood out to me was when Andrew said "bad story is when there's no lack of information". MOST scientists/PhDs can learn this from a comedian. Don't have to show EVERY piece of information during your presentations. Create suspense. Be comfortable with pauses.
Love this dude. He's such a scholar. He laughs along with the jokes but is also like, alright lets get back to work, guys
He’s talked about how much he loves teaching and sharing the information he has, it’s like watching a kid tell you about his favorite dinosaur- except it’s the neuroscience of necrophilia and foot fetishes 😂

I love this pod but…. God dam is it hard to watch.
They're genuinely unfunny. They just laugh at their own jokes to give the appearance of them being funny.
Now that I’ve started. I nailed it 😂 but I’ll give them credit after 30min they actually take what he’s say pretty respectfully
I wonder how many times Huberman thought to himself “I wonder if these guys wanna learn or just keep hitting me with punchlines” 😂

as someone who’s pursuing biological psychology, this was a phenomenal episode.
the moments when he seemed to question what he’s doing there were hilarious, very informative, and still just the boys hanging out cracking jokes, great job
Time stamp??
Doesn’t all psychology take biology into account? What kinda psychologist doesn’t?
@@MarthMain there’s many different branches of psychology that specialize in certain topics. psychopharmacology (drugs/medicine), abnormal psychology (disorders), biological psychology (link between physical biology and psychology), as well as many different psychological perspectives like operant vs classical conditioning (behavioral) or the biological perspective (physiology).
psychiatrists/psychologists of course take biology into account with their clients and in their studies. but depending on their background, they may lean towards one of these psychological perspectives in their explanations for cause or for treatments. a psychologist who specialized in abnormal psych will likely not be involved in the same studies as a psychopharmacologist. the field of psychology involves countless clinical studies and not every psychologist goes and becomes a therapist. being a specialist doesn’t mean you disregard all the other aspects of your field.
While it is good to pursue these studies, in the end you will corrupt your own mind, because you will use all of that same information to place such an accurate judgement on yourself that you will be aware of your own fate... ever think about that?
@@brakeroner i’d like to recommend you get a psychological evaluation
Huberman is the perfect scientist for this environment. He can roll with everything without becoming irritated. That's exactly what it takes to spread knowledge to those who don't normally have the attention span for such information. Good stuff.
Man, seeing Andrew unravel certain concepts as it pertains to his craft is entertaining af. That moment when he connected the dots about story telling and how he wants to move to bigger venues but breaks down the science of capturing attention was great lol

Learned a bunch from this podcast Dr. Huberman is very smart and can tell a story in a digestible way
This was such a great episode. The balance between jokes and seriousness in this was so refreshing. I was only gonna listen, but couldn't help watching and enjoying the little nuances and interactions you all bring to the table. 💕
seeing andrew asking question of which he actively tries to find the asnwer and not simply waiting for Huberman answer, is simply great and inspiring
Everyday No cost Tips:
1. Sunlight in the mornings, make it fun. Set the internal clock to go to sleep well at night.
2. Exercise (3 days strength, 3 days cardio of aerobic, anaerobic and full body like swimming).
3. Physiological Stress Control (double-inhale one short one long, exhale through the mouth - Nose breather not mouth breather)
4. Some practice that makes you more resilient (i.e. cold shower, end on warm shower after 3 mins - maybe exercise too from point 2?) to get a nice dopamine high the rest of the day
5. Avoid Toxic Relationships as they can really redirect a positive path that you may be on
Bonus: Eat a variety of foods, not all soft. Hard foods help shape teeth and face structure in a very aesthetically pleasing way.
to the kid who took the notes during class, thanks bud 👍
The fact that Schultz was a psych major makes so much sense on how he poses views and frames questions about topics . He always thinking about the deeper psychology behind things

What Dr. Huberman said about THC and psychosis is true, and I hate that the community refuses to acknowledge this and promote weed as this safe substance. My friend and I used to smoke weed like everyday in highschool and we used to smoke on those THC pens as well. During the pandemic, we were forced to quit, and my friend started to have insane paranoia while being sober, always thought someone was following us, hear voices in his head, and would just be constantly agitated.
Hence why people always say don’t do any kind of drugs until your brain is fully developed. It’s gonna mess up your brain otherwise (doesn’t matter if it’s weed, coke or even alcohol or nicotine)
@@SwoleakhulTheBlind right…. how many people do you know waited until they were 25 to use any substances
I don't think that's the weed bro 😂
That was always there with your friend, THC probably brought it out. Just like if he drinks enough alcohol, guarantee he will have a mental break. However compared to alcohol, weed is 99.9% safer. It’s why people ignore the potential negative side effects of weed. There’s risks for everything but as a form of indulgence, weed is one of the better ones.
@Edward I'm not saying you because u stated it pretty well. But alot of weed supporters don't acknowledge risk and can only say its safer than alcohol. I think mostly everyone agrees with this and the debate on why it's illegal is for a different time.
However, just like anything, too much of anything is bad and yes weed falls into that category. I have family members that smoke everyday and they may not have physical dependence but mentally they have serious issues when they can't get high.
Really good stuff.
It’s actually insane how good the podcast scene is now I know it’s been commented on countless times but it’s really taken over the world, these kind of podcasts are so influential so society it’s ridiculous
