I make sure all of my knives find some time in my rotation. Since go longer than others without being carried. I hate dropping a knife, but don't let worry about damaging or marring the looks stop me from carrying and using my knives. Now, I do carry multiple knives of varying types, and will use one of my beaters for a beater-type job OR to hand out when someone is looking to use a knife. Damn, I really dig TRM and the Atom line. Would love to have one of those in my collection!
Great topic, and good to hear a honest opinion about the question of what are premium knives, safe-queens and/or user's. For me, as a collector and user, the deciding factor isn't about how premium, expensive or by example what the blade steel is. It's more about which place it takes in my collection: is it part of a sub-collection, is it a sprint run or exclusive, what is the availability, and so on. As an example I own multiple different versions of several Victorinox (Classic and Cadet) and Spyderco (Para 3, PM2 and Native 5) knives which are primarily safe-queens, but, I do EDC a few of them. My most expensive knife is a CRK Umnumzaan tanto S35VN which is part of my top 5 most used/carried primary knives. For me it's about function and feel or connection, if I choose to carry a knife or not. Top 5 EDC: CRK Umnumzaan (S35VN) Spyderco Para 3 (first sprint run CPM Cruwear, DLT exclusive Cruwear, CS excl. REX45) White River Knives M1 (Backpacker & Pro, S35VN fixed blades) Victorinox Cadet alox (and a Classic alox at my keys) Spyderco Para Military 2 (blurple S110V, all black S30V) Sorry for the long rant, my autism knife nerdism brain took over ;-) Greetings from the Netherlands, @dr.oetqer
Nice. I have both. I camp a lot, so I use the appropriate knife for camping and whittling wood. But I also have desk knives that I enjoy holding and flipping while I'm thinking and working on a problem at my desk. also weekend knives that are light weight and don't drag down my shorts or sweatpants but will be used to cut down boxes and just general use.
I carry and use my premium knives. I really just grab a knife every morning at random or if is is calling to me. (So could be premium or "budget" steel) Unless I am doing something specific that I want a specifc knife or multi tool for.
I don't have any premium knives. But I love that buggout with the carbon carbon fiber. Man look sick. I love how you use your stuff man. I use all my stuff keep them in a rotation. Love the videos.
I just found your channel today. I watched the truck video few minutes ago. That was amazing. I have never thought about premium knives. That might be a new outlook on knives that I'll put in my mind during the next purchase. Thanks for another awesome video.
I don’t have a lot of really nice knifes, realized early on they are just going to sit in a drawer some were. kind of defeats the point of owning them.
I have a few premium knives that aren't SUPER premium except the aluminum Bugout and I have to make myself carry them because I really don't want to drop them, but I also don't want safe queens.
Congratulations Dwayne!!!!!!! Hope I spelled that correctly. I use all my knives… premium or not! I bought them so Imagonna use um! Any way great video X…I liked that you were out on your one wheel not sweating. Glad it’s cooled off some. My Instagram handle is @tammykaltreider and of course I’m already subscribed to both 🤦♀️✌️
Awesome video and enjoy your content and don't get to checkout many videos as i like due to my 10-12 hr work days however the summer peak season is about over so I can get 2 look at more of my favs. East Texas in the house! josephwarren7377
My favorite thing from this video is the actual video itself. I absolutely love the benchmade bailout and the style of that blade man. I’d like to see you review the benchmade immunity full or auto. 🫡 brotha

Of my Premium steel knives I have 2 spyderco native 5 in CPM Cruwear & 1 Native 5 in CPM S 30V.🦉
I use all my knives no matter what. I keep a couple “going to town” knives out of daily rotation in case I have to dress up.
Loving these honest reviews. A real breath of fresh air. Keep 'em coming!
