Liver Eating Johnson was a legend of the west who earned his nickname by eating the livers of his enemies. This mountain of a man stood over 6 feet tall and weighed in at 280 pounds.being one of the fierce fighters of the time and fueled by revenge for the murder of his Wife, Johnson would go on to kill and scalp over 300 Crow Indians. Whether these stories are true or simply legends. The name and story of John “Liver Eating” Johnson would be spread far and wide and go on to inspire a movie called Jeremiah Johnson.

The insane fact is, he probably lived until 70 because he ate those livers. The liver carries antibodies for all sicknesses, has all vitamins and minerals someone needs, and coming from a human only makes that more so.

He was never married. He killed Sioux indians not crow. He was a real person but never ate livers. This history of him was a fictional book written by Thorp.

I seriously doubt the number he killed was 300. Id guess it was more like 30-40. Nevertheless, this was presented perfectly. Yup, he was a badass. I believe he is still alive!!
