I just love old ford's. My dad had a cortina mrk 5 estate he bought new in 82. Similar in boot space of the granada estate. His cortina was a work horse where he used to carry arcade machines in the back for his company back in the day . he retired in 2019. He once carried a sprint two arcade machine on the roof of the cortina. He had a van but if it was being used he would use the cortina. It was scrapped in 91 so it wasn't very old but boy he did alot of miles in it. My best friend and I visited the scrapyard where the car was , and I took the ford badge off of it and I still have it. So if I ever buy a Ford cortina estate I'm going to put the badge onto it. We live in Ireland and my dad used to visit my grandmother and relatives in Birmingham many times and we would drive to Dublin to catch the ferry to Liverpool and drive to Birmingham. That boot space just reminded me of the old girl. His was a 1.6 L and it was brown. The car before that was a cream mrk 4 and before that was a dark blue mrk 3 estate with square headlights on the front. Anyway thanks for the uploads and keep them coming. Much respect from Ireland 🇮🇪
Hi Imstokze, It's completely crazy, a field full of rare Granada station wagons. The second Granada in the video was not Portuguese, it was from Germany and still had the old license plate "OF-ET 918", for the city of Offenbach am Main in Hessen. But what breaks my heart are the escorts and the Cortina. There are now gold bars for them in Germany!! Great video. cheeRS Klaus from Düsseldorf
Stunning Mk 2 red Cortina. That last UK reg Granada Estate with the logbook actually looked better than some of the Portuguese ones. That one had been locked away somewhere.
Doesn't it just make you wonder why ?? Classics just sat there rotting , bonkers . That red cortina mk2 was an absolute gem . Cheers once again chief , love these vids 👊🚗
Loved the 1600E. I think an early model with binnacle. My dad's had a dip in the dash where that binnacle goes and the dials underneath, set in the main dash.
Another great selection of Fords (and XJS) but that red Cortina … just wow! Looks in mint condition and ready to be sold! Do hope it’s well looked after. Great video 👍👍🚘
1:42 that’s actually a old German plate, but that car spent time in Portugal and it was seen on the car transporter coming from Portugal. There’s a video online.
1:43 - last I saw a video where this Granada with german numberplate from "Offenbach" (near Frankfurt/Main) was on a car-transport-truck on the motorway! In that video there were two trucks full of classics. I think it's about two weeks before.
Yeah Mk1 Fiesta Super Sport rims some might mistake the for Capri or Mk2 RS 2000 or Mexico rims but being am almost flush dish unmistakably to the trained eye 1300 Super Sport rims
Thats a nice collection I mind seen them on a video some guy filmed them at a petrol station on transporters aswell as the escorts etc the truck driver said they all came from Portugal
Cool cars stu site is just getting better and better as each you show awesome ,black escort for me that one I really would like stu ...any idea of price hmm
Did you enjoy the Worcestershire county weather for a change im sure the family name did or still do autograss raceing but i could be wrong but he has got alot of fords making really good money as the demand is massive thats why he is importing them from many different countries great businesses for him and fare play to him for him to get you film there stokzey bet he will sell alot more being on u tube mate
Those Granadas are little more than stripped out shells I'd be amazed if they don't end up being snapped up by the banger racing fraternity as they are willing to pay good money just to smash them up.
The only decent Fords from this era were the lotus cortina & 1600E, 2.8 capri and the last iteration of the Granada (preferably the estate). Put the rose tinted glasses away and forget the rest.
Stu doesn't pretend too know all just showing what he finds, if it bothers you that much you make a channel and go document it all in alphabetical order 🤷♂️ it's not a big deal people who know know just to sit back and enjoy the vid..
Wow, that Volvo is rare, I'd love to be in a position to buy that, they are one of my all time favourite cars!

OH WOW. My dream car collection. Others can have there exotic sports, but I am a 70's and 80's car fan through and through. Thank you.
It's better to take the exotic cars and sell them to buy classics 🥳

Looks like a Banger boys stash
Those 4 4 spoke alloys are from a fiesta supersport
Yeah Mk1 Fiesta Super Sport rims some might mistake the for Capri or Mk2 RS 2000 or Mexico rims but being am almost flush dish unmistakably to the trained eye 1300 Super Sport rims
@@Rickytricky01 capri RS 3100 are a very similar dish too
@Richieaburke I don't remember RS3100 Capri's I'm only a young lad at almost 52
Best of luck with the channel & videos ahead 👍👍
Short but sweet Stu. Loved the Granada mk11's as you don't see many nowadays.
they like to rot my dad was welding them up in the 90s so i wouldn't like to think how bad thay are now unrestored
Not bad for a Sunday morning upload 😊 keep up the good work mate 👍
Thanks again fella
Those GTE Mk2 Containers are like hens teeth😯
Love a sneaky cheek peek, another great one stu.
Thats a nice collection I mind seen them on a video some guy filmed them at a petrol station on transporters aswell as the escorts etc the truck driver said they all came from Portugal

Gearbox from the Granada is actually an rs1800 rocket box
Yes bro!
Shame you didn't focus more on the bubble arch black escort mk1 😮
Bubble arches are so overrated 🤮
The last Granada with the door cut I could of bought that for £1200 last year and was rotten so turned it down from a different seller

Ripe for a supercharged v6. 😊
Audio terrible gets wind sock for the mic 😮
Those Mk 2 Granny are just asking for a H frame and a right hand turn!!!!!.......
Those Granadas are little more than stripped out shells I'd be amazed if they don't end up being snapped up by the banger racing fraternity as they are willing to pay good money just to smash them up.
Collectors would pay more these days
The only decent Fords from this era were the lotus cortina & 1600E, 2.8 capri and the last iteration of the Granada (preferably the estate). Put the rose tinted glasses away and forget the rest.
Someone collects cars all his life, then he dies and the cars die with him
Working on restoration is life demanding nobody has time for any more
That first lot would vacuum up real nice. Solid for there age to be honest.
Ye, vacuum all the rust up lol
👍🤝🇱🇹
Last 2 videos have been a Ford fetishist fest!!!! 👍👍👍
Location 😂
I’mgayboy why don’t you read comments
I thought famers were on their arses but im seeing so many now with yards full of classics. What is going on.....msd.
What a find such a shame and waste of money to just sit there especially going to all that effort to import some of them
They didn't get like that overnight 🤷
FFS…. Don’t quit your day job
Behave lol
You don’t know much about old fords, they didn’t do a GTE Mk2 Cortina & that Capri tailgate is a mk1 capri bootlid ffs 🙄

So what leave stu to do what stu does best 😂😂😂 keep it up la
Sort your Mike out, can't watch with that wind noise, spoilt a good video.
