This is so true. I have lived it on the local scale and the professional scale. It's been 30+ years and I am now just beginning to fight back because I worked overseas for the past 30 years. Johnny Depp has bought property here in the UK and is spending increasing amounts of time here. He pops up at music events, and even at musical instrument antique stores. He mixes with people outside the large cities, in the country areas. He fulfils "wishes" for people struggling with illness or living with disabilities. He is very welcome here in the UK, and his privacy is respected. Hollywood's loss is our gain.

When I worked at Disneyland, he often came after hours with his family (he would get mobbed if Guests saw him). He was always very kind and gracious, friendly with the Cast, never cocky and arrogant (like many celebrities are). We never resented having to stand by or stay late for him and his family because they were so nice. Truly a class act...unlike the Disney company.
That's awesome! I'm so glad that he is getting to live his life the way he wants and that he is happy. After all that he went through with Amber, he deserves to be able to live his best life.
