There's something about the friendship between these 2 which seems almost...magical, in a way. I can't believe so many people actually want them to be together as bf/gf, husband/wife. They have something amazing that most people never get to have. Luckily they both seem to have great knowledge of this so would never do anything to put it in jeopardy. Another big factor is that there is most certainly a difference between loving someone and being in love. I do think that you can feel both things at once for another person (which would be ideal) but I do not see them as being 'in love' with each other. They have one of the best things going that two people could possibly hope for. I mean, I wouldn't trade my boyfriend for anything, but I can't deny the envy I feel for a friendship like this.

I personally think Winlet was the only one to have ever had deeper feelings of love for DiCaprio. Also, just at one point and very likely during the filming of Titanic. Not vice versa. Why? Because DiCaprio has *only* ever dated women aged 25 and younger. This goes back to a young age. Meaning, DiCaprio had made himself clear to Kate that she was only going to be a really good, supportive friend that he could rely on in Hollywood from the beginning. It would have not been too hard for Kate to figure out what DiCaprio's taste in women was like and that she wasn't in his "romantic" picture. Hence, easier to accept it. You know, they share the same age and have gone through the same process of auditions, rejections and criticism etc. if projects or performances didn't work out the way they wanted to. That works out wonderfully and we have seen the positive results, like when DiCaprio won his first Oscar.

I can't believe so many people actually want them to be together as bf/gf, husband/wife. They have something amazing that most people never get to have. Their friendship is above and beyond many 'couple' relationships' out there and is something to be cherished. Luckily they both seem to have great knowledge of this so would never do anything to put it in jeopardy. Another big factor is that there is most certainly a difference between loving someone and being in love. I do think that you can feel both things at once for another person (which would be ideal) but I do not see them as being 'in love' with each other. They have one of the best things going that two people could possibly hope for. I mean, I wouldn't trade my boyfriend for anything, but I can't deny the envy I feel for a friendship like this.

They are totally in love, you can just see it. The glimmer in their eyes is everything. I think they feel both things at once for each other but decided to "let each other go" romantically so as not to ruin their friendship. This is where I agree with you. What they have is special and incredibly rare. Very few get to have this kind of relationship in life. Their relationship is amazing and everlasting, so why ruin it? If they broke up it'd be devastating. They should stay best friends.

I personally think that they are both in love with each other, it’s just that they want to keep this kind of relationship for themselves. As you know, being married or even just a being two lovers, it could destroy this special relationship that they have. Married people get divorce, couples break up. But sticking up with this friendship, we still feel a chemistry between them.
It’s either better to keep their relationship this way, or get married and work harder to keep the bonds stronger so they won’t divorce.

I personally think Winlet was the only one to have ever had deeper feelings of love for DiCaprio. Also, just at one point and very likely during the filming of Titanic. Not vice versa. Why? Because DiCaprio has *only* ever dated women aged 25 and younger. This goes back to a young age.
Meaning, DiCaprio had made himself clear to Kate that she was only going to be a really good, supportive friend that he could rely on in Hollywood from the beginning. It would have not been too hard for Kate to figure out what DiCaprio's taste in women was like and that she wasn't in his "romantic" picture. Hence, easier to accept it.
You know, they share the same age and have gone through the same process of auditions, rejections and criticism etc. if projects or performances didn't work out the way they wanted to. That works out wonderfully and we have seen the positive results, like when DiCaprio won his first Oscar.
I would die for a friendship like that, finding your soulmate in this world is a true gift!

@Alien R. Yea maybe. DiCaprio is not a womanizer, but definitely does not seem as emotionally and mentally mature as Kate Winslet. Even though Winslet was just taking a "dig" at DiCaprio, when she said she is 33 and he is still 22, as could be seen in the video above, it is obvious there is a sense of truth to it. Just by looking at DiCaprio and that he has only dated women not older than 25, in addition to Winslet herself having been married thrice and having three children.
And that immaturity might be on purpose or not, but it's best not to get romantically involved for it may only result in heartbreak if you're 100% certain you can *not* commit, dedicate and invest in your relationship with your partner. Married or not.
