Another good video. Everything worked very nicely! Dinner also looked good. Campsite cabin site is perfect! Thanks Mike and Juniper. Oh and what a sweet new puppy! So happy for the companionships!
Congratulations on your new pup! Adopting truly means saving a life, and that's a wonderful thing. I’m glad I stumbled upon your videos, I've enjoyed watching them! As a displaced Buckeye (I actually miss the cold) living in Mississippi, seeing some of my old stomping grounds in your videos brings back memories and makes me a bit homesick. I wondered to myself, if you ever grabbed breakfast at ol’ Cracker Barrel when you boondocked. My husband and I once boondocked at a Cracker Barrel, and it was a treat to have someone else handle breakfast! Can’t wait to follow along on your next adventure!
Great video and thank you for taking us along. I love your setup and your pups are so cute. Please keep them on your adventures. And congratulations on your engagement! Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures and God Bless
Hey Mike my wife and I really enjoy your content. My wife and I owned a 2022 Newcamp T@G xl also. We absolutely loved it. It’s a great teardrop trailer. You mentioned your fiancée has issues with not having a bathroom in the T@G. My wife also had issues with that. 😂 Going out to pee in the pouring rain was a deal breaker. We have a Flagstaff EPRO 15fbs now. It’s still small enough to go off grid, but we have a few more creature comforts. 🍺
I enjoy your video and like that it's on your property and what you are doing to fix it up and prepare it for future videos and guests. So much can happen anywhere with the weather! I look forward to your videos on your projects. Congratulations on your engagement!
Recently found your channel and enjoying your videos. Similar setup as I have a Wrangler and a teardrop. And a puppy. Haven’t braved the cold like you have though. Nice that you have some land, wish I did.
Another great video. The main reason we added the tent to the back of our TAG, is to change clothes in and we have our camping toilet in there. It fits the bill.
The T@G's work great in below zero stuff, we slept in ours a few years ago at -16f, no heat but lots of blankets and zero degree bag, biggest thing was to vent so condensation doesn't build up and turn to ice, it was a learning lesson for us.
Thanks! I’ve been watching your videos too. You two are crazy! Your wife is a trooper, she really puts in some work. Keep the videos coming, they’re entertaining, and be safe out there! Thanks for the comment!
@@NowhereBoundAdventures lol yeah she is a keeper, love what you are doing with your land and hope you can get the fiancee/gf I can't remember if you said you guys are engaged, hope you can get her more into camping. Have a great weekend man
This video is great. I love winter camping, but that is a bit much for my little old lady self! But I do like watching you do it. I have thought about a diesel heater, maybe……. Again, really enjoyed the video.
I can't believe anyone would have the nerve to complain about you not buying from cracker barrel. First....STOP judging others..second..in your face. He actually did something without making it a tada moment for him!! I wish people would just stop being so s*****. JUST MY OPINION!
I’ve let it run 10 hours and it still had about 20% fuel left. It has 2 modes. Auto and manual. And 10 increments of heat level. I prefer manual and usually run it at level 2 or 3.
"Liberal amounts...and that's not a political statement." I love your sense of humor even in the face of freezing temps. And good for you guys on the adoption of Daisy.
Yet another wonderful video. Are you in PA or OH? Always welcome to come south anytime to visit. I'm looking forward to getting started soon as the weather warms. Purchased a used Tundra 4x4 to tow the TT. Be well Mike!
I’m a new subscriber and really enjoy your channel! Can you share what temperature app you use on your phone and what type of digital thermometer you use?
Just recently found your channel. Enjoyed this video and the one made just prior to this. I have a request. Would you strongly considering your "Jouelle water heater." From your previous video it is obvious it has other uses then just heating water. Some things I am curious about is: How long does it to get water to boiling when the container is full, how many watt hours are used when plugged into your Jackary to get the water boiling, how you like or don't like it, does it have any short comings ‐or- real strong points that you have found. Thank you for the videos have made already. Looking forward to seeing more. Have a Great Day!
If you figure out a way to hookup both the inlet and outlet of the heater to the camper, it will not get so dry inside. It will just recirculate inside warm/humid air as opposed to taking cold dry outside air and heating it for a one time use. Very inefficient.
Just wanted to comment on something you said regarding using your lithium batteries in the cold. I'm no expert so please do your own research, but I believe you can use lithium chemistry batteries regardless of how cold it is. You just can't CHARGE lithium batteries when the cells are at freezing temps. This will damage them.
@ probably not without drilling holes, which I don't want to do. I did insulate the inside of the battery box, which I think did the trick. Great idea though!
I’m sure if it was a real survival situation he woulda worked a little harder on the fire. He’s in his back yard LOL. Plus, the Jeep has a heater, trailer has a heater. Outside fire was optional.
Not a outdoor person to much but I’ve made fire 🔥 in a pretty good downpour while camping 🏕 surely you could of gotten that fire 🔥 going always be prepared and never 🛑 trying 😊😊😊😊!!!!
Daisy is so beautiful, so precious….as is Juniper. They are so sweet together. Thank you for adopting her. She now has the most wonderful family 🙏❤️
Thank you!

Nice set up, a good dog loves to be with you. I sure miss mine.
Since you watch Steve, you need a Step 2!
Yes!!

A 5 gallon bucket 🪣 with disposable liners are the way to Go inside. You can buy a seat for it also? It works great. ✔️
Or even a 3 gallon bucket. The seat fits there, too.

Very nice 🙂🙂🎉🎉🎉🎉 thanks much
You bet! Glad you enjoyed it.
Im watching for the diesel heater and the dog from Calgary Alberta.
Greetings!
Love the videos of various heaters and gear stress tests. Winter teardrop camping is the best.

Great video Mike! The very best camping happens in the cold. No bugs and campfires feel great
Another great video! Ribs looked delicious and if you need more friends, we’d love to camp on your property 😉🤣👍
Great video Thank you, love the tear drop camper
Great video, thanks for sharing. I built my own teardrop here in central Oregon, I to want to build a place for fellow teardrop enthusiasts.
Yet another great, chilled video.
Thank you Mike. 👍🏻
Thank you 😁
nice video , love the inside of your teardrop gives me alot of ideas for mine
Cool, thanks!
Love Steve! Like your setup. I recently got a diesel heater too, use in garage and setting up for camping (have a Hiker Trailer)
Nice! I love the diesel heater! Truly amazing for winter camping!
Another great video.

Mike and Juni Girl! Love your shit! Love the lessons as you learn like we do! Man! Great stuff….keep it rollin’ brother!
Another great video! Literally about to upload our trip from this past weekend where it got to 17 degrees in Alabama. That's cold for us!!
17 degrees! That's cold for anyone! 😄

"a liberal amount and that's not a political statement" I just subbed a few days ago. Love your content, your sense of humor and your whiskery dog.
Nice video. Thanks for the trip. I have a "Bumper Dumper" It fits on the trailer hitch. Happy Campin.
Another great video, I’m know looking for a tear drop 😊
😎
Great video taking on the cold. Deisel heater is on the list
Great video! Thanks for sharing! 🤙🚐

That hot kettle would be nice if they had one that worked on 12V. or a cord that that would be 110 V. switching over to 12V
I really like the teardrop thought, but are there any that if it's raining/ snowing that there's some kind of access to the kitchen area somewhat
Not without using a tent.
always enjoy your videos! It's too cold for me though...
How long does the diesel heater run on a filling and does it turn itself off if it gets too warm inside the camper?
I’ve let it run 10 hours and it still had about 20% fuel left. It has 2 modes. Auto and manual. And 10 increments of heat level. I prefer manual and usually run it at level 2 or 3.
@@NowhereBoundAdventures Wow Thanks. I bought one and haven't used it yet.
I’ve done the humidity/wet towel thing in hotels.
The exhaust should be the first thing done over anything else.
Agreed!

Thank you- much appreciated!
As cheap as these diesel heaters are, if they want it that bad let 'em have it. It can be replaced.

I did an in depth look at the Joulle kettle in this video: ua-cam.com/video/ASrbSHUSsXo/v-deo.htmlsi=TitaPv21-VU9y63z Thank you!
You had Fuel to start a Fire ?
Wasn’t going to resort to that since it was intended for cooking.
If you figure out a way to hookup both the inlet and outlet of the heater to the camper, it will not get so dry inside. It will just recirculate inside warm/humid air as opposed to taking cold dry outside air and heating it for a one time use. Very inefficient.
I’m not concerned about the fire as much as I was worried that you might mess up those ribs that would have been the real tragedy.😅
😂
Good lord, you’re tougher than me.
likes here thank you
Thank you!

The BMS in the battery I use shuts it down at -4F to protect it from damage. It’s a LiTime 140AH. Thanks for watching!
@@NowhereBoundAdventures is there any way to redirect some heat to it from your diesel heater or from the inside of the teardrop?
@ probably not without drilling holes, which I don't want to do. I did insulate the inside of the battery box, which I think did the trick. Great idea though!
Steve camp in a drain pipes with a bat not a good idea...
👍👍👍👍👍👍🏕🏕🏕🏕🏕🥾🥾🥾🥾🥾🥾
Bring some charcoal lighter, next time.
Not to judge but the fact that you couldn’t get your fire going is concerning…. In a survival mode that fire would be life or death.
Agreed!
Easy Burger King, Easy…I get your concerns…I do…pretty Sure Juniper would have pulled the plug if it got to nuts!😂
Needs more of a rats nest of very thin twigs on the bottom.
I’m sure if it was a real survival situation he woulda worked a little harder on the fire. He’s in his back yard LOL. Plus, the Jeep has a heater, trailer has a heater. Outside fire was optional.
Since you like to correct people who put themselves out there and you know so much more then I would love to see your UA-cam videos
