No no no. That was 85% the great Harry Redknapp.
Nearly all of Poch signings werent good. At the end he just picked anyone Argentinian or South American. The likes of Foyth, Gazzaniga and Danchez. Dreadful.
Did get it eight with Son or Erikson signing.
At the start so good but the final calender year would have been relegation zone, he was that bad
The champions league run was good though. He knew when to change a formation but that was a huge weakness in the league

Hearing about supporters "hurt feelings" because a top-level coach went to a rival, is hysterical. Can't be upset with Poch going to Chelsea! Remember, it's Levy who dumped Poch. Poch owes NOTHING to Spurs. Levy will forever be the problem at Spurs as he is now throwing darts at the dart board... in the dark! No top manager will want to go to Spurs after they have had some of the very best in their midst, and none of them have worked. Not until something basic changes at the top!

    • @paymonhashemi6892

The fanbase, facilities, budget, existing squad to build upon should give the right candidate more than enough to be in the upper echelons of the league and go far into the cup competitions. Spurs have been an ever present in the Prem since inception so to suggest any manager wouldn’t at least consider the role smacks of trollism.

The CEO and the board couldn't swallow their pride and admit/observe that they've made successive mistakes since 2018 which got us into this position, including sacking Pochettino just a few games after he got us to a UCL final with literally no squad investment in two of the three previous transfer windows.
We should have never sacked him. He was far and away the best candidate for the job this time around in terms of what the club are looking for. If it was a different coach with an identical CV, the same philosophy, with the same popularity among the fans, the same love for the club and the same availability, I believe we would have approached him before Conte even left the club.

Poch is doing the right thing, and as long as he's sufficiently backed this time I can see him taking Chelsea to top 4, and possibly even an FA Cup final, with no Europe next season, and plenty of young talent to develop. Spurs will slide into the bottom half of the table, if not the relegation zone, with young Mason in charge because no one else would take the job. Poch made it clear that he would return to Spurs in a heartbeat, and was left high and dry (again) by Levy, that toxic teletubby, and his poisonous sidekick, Donna-Maria Cullen. We can't expect Poch to hang around doing nothing in his prime, and he's better off well away from the current carnage at Spurs, which will probably get even worse before it gets better. I don't think Levy knows what he's doing or what he wants, and anyway Conte has poisoned the well, now everyone knows the truth about Levy and no one fancies 18 months of hell, with no say in how the squad is managed, even for a large cheque at the end of it! And what is Scott Munn for? A smokescreen for Levy to hide behind? He's not in post till 1 July and knows nothing about the PL. I despair.
