The Ajax fans at FT were full of class. They were applauding both teams for what was a classic semi final.
Check the 'no filter' version of the match highlights, they threw a drink at Moura for the 3rd goal. So not all of them were class clearly.

Agreed, that was really a touch of class, as a Spurs fan I was so happy to win but football is more than just winning or losing. The way the supporters reacted when it would be so easy to jeer/boo etc and instead just applaud their team in what was a heart breaking finish was a special moment to witness as a football fan.

That had been the best match I’d watched in recent years. Had real emotions. My fav was Ajax and I was really in tears but Moura did magic in the last minutes. Can’t blame Spurs. Pochettino did his job perfectly!

We have just seen the 4th unbelievable comeback in 2019.
1. Juventus, inspired by a Ronaldo hattrick, overcome a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 at home in the pre-QF in the greatest ever performance.
2. Man Utd, with their entire first team injured, score a stoppage time winner to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the pre-QF in their greatest ever performance.
3. Liverpool, with half their first team injured, produce their greatest performance to overcome a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3 at home against the Barca of Messi in the SF.
4. Tottenham, with their best player injured, overcome a 3-0 deficit to win, by scoring a stoppage time winner with the last kick of the game. They changed the game when 6’5” Llorente came on and the whole team lumped long balls upto him, a tactic that worked to perfection!
What a time to be a football fan. The scenes at full time... surreal. There is just nothing better than to witness these moments. Now I understand why football is called the beautiful game. Even Mauricio Pochettino, a dirty, foul-mouthed, tough tackling midfielder in his pomp, was reduced to tears. He is human after all.

Pochettino maximizes the potential of his players... same with Sissoko for example. At PSG Lucas was shoe-horned into a winger position which highlighted his flaws. What he does best is run through the middle with the ball, Pochettino lets him do just that.

But Ajax's playing style and intensity was a treat to watch. It was a good display of football. I'd say ajax deserved to go to the final as much as Tottenham. In the end, the team that was most resilient on that night won.
