Hi Igor, you are doing a great job! I came to Calgary 7 months ago and I applied to more than 50 jobs and I didn't get one phone call. I went to the Calgary Immigrant Women Association and enrolled in a bridging program with 2 months practicum. I started applying again 2 weeks ago, immediately I completed my practicum and I have had 5 interviews already, for jobs in my field. The only thing that changed on my resume is the 2 months Canadian work experience, and I am sure I will be landing a great job really soon. Keep it up!
Too bad such positive and optimistic people have to leave their own country and try their luck abroad. But, I have to say, these videos inspire even if you don’t have any relation to Canada)
Just in case anyone's wondering, the process Igor describes for getting Canadian work experience is very similar to what the average Canadian who was born and raised here has to do when they first start working in their teens and early 20s. All the good jobs need you to have other work experience first. It's not just for immigrants.
Immigrants don't like it because they already have many years of work experience in own country. It kind of offensive to compare adult with 3000 years of experience with person who born in Canada and does his fist steps in Carrier development. And all of those just for idiotic references))).
Igor brother i really like the way you are so humble and positive in your videos! Also you have a very big heart.. Love to watch your videos, and i hope all your dreams come true!
Already I subscribed your channel, and I try to watch your every informative videos over and over again. Would you please answer me, what is the most job oriented course in Canada for a new immigrant?, specially who have only general bachelor degree. If possible try to make a video on this issue, because I have faced this question oftentimes. Thanks in advance.
Hi Igor, Really good advice on job and you have amazingly highlighted the most important points and tricks to get experience... Can you make a video about which job sector is more in which province...? So that people coming to Canada can plan accordingly where to stay according to there job profile..
hi, Igor whatsup! I work in UAE for an EPC Company in Oil & Gas Industry. I have almost got my Canadian PR. Can I land a job in the same field in Canada before coming here. If yes, then how?
How many chances are there in canada to getting a work permit which lead to to p r so someone can bring his/her family over, please share your expert advise, thanks

when looking for first canadian work experience it is important to stay as optimistic as this amazing igor. thanks igor. igor i have a question. how much time did it took for you to have your first work? how did you survive before finding it?
Thanks for another great video Igor! 10:35 Typical attitude for most ex-soviet immigrants "Я дерьма хлебнул и вы хлебните!" In Europe and in the US it is advisable to stay away from "our people" if you are from any of the ex-soviet republics and if you want to succeed. I think in Canada immigrants are generally nicer because of the points based immigration system. In other words - mainly educated people who want to succeed go to Canada, where any idiot can get into US via Green Card lottery or other programs.
Hi Igor, how's it going? my lawyer told me what IT professionals highly needed in Canada. I've started my immigration process. Is it realy easy to get job in IT? Nice camera sight but be afraid of the yellow snow...
Dear Igor, first I want to thank you for all information and to give you big hug for optimism and good vibes that you share. Second, I want to ask you two questions. 1. Does the working exp in corporate world, from homeland, counts? My wife is working in France corp "Suez" and before that in German Pharma corp, where I worked too. 2. How about NGOs? Can volunteering give you that needed work exp and how easy/hard, good/bad is to be volunteer in NGOs? Thank you in advance for your answer. P.S. Maybe NGOs are good enough subject for whole video. :) ljubi brat ;)
can i work under a registered canadian civil engineer? i am a junior civil engineer with 3 years experience,...how about if i do masters in canada, how will it turn out for me?
Igor we love your videos! My husband and I are trying to move from the United States to Canada within a year and we find your videos to be very helpful. I was wondering if you have any videos I’ve missed discussing the protocol for people seeking asylum in Canada? We are the victims of gang violence here in the states and the legal system has not protected us as they should. So it’s a bit more dangerous for us here than most Americans because we prosecuted those who hurt us. We literally have to carry a gun everywhere we go and we do not like having to live this way. At this point we are hoping my husband can get a transfer up there with his job. But I am curious for myself (and for others who may be watching your videos wanting to seek asylum)what the real info is. There is a lot of contradictory stuff out there and even some Canadians we know tell us conflicting things too. You are really good and telling us how it really is. I’m sure many people watching your videos are considering seeking asylum in Canada too. Maybe you could make a video dedicated to giving your viewers the information they need regarding that? Thanks for all you do Igor!
There is a loophole for immigration asylum seekers, if you go to the border and say you are claiming asylum and you have a relative that lives already in Canada they will grant you entry. It was on the radio on the weekend here. I dont totally understand why you would want to come here. Im trying to move back to the USA.
James Johnson I was jumped by 2 MS13 gang members in my own yard in 2016 and nearly murdered. I have injuries I’ll never recover from, and am totally disabled because of them. My husband saved my life. We did what normal people would do, call 911. We did not know they were gang members or anything like that. We just thought they were tweakers because they attacked me in my own yard at 5am. But at the preliminary hearing we were told by the DA they were MS13 and they turned them into informants and they’re allowing them to plead down from attempted murder to felony battery resulting in severe bodily harm. Then we started getting witness tampered relentlessly to the point we had to drop out of the prosecution because the state wouldn’t help protect us in any way. These gang members got more help than we the victims did. They gave the main attacker a 3 year suspended prison sentence. He never served a day. Anytime he gets in trouble now for other crimes, he ends up violating his probation and having new hearings to get him back out. These gang members always find us, babysit our house, they’ll fire off guns in our yard, destroy our property, run us off the road or do whatever they have to do to scare us into not making his sentencing worse on him by showing up to court. So we literally are armed at all times and we have children. This may sound dramatic, and it is, but this really happened to us. The US Marshall’s won’t give us witness protection because the state wouldn’t let the charges get big enough. Plus they’re protecting these people because they turned them into snitches. I don’t have family in Canada. I just want to live somewhere that doesn’t have an MS13 problem and where I don’t have to be armed to the teeth 24/7 like some paranoid psychotic person.😂
