In her Era's tour, she sings 44 songs & it's over 3 hours long. Her 'rests' are when she does a mellow song on her piano or acoustic guitar. Then it's backs to 'Diva mode'.
I'm glad you're giving Taylor a chance and are enjoying her performances. She hasn't released a full on country album in 14 years. She's one of the most versatile artists around as you'll find out if/when you check out more of her music from the past decade or so. I'd say go back to her 2012 album Red, which is when she crossed over into pop music. But she's done different styles and sounds on each subsequent album. She's a good guitarists and pianists and writes all her own songs. So talented and a great person too, with a good conscience who does a lot for charity. A very giving person. Yes, the song is a dig at those who've tried to put her down. Not just the press but the likes of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian who were pretty damn nasty and horrible to her, telling lies about her, but it did backfire on them. Taylor took a break but came back fighting with her Reputation album and tour. Since then, well she's moved into megastardom! Her current Eras tour is 3.5 hours long and is a real spectacle!! You should check the filmed version. It's an amazing show. Wish i could attend a show but impossible to get tickets and too expensive for me anyway. But the concert film is a must watch, if you have a Disney Plus subscription.
Taylor Swift stadium tour concerts are not simply concerts, the are life experiences. Every single song during the show is stellar!! Each song contains at least one of the following; timed & themed lights/smoke/flames/excellent sound/flames/outfit changes/etc… just full on jaw dropping quality and energy. 👏🙌❤️🥰 it’s an experience!!!
I was lucky enough to have seen her Reputation Stadium Tour and it’s by leagues the best live show I’ve ever seen.
Great reaction and your spot on. After the media, Kanye West and K.Kardashian almost destroyed her she went into seclusion, reinvented herself and came back swinging and stronger then ever. I believe her Reputation Tour was also her way of getting revenge on the haters. She flipped the tables and marketed that into a positive for her and her fans. Like she said when they stop coming for her she'll stop writing about them. If you haven't watched her Miss Americana documentary you should. You'll see the hell she went through. At the beginning of this concert reputation, she did an intro and it was all the media talking crap about her and then she went into the song ready for it and she invited all the media to her concert. That was talking crap about her. She’s so savage.

You were spot on. Well done. Her Era’s concerts are 3:15 with zero breaks. She has quite a few outfit changes but she only gives herself between 15-30 seconds. It’s so funny because there’s this one long red dress that she has to put on in the dark and about 4 out of 10 times, she gets it wrong. She laughs at herself and keeps going. I’d be flat on my back after dancing in high heels for 15 minutes, let alone over 3 hours. Bless her. She’s so talented and beautiful. A huge range. I’m SO HAPPY that you gave her a chance. I love seeing new artists discover her.

Great reaction, I don't know if you realized the actual lyrics were "They say I did something bad". This is about Kanye setting Taylor up. He called her up saying he was going to have some lyrics about her in his song Famous, he recorded their conversation. When the song came out, the lyrics were "I made that b!tch famous" Taylor objected, Kim Kanye's then wife edited the tape and put it out social media and started calling Taylor a liar and a snake. The hate Taylor received became to much and she disappeared for about a year, when she came back, we got Reputation, Taylor embraced it and the snake. The snake's name is Karyn.

If you’re enjoying the Reputation Tour so far, wait till you start watching the Eras Tour.
Reputation is my favourite album, yes do them all, you won’t be disappointed but try and find the actual concert rather than the EAS Channel stitched videos, whilst they’re expertly put together and shows that it doesn’t matter which venue you’re at or the precise second in the performance, they’re so well rehearsed they still go together seamlessly, but you do need to see it absolutely live. For Reputation she was so damned angry at the time, that’s where all the attitude is coming from that you are enjoying.
For the Eras Tour; it’s a 3.5hour show, 44 songs over all her albums and to get ready for the tour, for 6 months everyday she sang the entire set list on a treadmill and then at the 3 month mark started doing every dance routine whilst singing the set list. She’s a machine so by the time she got to full dress rehearsals she was so fit and had such an aerobic capacity she was outperforming her dancers. Her only chance for a breather is when there’s a costume change or when she’s doing a song acoustically.

As a long-time Swiftie, I'm always a little amused at how shocked people are when they give Taylor a fair listen. I mean this with absolute kindness, and no offense, but so many people (in their minds) have kept her in the country box that she was in when she first hit their radar, nevermind shes been doing country/pop for 12 years and synth pop for a decade. I love seeing the fascination that sparks when she completely defies (everyones, mine included) expectations. Hope to see more from rep tour, and eras as well!

@infin8reactions even if you don't end up a fan overall, I will watch and appreciate any reactor who gives a music a true listen. For me that just means making an effort to really listen to what she's saying with the lyrics and how the production either compliments or is at odds with the words (or both, somehow, like with peace) and consider there's intentionality behind the glitter gel pen lyrics that end up as radio hits, instead of listening to "see if she good" (because yes she has so many awards that they kind of seem redundant and meaningless but girl has never found a record she can't break) or "to figure out why she's popular", (which is kinda dismissive as she has millions of fans and we can't ALL have drank the kool-aid) or to further their own narrative of Taylor's narrative. Everything else is up for discussion in my books and I'm looking forward to more of your journey and how you handle different vibes like The Archer 🏹 or a Forever Winter kind of track!

The Reputation concert film was copyrighted, hosted on Netflix for 5 years. She performed this song live to open 2018 American Music Awards on a much much smaller stage; that's the "curvy thing". The audio seems to be from the concert film; they avoided copyright strikes by mixing in multiple video source; maybe even some fan video.
Incidentally, look for anything similar to "They Say" (this song), "That's what people say" (Shake It Off); " rumors fly" (Blank Space); and other songs. It is ALWAYS a blast at the social media blockheads who spend their time whining about her. Songs on Reputation where that is a theme tend to be the ones co-written with Max Martin and Shellback; they also co-wrote a number of songs on 1989 and Red.
gets very obvious in this bit from The Last Great American Dynasty (folklore album). The initial snide comments are from the "neighbors" --- ( Watch Hill, Rhode Island coast. Old money, very private area. Taylor bought an estate formerly belonging to the ballet patron, Rebekah Harkness, who died in 1972). The neighbors complain about Taylor, too.

7:58 yes, it’s definitely the media but the line “they’ve “got their receipts”” is directed squarely at the Kanye & Kim K lying debacle and trying to turn everyone against Taylor and started the media “snakes” frenzy of name calling towards her. 🤬🐍😤
It worked for a little while. Then Taylor came back with a vengeance with this album and tour. She turned all of their lies and name calling into audio & visual effects right back onto them. Her embracing the snake 🐍 is so epic!!! The snake is part of every concert in on way or the other now. She’s the QUEEN! 😂👏🙌🥰

this is in the same format as the previous "are you ready for it?" video - its multiple performances put into one video. its actually really confusing and makes it a bit more difficult to watch. the "are you ready for it?" vid you posted was a mix of concert footage and the video clip. this one is a mixture of the reputation tour performance and a live performance at the MTV VMAs (i believe - or it may have been some other award show).
Yeah the last 2 Taylor videos were already recorded and uploaded waiting for copyright when I found out about the problem with mashed videos, all the ones from now on will be concert specific instead of multiple recordings spliced together

I think you would definitely like this tour. You will have to find the actual tour tho and not these fan made videos. They arent bad but you miss out on the flow of the show.
This is multiple performances that were mashed up by a fan. For the the record if you react to more of TS all of the EAS Channel videos are like this and some aren’t even all live, but mash up the music video and live performances. They are well done but are not usually a good first watch option IMO. SwiftLeaks is better at keeping to official tour video with I think some fan video from the tour, I am assuming cut it in to make it a “new work” and avoid a Netflix copyright ban. Either way, much closer to the full tour video from the full Netflix Reputation Tour film. The EAS Channel gets too creative IMO for this purpose, but some are creative and interesting from a video editing standpoint.
