All these people that are fans of Rap, Rock, Classic Rock, Hip Hop, Pop-Rock, etc. all stan genres that at some point were maligned, disparaged, & badmouthed by mainstream media & people who refused to even listen & try to understand what the music & those who created it were about...& yet, those "fans" of those genres are the first ones to fall hook, line & sinker then parrot what radio stations, the media, & haters say about Taylor! IF they talk about her, it's with contempt & disgust, & that ridiculous attitude that they're somehow better then her because...um....because their manhood can't handle thinking about a woman with more natural talent in her pinky then they'll have in their entire existence, who's had to fight through crazy obstacles & pain, while they are just the 'Real DEAL' because they own a penis, a shitty whiny attitude & a bunch of classic rock shirts? The worst thing that's happened to most of them is that they couldn't play anything past Stairway to Heaven on the guitar & their songwriting attempts are all of them screaming off tune about how they hate their Mom, & where they live, & that their classmates have vacant stares & they just wanna RUN & RUN & RUN & RUN!
I love watching all these guys not just eating their words & learning they've been mouthpieces for the haters with no idea why, it's knowing that THEY KNOW that they are as guilty of being like the ignorant bullies that they had to deal with & that the AMAZING artists they revere got traumatized by. Call me a sadist, but knowing intentionally ignorant asses suddenly realize that they've been "The Man" that all their fav artists had to deal with is immensely satisfying! Taylor has plenty of true & new fans. I don't care if she helps jackasses figure out that THEY are the asshole bullies (It's them. Hi!. They're the problem, it's them") that their favorite artists write & sing about overcoming! She can help them have an Epiphany, but her amazing soul needs zero new Swifties, IMO. She's so far beyond most artists & ALL of the Haters, that their vitriol is as stale as dial-up computers.
I would just adore for all of those arrogant, "My type of music is the only REAL music!" people to take a gorgeous SWAN DIVE OFF A DOCK. A Mile High. over the grand canyon.
Does this make me a bad person? Maybe.
Do I give a rat's ass? Hmm? Nope! Not even a little.
Sorry for this rant to you! I do enjoy seeing new people fall into Tay's music & stories, but I'm really over how many of them the Swifties spend so much time to deprogram them so they can take her in with the open mind they thought they had! Its like bringing someone back to reality after they've been brainwashed by a cult! Often, the combination of intentional ignorance, media brainwashing, & confirmation bias is more then I can take & I'll just go to the next video! It's fine to discover Tay's genius later then others, but if I hear "Doesn't she just write breakup songs?" I'm fucking gone! I don't have it in me too explain the misogyny & double standards any more...I mean, for Fuck's sake, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen is a Damn breakup song! When did it become shameful to write about life in all its facets? OMG! Enough! I'm ridiculous & am putting myself on comment time out! Take care & Brightest Blessings~

The thing that makes this performance even greater is that she’d been ostracised at this point, Kim and Kanye tried to ruin her career and everyone distanced themselves from her and branded her a snake… so she disappeared, put this album out and went on tour, she didn’t do any interviews or many live performances until this where she says “I did something bad, here’s a giant snake, fuck all of you” 👏🏻

There are so many dimensions to Taylor Swift. She's a rocket, a storyteller, a country singer, a balladeer, a musical novelist. Wait until you get to Folklore and Evermore and some of those live performances. Genius.
She’s clapping back to Kim and Kanye and anyone else who called her a snake! And comparing Salam Witch Trials to what happened to her when Kim edited an illegal recording she took between Kanye and Taylor. The truth eventually prevailed but people attacked her in the masses and Taylor over party was #1 trending on twitter. It was brutal! That changed her and she came back stronger than a 90’s trend! 😉 POV: Reputation is the best comeback album!!!!

Great reaction. I noticed someone asked for Haunted live, that performance is also really, really good. She was younger and shows how much she likes to put on a show, pay attention to everything in the background, and up high. And always make sure to watch from the start to the finish, sometimes there are surprises, especially in her music videos. Sometimes she will have words of wisdom, there is a song on her Lover album called "Daylight" that is so sweet at the end.
My favorite song of hers! Especially with what’s going on in the US with the overturning of Roe! As an older woman, I stand with her in saying, “Light me up!”

DEFINITELY WATCH "Haunted" from the Speak Now World Tour. Just to see her creativity with production and performance, you should totally watch the opening to The Eras Tour (the songs are Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, and Cruel Summer.) Her vocals are excellent as well. But it is genuinely one of the most beautiful stage set ups I've ever seen. Also the opening to the Reputation Tour (song ...Ready for It?) still gives me chills. She is a performer at heart and you can tell she's so happy to be touring again.
