    Put ring terminal in vice. Heat with torch and fill 1/2 way with solder. While heating the ring terminal also heat the tip of your wire that you dipped in flux. Stick wire in ring terminal and hold for 10 seconds

    Awesome Video. When mounting the ground does it matter if the screw is painted or raw? Just curious if the screw matters at all.

    • @MooreProjects
      @MooreProjects  2 роки тому

      Screw needs to be raw also since it’s also touching the metal that is being used as the ground for the best connection

    Mounting it in the rear cargo compartment.
    What’s the best way to ground it? Can I use the bolt hole for the third row seats?

    I have never seen white electrical tape. All you need to do is burn the end of the sleeve and it won’t fray. Also that heat shrink was a size too big. 🤦‍♂️

    Can u use that to replace ground straps?

    • @MooreProjects
      @MooreProjects  Рік тому +2

      Absolutely! It’s best to use a good wire that isn’t aluminum copper coated for better conductivity. If you do make sure you use 0 gauge. Or 4 gauge if it’s all copper. Also best to keep ground wires as short as possible. 3ft or less

    What size sheathing did you use?

    • @MooreProjects
      @MooreProjects  3 роки тому +4

      I used the 1/2” for 0 gauge and 3/8” for 4 gauge wires
