It's not his fault and yeah exactly what I am constantly thinking and saying Paul is always with him and always will be and wants him to be happy together with Callum I know it. Why do you think that Ben and Callum are so perfect for each other. I believe it's a bit of angelic intervention IE Paul and Chris of course because he and Callum loved and love each other too and Chris would want Callum to be happy too

He did unfortunately. If it wasn't for that, the storyline would've had a completely different outcome.
He didn't actually want to leave, there's a few interviews where Jonny (the actor who played Paul) talks about it all.
