I will never understand or agree with killing off Paul. There was no need, they could have explored more of this relationship and gotten a lot more drama out of that then the short term story they told.
When Ben got told Paul's dead & his reaction to the news, Well that was the end of me, couldn't stop myself from crying, my heart really went out to Ben!
Ben and Paul storyline paved the for Ben and Callum. Ben learned so much from Paul and was able to help Callum . It does suck that Paul died though , I wish he was around much longer or he had just left without dying
Ben and Paul deserved more of a chance........they were so good together, on again, off again, on again.........they were just getting started and the writers destroyed them..............the camera shot of Ben's ring finger, bloody and "Paul" tattoed on it......WOW......tore me up 1!!!!
I know how you feel. I’m 34 and my husband of 14 years died in my arms having badly suffered with heart problems his whole life. That was two years ago and I still don’t understand how I can’t just reach out and touch him if, in my mind, I can ‘feel’ him. Nick 🙂 X
They were definitely good at bursting into rooms in the heat of passion and slamming the doors behind them no matter what position they found themselves in lol. They were such a sweet and amazing couple and the way they did the story of hate crime and Paul’s death was fantastic but I wish they had just got them hurt. I know it wouldn’t have been so hard hitting and effective but I wanted to see them happy together and Paul was lovely 😭 😢 😭 😢 xxx
Even though it ended in tragedy with Paul, I’m glad the show writers have given Ben two amazing relationships with Paul and Callum. Seriously two of the best gay love stories I’ve ever seen in soaps.
I started watching Eastenders after finding clips about these two on youtube. But at the time I started watching Paul had just died :-( It looks like a beautifull love story. Bens reaction to Pauls death breaks my heart.Even watching this and not having seen there love story unfold I can´t help but cry. There are not a lot of soaps out there that explore gay relationships
Just watched Jonny in Soft Lad, love that LGBTQ movie. So did a quick search what else he done, and as I don't watch this soap, your upload was greatly appreciated -great actor. Many thanks... off to fin out how Paul dies (as in comments)... I thought Aaron/Jackson storyline was very well done, but havnt seen Marc in much at all ?
