    People say it's not a firearm and that's for sure but I wouldn't want to get hit by either ammo not even from the 7.5 joule version and those who say you can't use this for self defense have been hit by these projectiles cause if they did, they would beg to differ. Both are extreme

      A firearm needs an explosive powder to make the projectile go.
      Also if you want to call it a firearm if living in a place where firearms are illegal doesn't help you with the police.
      it's not a firearm.

    Fantastic and useful video since I have the HDR50 (11 joules), and Devastator and Cododo projectiles. I just got my Cododo 9mm real bullets today. I took advantage of the MIAMI10 promo code and saved money. Your idea to alternate these projectiles in the magazine seems like a great idea in a home defense scenario. Thanks for making this comparison test.

    Intro OP come sempre!

      @@lesslethalfordummies an airgun isn't a fire arm, it won't do damage like a real 9mm will because it's a significantly lower powered projectile. Even if you got skin penetration, it wouldn't be lethal unless you got a head shot or something which the devastator rounds would also present the same legal issues.

    Hello my friend, great video again as usual! I love to watch how u growing up with quality, subs and sponsors so congrats!
    I spent so long deciding if Devasts or these 9mm babies until I had to yesterday take classic ammo6 mould, epoxy putty , and special metric construction bolt very very similiar with dimension, shape and weight to 9mm bolt and with some modification of a6mould I made very similiar slug to this 9mm from your video. But thanks to you I save lot of time with finding my keys from garage in which I planned to try this my diy slugs today!0 :D cuz I know now that 9mms are must have :D
    BTWI I highly recommend for diy slugs epoxy putty, regularly better results from mould with it then Anything from 3d print, its like from factory, smooth and hard as a rock!

    You have some awesome channel. I’ve been into reloading real ammo for a while now. I got into LL about a year ago and love it. I just picked up a modified HDR50. I’m going to try and make some ammo I’m thinking since these 9mm are a bit heavier than the devastors. Possibly using a smaller diameter bullet like a 38, 32,or possibly 25 cal. Might work better. I’m going to order a mold and see if I can make one in a smaller revolver cal round. Also I’m wondering if one used a lead projectile that was not jacketed. Such as a black powder round slug in .25 cal 🤔???

    1)can convicted felon use the 9mm bullets with the air gun
    2) how high can you modify legally?

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  Рік тому +1

      These are good questions my friend.
      1) these are not real 9mm in the sense that they have no gun powder. So they’re like any other projectile. If you can shoot this gun where you live, then the ammo shouldn’t matter.
      2) that all depends on where you live. Florida: no limit. Most other states/countries have limits. You’ll have to check that locally…

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  3 місяці тому

      Hi Greg, I know, it can get overwhelming. The airgun industry seems to be booming and there’s always something new coming out.
      If you have the patients, skim thru my channel as I’m trying to review everything that is out there. Including the new released Torpedo Revolver, which in theory is a bit more powerful.
      In my humble opinion, among the CO2 powered less lethal options the best one is the HDR68 (16 joules). It’s pretty inexpensive and widely available. And it’s great! I did several videos with that, which has the size (68 cal) and the power.
      Finally turn to Facebook. Tons of groups there! Check for T4E, Byrna, Less Lethal, etc. groups… good luck!
