********** VERSA 4 *****To fix this...if after trying the reboot it doesn't work. You start by doing as he says, hold the button down for several seconds until you finally see the fitbit logo....Then immediately release the button and immediately press and hold it again. This takes it to a different stage, where you will then see a fitbit logo inside of a circle. At this point release the button and it will do a complete factory reset. I got a brand new Versa 4 in post after previous watch stopped charging/working after 6 months. New watch keeps rebooting after throwing out 4 digits to pair and keeps churning out 4 digits. I did that reset with the circle etc but nothing. Even the reset when you get the red X. Spent half hour on a chat with fitbit, sent pics of the phone resetting but he could not sort it. Told me an engineer will email me within 24 hours . . . that was two days ago. Something serious wrong the fitbit software across all platforms.
