Great work, Chris! What an awesome opportunity to travel to Australia and be able to do a race. It’s always a fun experience to race in a different country. Thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to more videos soon!
Thanks Ben. Yes, it's a very popular race and I really enjoyed it. Three weeks in Australia has flown by. Landed back at Heathrow this morning, so mega jet lag now 😄
I was in Sydney till the day before this to celebrate my little boy turning 4 but was back at home in Canberra (about a 4 hour drive away). It looked like a beautiful day and I will have to do it next year because the amount of people would have been special. Cheers.
Thanks Tina. When they said it was a fun run I naturally thought, it would be fairly straightforward but it was actually pretty challenging, however still great fun.
G'day Chris. Hope you had a great time in Sydney. I see that you were staying out Asquith way that's about 10km from me. Good day for the City to Surf. Not too hot. Looks like you enjoyed the event Well done and safe travels. Cheers! Phil
@@HereWeAreRunning Glad to hear that you had a great trip here. We've had pretty good weather in August considering it's winter. Well done on Heartbreak mate. You nailed it!
@@HereWeAreRunning I’m considering running my first marathon in my Kayano 30 as well depending on how my longest long run training tomorrow will go. Congratulations again!
@@almostaverageroger Ishi, I am going to run the 2023 New York City Marathon in the Asics Gel Kayano 30. I know the soles of my feet won't ache in those shoes as has happened to me in past marathons in lighter shoes. Good luck in your first marathon.
@@cathynewyork7918 I’ve ran 22k in them and running 32k tomorrow. I’ll check if they’re good enough as my marathon shoe or should I get a pair of Adios Pro 3. Thanks and goodluck to yours too!
@@almostaverageroger Thank you for your reply. I am about to go run 10 miles in that shoe right now - it is 5:50 a.m. here in New York City - time to go out for an early morning run. What marathon are you planning to run?
What a brilliant event! Great to see you back, and hope you all had a fab holiday 😊

Wow that looks great! Lived in Sydney for a while so some familiar sights there. It would be good weather for it at this time of year.
Yeah weather was great for running, considering it was winter.
