City 2 Surf 2023 | 80,000 Runners in Sydney, Australia!

- City2Surf is in the top 10 fun runs in the world, attendance-wise, and this edition was no exception! It was an unbelievable turnout and atmosphere, and I was stoked to see my mate Harjot crush his goal time over the 14km course. The course is notably hilly, so athletes who chose to race it are red-lining throughout. There's also some quality outfits knocking around: Kill Bill suits, wedding dresses and Budgy Smugglers being just a few. Outfit wise, I chose my trusty Fractel running cap, the Hoka Clifton 9s, and as always, I was fuelling with PURE Sports Nutrition products.
I've absolutely loved racing in 2023, and I've had some results that I'm very proud of. In saying that, I'm also really happy that I'm able to rock up to events like City2Surf, leave my competitive self at home and just enjoy running with my mates!
Once runners reach Bondi Beach the idea is generally to have a pint with your mates, which I didn't fancy, to be frank! I much preferred to head home for a big feed, a coffee, and a quick-fire edit of all of the footage I got this morning!

Thanks for your inside the City to Surf video .Just what i needed to show friends the atmosphere. I did my first City to surf in 1981 & that was completely different to now , still 14k . I walked in the yellow start so way behind you.

Great vid. It was my first time this year on the run. I barely trained for it. Did it in 1hr 20mins. Heartbreak Hill drained it out of me but I loved it. What an atmosphere!
