    • @ericsalvi
      @ericsalvi 6 років тому

      Christians studio films official it would be a similar technique to this but you’d want to make a “potato sack” body. You could probably do that type of body with the clay and tape. As of the hands just trace your hands to make a glove.

    • @PuppetNerd

      You can leave it as long or as short as you want. I think at the low spots I go down to about 1/2 inch.

    Do you know of an alternative material to ostrich feathers that has a similar look/texture and movement? I'm vegan and don't want to use real ostrich feathers, but I'm having trouble finding synthetic alternatives or cruelty-free feathers. The look I'm going for is like Rosita's hair from Sesame Street, but any hair suggestions would be appreciated!

    Is there a method or technique of trimming the fur so it doesn't have that obvious cut/trimmed look to it? Because when cutting or trimming fur, especially long-pile fur, the piling always has that unnatural squared look from where the tips of the pile were cut.

    • @PuppetNerd
      @PuppetNerd  6 років тому

      Did you watch the whole video? You tease the fur... as mentioned.

    • @JosephScarbrough
