  • This footshell is much easier to take off and put on, which makes cleaning a lot easier.

Thanks for this video! I'm looking to replace ,my current foot with the Filauer All Pro and I noticed that you got the XTS model which has a pivot at the ankle. This only adds to the weight of a perfectly designed foot, in the function of a "normal" human foot the pivot is accomplished from the hip down to the femur and then to the foot, the foot pivots on the ball of the foot, if you pivot on the ankle, you will have a dislocated ankle. Going back to the weight, the All pro is 450 g vs the XTS which is 780 g! Sorry for my medical soapbox, I still appreciate your perfectly lucid explanations on prosthetic hardware.

The XTS is not a pivot. It's a torsional shock absorber, which reduces rotational impact transfered to the socket and knee.

That makes more sense, do you know how much it weighs?@@monoped_adventures

@ruygutierrez2995 789g, but it feels much lighter because of the amount of energy return. I've tried a lighter Ossur and Ottobock K3/K4 type foot and neither of them felt as nimble as the AllPro.

I'm picking up my All Pro XTS tomorrow with the Procover Footshell and am very excited. I want it for tennis. I demoed it a few months ago. They only sent the yellow bumper for the demo, which is medium movement. I understand they sent yellow and blue for my foot, which is the most movement you can get. I'm hoping the blue works for me. I need maximum lateral movement. I just got retested at the amputee clinic a month ago and got rated a K4. My doctor put in for the Fillauer foot and Kaiser approved it thankfully. If I wasn't playing tennis, I would have gotten the regular All Pro. I agree that the All Pro XTS feels lighter than my present Ossur Pro Flex foot. Which bumper do you use? I am getting this foot in part because of your videos. Thanks so much!!!! @@monoped_adventures
