Been contemplating trying cave diving for a while. I'm an experienced diver and I took up caving a year ago. Done a variety of challenging caves in the UK. Still not sure if I'm brave enough for this. The visibility is excellent in this cave, and I suspect you'd NEVER get anywhere near viz like this in Britain, with squeezes just as tight. The thing about cave diving is this doesn't look fun. I love the challenge of caving, and diving for that matter, but the challenge is always rewarded with the fact you get to see cool stuff on the way. This is just a submerged tunnel and nothing else.
Certainly hope so. I think they will, but it's one hell of a challenge given that the kids can neither swim nor dive. If you first experience of the water is a five-hour (probably longer) cave dive after you've been trapped underground for a month then it's going to put extreme psychological pressure on them. I think the key thing to remember is that the boys are in good health and they're all small and skinny. Given they play football I imagine they're all physically fit too, so there's no physical reason they can't do it. With full face masks (so no risk of regulators getting ripped from their mouth) and a slow and steady trip they should be able to. The killer in these situations is panic though, and I'm not quite sure how you train/prepare them for that when they're going from no experience at all to the most extreme end of an already dangerous sport. From what I've read on the UK caving forums, the boys seem to be in good spirits. The caves are challenging, but the most difficult stretch is only 30 m long. Other than that very narrow squeeze they should be fine.
I'm a cave diver, but this doesn't look fun. This type of cave diving is on the extreme side. There are absolutely gorgeous caves with plenty of room located in places like Tulum, Mexico and Florida. If you have a chance, take a holiday to the Tulum or Playa del Carmen area in Mexico and you can do guided cavern tours in the cenotes. That's a good way to find out if you'd be interested in pursuing cave diving.
Love it, the music really adds suspense. Thank you I could never do this and I get it but this is extreme 🤩. That current looks strong like a northeastern fall wind.
This is insane. This is the first cave diving video I have seen where I was almost having to look away. Totally gives me the creeps. These guys are true adventurers.
OMG I cannot believe I came across the video that started my cave dive video watching obsession!!! I’ve been obsessed for 2 years now after seeing this. Idk why… I have claustrophobia. But I can’t look away!!!

My wife are DMs and have been cave diving around the world, this type of diving is very dangerous and has many pitfalls. This should never be attempted by amateurs or people who are not professionally trained as cave divers. Even with the best training things can go wrong at every turn.
I could never, will never do this, but it gives me shivers and anyone that can conquer fears enough to do this is super human in my book. Crazy sport!!!
I was going to comment the normal response to something like this, but words can't describe what im feeling watching this, i guess you do this to prove something to yourself. Hats off to you fine divers.
do i want to try cave diving? -Yes. Would i ever do this kind of "cave" diving? -Fock no... i feel totaly stressed out just by looking at this video.. what if you get stuck, xD
Dark Silver yea or what if you accidentally disconnect your breathing toluene or tank. You tug on it a little too hard and you are fucked. An ambulance is not dive down there to save u. CPR after a couple of hours of not breathing will not help you.
This is without a doubt the only type of cave diving I will never do. If the cave doesn’t want me to get through then I’m not gonna try and go through. That’s a recipe to never have anyone find your body
Wow! Big respect! And good lock on Your next adventure! :) I have a one question. What's the music in this video? I would ask for the title and author? Thank You in advance! :)

I'm very happy with the good ending in Thailand. Big respect for divers. I couldn't do it in a million years. 🙌✨
All you really get to see is the tank the
Just stumbled upon this oldie. Sitting here having a mild anxiety attack. Thx for that
Love it, the music really adds suspense. Thank you I could never do this and I get it but this is extreme 🤩. That current looks strong like a northeastern fall wind.
The sound of the didgeridoo really emphasised the connection with nature
“If you’re a fan of the dark, strange and mysterious delivered in story format you’ve come to the right place”
Lol, I ultimately ended up here from that place too. Had to check it out
This is insane. This is the first cave diving video I have seen where I was almost having to look away. Totally gives me the creeps.
These guys are true adventurers.
They are not adventurers, they are just flat out stupid
It’s people like this who saved those boys in the Thai cave. Many thanks to their heroism and massive courage.
Holy cow, I couldn't finish watching it. I literally got claustrophobic and almost freaked out!!
haha, now go watch 'Climbing the world's tallest Radio Tower' ua-cam.com/video/INbKYq0G9nU/v-deo.html
OMG I cannot believe I came across the video that started my cave dive video watching obsession!!! I’ve been obsessed for 2 years now after seeing this. Idk why… I have claustrophobia. But I can’t look away!!!
This shit looks deadly as fuck.
You are BRAVE and about 99% insane. VERY nice job and thank you for sharing! COMPOSURE and control. wow.
I'm a scuba diver but don't think i would ever want to go into that tight of a cave, you are braver than I am! Don't you guys worry about tearing up your dive suites on all the rocks? My wetsuit cost $400 and I don't really want to replace it any time soon! lol
I have watched so many of these videos I think im ready for it.
Ääähm. Nope watch and do this is very different
lmao the soundtrack makes it
Now imagine doing this with this soundtrack playing in your ears
My wife are DMs and have been cave diving around the world, this type of diving is very dangerous and has many pitfalls. This should never be attempted by amateurs or people who are not professionally trained as cave divers. Even with the best training things can go wrong at every turn.
This is for sure the best and extreme cave video that i have never seen! You are God Man!
I thought there isn't anything worse related to caves with tight gaps... until now....
I could never, will never do this, but it gives me shivers and anyone that can conquer fears enough to do this is super human in my book. Crazy sport!!!
Could you please tell me what this great soundtrack is?
i wouldnt go near that even with no water!
I was always waiting for the cave to open up :P Guess not. Great diving and strong minds here!
This is even more frightening than when regular cavers going in tight caves, never mind underwater tight caves 😱😱
Why’s the diver at 6:00 switching regulators? Assuming it’s to consume a different gas why would they do that mid-dive?
FOR WHAT PURPOUSE
fun, dumbass
@@thegrandnil764 that's not fun you dumbass
@@yavuzmarifet4528 dumass like you won’t know the fun in it
@@16_marvin68 what is the fun in it? this is a nightmare.
@@seljap_ fun is relative
I was going to comment the normal response to something like this, but words can't describe what im feeling watching this, i guess you do this to prove something to yourself. Hats off to you fine divers.
do i want to try cave diving? -Yes.
Would i ever do this kind of "cave" diving? -Fock no...
i feel totaly stressed out just by looking at this video..
what if you get stuck, xD
Dark Silver 4:28 *head gets stuck*
Dark Silver yea or what if you accidentally disconnect your breathing toluene or tank. You tug on it a little too hard and you are fucked. An ambulance is not dive down there to save u. CPR after a couple of hours of not breathing will not help you.
How the hell was this recorded the camera seems to be floating around recording him by itself
Nope town population: me
says one weaboo to another...
Population: the vast majority of people watching this video.
And me
Much respect, this takes "keeping calm" to a entirely new level
Jajajajaja I love no fin diving!! You guys rock!!
Nice and calm , how much cave time .
why did the second diver switch mouth peices before the squeeze? Not a diver so lots of ignorance on my part.
This is without a doubt the only type of cave diving I will never do. If the cave doesn’t want me to get through then I’m not gonna try and go through. That’s a recipe to never have anyone find your body
Temperature of the water? Looks like a bit of a PIA, hats off the Richard, great video in an extreme environment!
Awesome video, and absolutely terrifying. Why did he change his reg?
Scariest cave diving video I've seen
Very nice. Great job!!
Wow! Big respect! And good lock on Your next adventure! :)
I have a one question. What's the music in this video? I would ask for the title and author? Thank You in advance! :)
- So what did you find down there?
- Rocks.
- You mean like these rocks here?
- Yeah, just like those.
- Oh... cool
- yeah
I enjoyed watching this, but you gotta be somewhat unhinged to do something that dangerous.
Joker’s watching this and thinking “what is this guy NUTS?”
Smooth. Though I never cared for body holes. Best
This is the definition of taking it to another level
This gives me so much anxiety but for some reason I’m addicted to watching stuff like this.
I've been caving, got stuck a couple times, but underwater...that's another story....bigger kahunas than mine for sure! Good luck,,,well skill and guts with lots of glory I'm sure
First I'm watching regular cave crawling now this. I'm done I'm watching the happiest show I can find
Annnd it's official. I have anxiety.
lolol
Yes, I know it is stupid and irrational and there is nothing to fear about and there is nothing dangerous in that situation, but: I have a really bad fear of crawling through >100 metres long horizontal shafts filled with water.
Just drink some of ye likker
As a Wisconsin native, we work on our tolerances constantly and can handle alcohol, the bends, nitrogen necrosis from deep dives pretty well.
The only thing to so in this state is stuff like this, my hometown only had 27 bars and 3 gas stations in it, and drugs. Port had a population of 15k at the time.

This is very very insane. How did they got such place. Who found that spot. He is the master.
But who was camera
you're insane if you think he's alone
Animurh a camera guy was there too
The guy who posted this video is the camera guy. He went on this dive with them to film it.
Jiyva do you just assume it’s gender?
Naomi Bianchi I
So what was the point considering you can barely move your head to look around anyway?
I’ve been watching people do this in reg caves. And I’m terrified. Come to find out this weirdo is doing the exact same thing... under water...
The people in this world.
Cool cave, didn't know there are some in WI, we (cave divers) always go to Floryda or Mexico, looks like its a very short one though.
imagine getting a cramp mid-way through this
I thought exactly the same
It doesn’t look too bad as long and no one panicks and thinks they’ll make it out alive I’m a diver and I was always taught that panicking is almost like signing a death certificate
I've also been told in certain forms of adult entertainment having parts of the male antimony nailed to a wooden stool is considered "fun".
My heartbeat is pounding watching this video, lol. I could not do that. Props!!!
Best part starts at 6:00
Nooooope! These ppl are insane
Speechless. You guys are truly crazy.
couldn't breathe watching it, no way would I do that! I panic when I can't get out of a tight t-shirt lol
Imagine you and some other dude run into each other face first inside the cave. How do you decide who goes backwards
I have to say I understand the drive- to discover something new, to push yourself beyond your limits, and simply to say "I did that because I could". Still, I know I will never do anything like that! I've been "cave diving" in a generous sense of the word, but this video let me experience claustrophobia for the first time. No thanks!
Wonder what one would do if the passage didn't open up enough to turn around. Backing out would really suck!
I was thinking the same thing.
I feel claustrophobic just looking at that ... Just imagine getting stuck in there .
Nice music! Perfect for the tight spaces, lol.
6:05 "wait a second, I'll take my helmet off, otherwise I won't fit through this mountain"
6:05
i understand this. It's stress management. "I might have a bad day at work, but at least I'm not pushing my only source of oxygen through a claustrophobic nightmare where I could get stuck at any moment." I GET IT.
whats the music?
dexter432432 sounds like Australian didgery doo
